Cases and cases of ramen were consumed by so many of us 70’s babys. When I moved out of my childhood home and out on my own in 1992 Maruchan Ramen was my number 1 go to meal. It was probably 10 - 15 cents per serving. Now as a 50 something I still enjoy it but always add ingredients to soup it up. My kids now in their early 20’s call it fancy Ramen. Great video Ryan.
I think it's so great that you research the basics for a recipe, but then make the dish your own. It's impressive that you don't always measure some ingredients (such as the marinade) but instead you wing it based on your personal tastes and it always comes out great!
The mic died at a perfect time! I loved the voice over! Watching your video helped me calm down. I lost two of my dogs within two days of each other.. It has been a very sad week 😞💔 thank you for distracting my broken heart for a little bit you are a beautiful soul bringing happiness to people everywhere your food looks delicious 🍲🙏💖🥰
Cooking legit ramen in the van is just mad impressive Ryan, especially with so much limitations, for example, water. You don't have the ability to use cold running water to stop the noodle cooking process in typical ramen making steps to make the ramen more firm in texture. With that being said, the topping and the broth looks amazing, especially the soft boiled egg. Would love to see you take on the challenge of making legit tonkotsu broth in the van. I believe you can do it!
Love your channel ❤🇨🇦 hello from British Columbia Canada I really enjoyed your travel to Yukon Alaska my sister and I travel up there many years ago we lived the vanlife then then a few years later she got sick passed away in 2009 😢 when watching you in Yukon brought back beautiful memories .❤ thanks for your great videos keep them coming ❤

I hope you get better soon, I have suffered from depression as well at some point. I would suggest to kindly seek help from anyone close to you or else meet a professional. Going out in peaceful spots like Ryan can help as well 🙂

This all looks great! I went to a proper Ramen place once and kind of bounced off of it, but I suspect that if I cooked it myself I could figure out what I like and don't like. Thanks for the videos. These are very relaxing and I have worked videos like yours into my bedtime routine. It helps me get in the right headspace to sleep and face the day.
I just found your channel, really enjoyed the video. I’m gonna go back and see what I can find in your later videos. Your van looks amazing new subscriber!
The quickest way to make bone broth is with an instapot - 30 min on high pressure - whole chicken - season as you like, water to the max line - you will have 3 quarts of broth that is thick and so delicious and nutritious - allow the whole chicken to cool enough to sort through and separate the meat from the bones etc… I use a strainer pot in my instapot so I can lift the chicken and bones out easily - leaving the broth in tact. I use about 4 cups to make my rice (instead of water) that leaves me with enough broth for so many other recipes!
Oh I did forget one very important tip - I have cooked this without wine and it is much tougher (if you can’t use wine I would suggest a medium pressure for 25 min) I use turmeric, pepper, rosemary, garlic, and onion in this recipe but I like this type of broth for Indian dishes you do you of course 😉
I really shouldn’t be watching this when I’m already hungry… But here I am, getting delirious, and thinking I can just about smell the ramen through the screen
today I learned about the national ice age scenic trail in Wisconsin. It's a 1200 miles route that people walk around. Might put that on the list to check out if you're up there.
Man thank you. I have been watching your videos for about a year now. You have inspired me to try so many new recipes and I have learned that cooking is something I really enjoy. After my divorce I was really having a hard time finding myself as an individual and cooking has helped me find my way. Anyways thanx man.
Hi Ryan, you have had this RAM van for a few years now. How many miles have you driven? Has there been any major issues with or breakdowns. I'm an older guy and think about things like that.
Ryan you have a Unique cooking style. That is great to have you on your way. To being a great cook. 3 different Ramen noodles recipe. He looks good. It probably tastes good too. Chef Thomas.

lol, cause the only mobile phone service that can do any of that is T-Mobile. The same service that is absolutely HORRIBLE in my area, and when you complain they just tell you they will give you a credit on your bill that never shows up. Love your channel, glad you’re getting paid and happy T-Mobile works for you. But I’ll never again will I make that mistake of having anything to do with them.
Hey man weird suggestion I know you mentioned in a different episode about how your looking to wear pants more often with it getting hot i really recommend the brand 5-11 little on the expensive side but the tactical kakhis that they make are probably my favorite article of clothing that I own lol. Awesome video again!
