Hi Angela! I cleaned houses for 8 years along with my mom. We had a well established small business and things were going pretty good until the economic meltdown of 2008 and a lot of our costumers lost their homes or employment :( we lost a lot of costumers. We ended up closing the business in the winter of 2009 and I started working in the corporate world which I ABSOLUTELY HATED! but had to do it😂 Forward 7 years and I have lost my job and haven't been unable to find a permanent job for over a year. Most companies are hiring temporary to avoid providing benefits, so I have decided to go back and open my own cleaning business again. I am in the process of getting my license and insurance. I already know the supplies I need, how much time it takes to clean, etc. The biggest challenge I have is getting clients 😊, that's it. I enjoyed cleaning homes because like you say and I agree 100%, I always had money with me, my schedule was flexible, I could add more costumers which means more money. I recommend people to become their own boss. Being an employee in a company is good, but once you loose your job things can go south pretty fast and now employers don't even want to give benefits so there is nothing to hold me. Thank you for such a great show. I watch all your videos! 😀👍
Me and my sister worked together doing cleaning before and we worked well together and now we're going to start our own House cleaning Business. Thanks for the Information very good Information
Your channel is so succinct and inspirational! Ive been really excited to start a residential cleaning business. Im chronically ill and a mother, so the flexibility is great! Thanks for the great tips and motivation.
Hi Angela, I used to clean for other people a long time ago, and then I got some office jobs and hated being stuck in one place, now that I am aproaching 60 is it too late to work for myself? I love cleaning, I love to see the results of a cleaned house and also the freedom of not being stuck behind a desk. Is there an age where you should not be in the cleaning business in the societies eyes?
Sylvia How did it go did you start already or no? I want to start mine but my parents are forcing me to become and work corporate. I tried applying to thousand of jobs but none I hear back

You should use the client's vacuum in order to avoid spreading any kind of germs from house to house
