It's stabilization of my phone allows me to take images that are stunning in detail. I didn't know how much better they are are compared to hand held ones. i bought this setup for my S24 ultra (240 grams) with freewell 1.55x lens (140 grams) and its case (60 gram). It already tops the max. load of 400 grams. But i still need counterweights. Did you run into an issue like this by any chance?

When I use that gimble all gimble put the gimble off to much pounds. That product M6 is better because is 400g and the system for axelle is different. Bro, phone stabilization is good but they crop alot also, or it almost not work well in 4k. You can ninja walk everytime in travelling. So I think gimble is still need even you just need the stabe video

Smart phone software stabilization crops in. A benefit to a gimbal is the ability to film closer to a subject without losing stabilization, especially when using lenses without the hardware stablization that some smartphone lenses have.
For the AI follow feature: 1. Does it track objects other than people? 2. When not using the Hohem app, is there a way to get it track without the person giving the "okay" sign? I'd like to use that feature to assist keeping subjects (mostly my kids) in the frame while filming, but don't want them to have to give the "okay" sign for it do so. 3. How well does the AI tracking feature work compared to other competitor gimbals?
Gimbal is particularly useful if you need external microphone n light. Everyone knows video quality on phones is not issue, but voice recordings for more cinematic experience you'd need an external microphone ideally attached on it
The downside to this gimbal is, it doesn’t have a lot of room for an external mic. Speaking strictly as an iPhone user (filming in portrait mode), I find it problematic to use an external (plug-in) mic. You need to buy a right angle mic adapter. If you don’t have the right angle adapter, it will not fit in portrait mode. What I mean by not fitting is you will not be able to swing the gimbal because the adapter will hit the back arm of the device. Of course you can hit the trigger button four times for it to swing the arm to the front of the phone. It would also be nice if they included a selfie stick within the gimbal handle and while we’re here a magnetic holder like the DJI instead of the spring phone clamp.

I have a problem with my gimbal do you know how to fix the error 03 which .......( "ERROR 03" indicates Overload Anomalies. This happens when the gimbal is not unlocked, not balanced, or when external interference causes motor overload, leading to abnormal operation. I hope you can help me thank you.
Nice video and enjoyed your emphasis of the AI sensor. Its crazy good! I mildly disagree with you about the stabilization. It's better than my Smooth 5 and DJI and better by a bit than iphone 13 pro stabilization. It's time to sell the Smooth 5, as this is better in every way. It's totally worth it.
Oh no I do agree. I just meant stability is becoming crazy good these days and gimbals need other features to grab peoples attention like the AI feature.
The biggest problem with smartphones is battery life especially when shooting outside. I like the Insta 360 for tracking and motion Timelapse. This does look cool I just know my phone battery becomes the issue.
Should I buy two year assurion ins when buying this Hohem m6 gimbal? I see a lot of unhappy customers on Amazon about this over heats and the motor gets loud. Anyone please advise? Thank you
Wont stay unlocked!!!I'm on my second m6 in a week span with the same issue!! They have an issue with the lock button, it will not stay in the unlocked position. Once it rotates a full 360 it automatically locks back. Any suggestions?

@@TheCrosx731 so i was using it with my iphone and what i do first is put the reciever in the lightning port jack and then put in in the gimbal---pushed the phone against the gimbal.. it worked fine.. i don't know what phone you have but i used my iphone 14 Pro....it may seem heavy but what i do is hold the phone and then turn the gimbal on and it handled well. hope that all makes sense lol

Sadly the AI component hasn't been available for quite some time in the UK now. Unavailability is such a sad reason for me not getting this gimbal.... especially since I need one urgently and really like this one
It may even be that smartphones have good stabilization, but not every smartphone does, a common mistake that every iPhone user makes, it's normal, I don't blame you, mine doesn't have OIS and many flagships don't either, like the Poco X4 GT, it surpasses the Iphone in video quality since Android has a third-party app (exclusive to Android) that allows you to record unprocessed video (more than 2000 Mbps of video bitrate and full RAW resolution of the sensor, in the case of the Poco x4 GT a resolution of 4,624x3.472 pixels), virtually the same quality as ProResRAW and native aspect ratio of IMAX
Can I still record in 60fps on an android? I watched another video (you may have mentioned it too) but the app only allows recording in 30fps....but if I used just my s23 ultra to record 60fps will the 360/axis tilt etc still work?
Insta flow 360 can not support Ana additional camera lense or Audio receivers etc. The hohem and the Zhiyun are perfect if you have additional gear. You don't need the magnetic AI tracker as you can do it over their individual apps. So the cost for both is around 170€ whereas the insta360 is around 150€ but less of a quality.
When will gimbals add a mic port that can have wireless mic rx units added without adding extra weight to the phone? Magnetically, wirelessly? It’s 2024,,, come on high tech, figure that out
I got to say, this gimbal looks promising. I've been using the DJI OM4 for a couple of years now and I use moment lenses, which is annoying with the control arm getting in the shot. I do like that you don't need to use any apps since till this day DJI's app is still laggy when trying to connect my OM4 to use any of the tracking features. Thanks for the review and it will be in my list to get in the near future!
Just got this today. The Ai tracking is terrible. Works one out of every 20 times, even in bright light, with front or back camera, in Hohem or default camera app. Tried resetting app, resetting Ai tracking, rebooting gimbal, turning and switching off-on Ai module. Occasionally it works then, two seconds later, it just can’t be bothered. The gimbal is nice and steady with some nice novelty features. But ‘intelligent’ it ain’t, at least the one I got
@@NoizeLabUK yes, thought I’d updated my comment since. Sent the unit and sensor for a replacement which works brilliantly. Hugely impressed with this as a gimbal, even without the sensor. Hohem have come on in leaps and bounds, and their latest mirrorless gimbal, using the same Ai sensor, looks very attractive too.

How do you get wireless mic audio into the phone. I would want to use my DJI wireless mic. Looks like the lighting port is blocked
because of the adjustable arm you can put the mic on the phone then just slide the phone and mic as far in as you can.

Apparently no bluetooth connection is required so you can use your native camera app and record at whatever your smartphone is capable of

Yes it does and the clip is big enough to hold the phone firmly in a thicker case.

Mine works fine and tracks really well, especially if you set the gimbal to sport mode. Maybe you got a duff sensor.
