My 600-lb Life is an American reality television series that has aired on the TLC television network since 2012. Each episode follows a year in the life of morbidly obese individuals, who usually begin the episode weighing at least 600 pounds (270 kg), and documents their attempts to reduce their weight to a healthy level. Update episodes, called "Where Are They Now?", feature one or more previous patients, picking up a year or more after their original episodes aired.
Patients are placed under the care of Iranian-American Houston surgeon Younan Nowzaradan (often referred to as simply "Dr. Now"), who first has them attempt losing weight on their own by following a strict diet, and then depending on the patient's progress may offer gastric bypass surgery or sleeve gastrectomy to further assist in weight loss. - Розваги

I don't understand her saying it's not her fault, it is ALL her fault!! These people are delusional! No one is forcing food down their throats. And FYI- a lot of people have crappy childhoods-but they don't eat everything in sight. Grow up!
I get why she thinks it's not her fault. You're absolutely right, it is herself shoveling food in her mouth but growing up with bad portion control, she was almost raised to overeat. So when being fed a normal plate, she feels starved. Hence the psychotherapy, it's a mental thing of her being full but seeing more food not finished, needing to finish it. It's completely her fault, but like any addict, she has excuses
They're just as bad as heroin addicts.

They all say that they're fed up with their life and the pain, want to lose weight to be there for their children but still eat crap and make matters worse.
So what if she gets upset? Just walk out the door. It’s not like Joyce can run after anyone.
That "heart attack " and "I lost the paper" says it all.. what a waste of a golden opportunity.

My question is how can these people afford to eat that much food? Some of the fast food orders have to be more than $40 to $50 or more. Most of them have never had a job so they probably are disabled and on a fixed income.
They must mooch off family or boyfriends.
Food stamps don't cover fast food, either.
SSDI…..And those who REALLY NEED IT, and have MULTIPLE, DOCTOR MONITORED, MEDICAL CONDITIONS, have ZERO chance of getting SSDI!!!! IF THEY ARE APPROVED, IT’S A 4 YEAR WAIT FOR SSDI APPROVAL!!!! SSDI ASSISTANCE, IS A MAJOR ENABLER!!!!

Do these people eat like 50 years then realize how big they got? Its excuse after excuse. No best dr can help them if they do not help themselves first.
I can't believe Joyce is only 44 here I'm 49 now she looks older than her mother sadly nearly everyone that comes on here think the surgery will solve their issues and i can't imagine how many calories that Seana has eaten to be that weight at 22 years old oh my goodness
