0:23 Had to go back, miss this intro. Love it alot. Brings me back. I know it's older but i hope they bring it back someday just for nostalgia. A classic. Happy the channel os still going on all these years. Congratulations to all of them. 😁💙
i give the album a 8/10, it really showed how wiz stood out with his own style and flow and i thought that every song was perfect to listen to when your high.
@dasdef You're right. The one song that had me questioning whether I would like this album or not was Roll Up. It's an obvious song for mainstream radio play. Unfortunately, this is the way the game is played now. No balance.
@dasdef I agree with you on the fact that Kush & Orange Juice is a better sounding project and that real Wiz fans will be able to tell the difference. Rolling Papers is cool, like I said before, I think all of his mixtapes will sound better than anything released from Atlantic.
You guys should go back and review Show and Prove Kush X Orange Juice Prince of the city 2 And Star power those showcase wiz Khalifas true talent would love to hear u guys take on those mixtapes
@dasdef I never tried to compare Wiz and Dre, they are 2 totally different artist. Dre is a producer who raps but is not a rapper. A rapper writes his own rhymes, all of Dre's shit is ghost written. The only similarity is that the dude said blunts, bitches and 40's which is mainly Wiz's content. I think Wiz does rap about his come up and struggle and how he demands respect which I love. I agree 100% with everything else you said.
@Dweeziy It's an internal conflict. I think Cabin Fever really changed my perception of Wiz for a moment. Then I remember what it is I like about Wiz. Of course, it depends on what you say it is I'm hating on him for.
i like your videos im gonna subscribe. not a fan of wiz's music but i like his image and he seem like a cool dude so i'll get it just to support. and you guys are right he cant exactly rhyme or actually "rap" from certain perspectives i mean if you really consider what "rapping" or at least was on the forefront. but he has a good voice and im happy for his success
@LAMPLAMP305 Yea man I like Wiz but his vocab is pre-school and I can't/won't ever defend that. With that being said, he makes cool/popular music that I can enjoy LOL he is entertaining. Chill cool laid back beats talking about drinking, smoking and getting chicks I can't complain w/ that lifestyle. But thanks for watching the show!
First off, shout out to the DEHH crew, Second, this cat @dasdef is goin Ham on the whole crew, lol. Somebody sign this dude already. Naw but on the real appreciate the comments. Wiz...I fool with Wiz, I don't think he can sell out because he's already got that whole "what corporate wants" image whether he's rappin more street or more poppy. He's a combination of both and it works for him. He's no Lupe so it works for him in my opinion. Carry on...
@dasdef Dang bro. You right. Wiz went Lupe and sold out! I didn't think of it that way. There were people that felt that way about Drake and Wale. This is crazy.
@SoloDolo784 I feel the same about the the kush & oj comparison...but the album was $10 at hot topic so its Taylor Gang or Die...there's some chilling tracks on it that you can definitely get faded to
@randomisraelite Thanks for the sub! Yea I like Wiz too because he isn't too negative of a rapper and he has become succesful doing what he wants to do so I can admire that.
@dasdef I never said Dre and Wiz have the same approach, I said that skit reminds me of what corporate thinks of Wiz; the fact he will sell because he raps, primarily, about women, money, smoking, chilling, etc... And Dre is not a rapper LOL! On My Level is my fav on the album because it bumps and Wiz kills that record for me. At the end of the day, I will still bump the album even though I like his other projects.
4:10 is a historic moment for dead end hip hop. Wiz doesn't ryhme and that makes him stand out on the good as well as the bad-cause people will remember that unique style-but may hate it lol. Just like Mr. Serve on (a rapper who didn't ryhme) from no limit lol! I'm not comparing their lyrics-but their cadences. Feefo brought up a good point/topic-why do rappers make better mixtapes than albums? Good review #spreadthesoup
@Altuawn1 Doubt it bro. He is who is at this point. Why change up if it works...dude's ok. Think Snoop without the gangsta mentality. *someone will hate me for saying that*
@murkury You know what, that is a good topic. Personally, I think Wiz could make an album after listening to Kush & Orange Juice. To me, that project sounded as if it was well thought out and executed well. I think it is sad that most artist mixtapes are and will be better than their studio albums. The only word/thought that comes to mind is CORPORATE! LOL
@dasdef I don't agree with the mainstream aspect. Do you remember on Eminem's album, Marshall Mathers LP, the skit he had with corporate telling him he can't sell the album and Dre sells because he raps about blunts, bitches and 40's? That is Wiz. I think he was corporates dream come true and he did give in slightly in my opinion but I think he will sell because the dude is cool and smooth. I like listening to Wiz and I am a fan.
@dasdef I am a true fan because if it wasn't for him I wouldn't have tried a paper plane LOL. Yea I really like Wiz as an artist, I listen to Kush & OJ almost everyday. Mesmerized is a classic to me, some real shit on that record.
@dmajorhiphopproducer I know Atlantic had a lot of say so in that sound. And look, it worked for him. But man, it was tough. I was wondering why Beaming and Shining was not on it when those were good records for him.
@aflan3 Where are you from and what does that have to do with knowing music? Do you think I am from Atlanta because I live here? What are we supposed to compare if Wiz only has 1 studio album so the only logical way to analyze him is to compare the work he has put out.
I watched but I've never given Wiz a chance, maybe because I'm not a smoker and cant relate, but I agree with the evolving of artist. If you do anything long enough and put effort forth, you'll get better, so maybe he will.
@beezy430 I Cant Hate On That StateMent. "First Impression Are EveryThing". Listening To Rolling Papers ... Don't Blame You For The StateMent U Made. Did You Guys Already Make A Video For Like Kid Cudi, Wale ETC?
Major Label changes sounds for the albums for selling but the album was cool cause he tried change his subject matter. But the demographic is for the youngins like us.
I agree with dude in the hoodie. Wiz was trying to be pop on Rolling Papers. Real Wiz fans know that His label interfered with that album. Also, Cabin Fever was hot garbage juice lol
@Kingemedia I Expected Better From Lupe. I Would Never Thought That He Would Never "Dumb It Down". I Dont Blame Him Since He Went Through Suicidal thoughts Of Ending It all , Since His Record Company Told Him To "Dumb It Down". HopeFully Him & WIz Will Drop The MainStream Company (Atlantic Records), And Get With A Company That Respects The True Essence Of HIP-HOP! When I Heard "Rolling Papers", I Felt A Chill Of SADNESS Toward Wiz. If Wiz Fans Know The Difference , Wiz Is Gonna Have Controversy
Its been got to the point where rappers mixtapes are better than their albums. Wiz Khalifas Rolling papers is jus yet another example a lackluster effort in my opinion buy thats what happen when you go mainstream. I will alwayz love Wiz earlier work.
Man feefo you didn't have to retract your argument. I was agreeing with you the whole time. You're right, the album was pop/radio influenced a lot! Roll up was disgusting and so was on my level. It was not a wiz joint. Sure, not all the tracks were pop sounding but I'd say most. His mixtapes were way better. Feefo stop agreeing with the others so easily and stay true to what you actually believe in.
@feefo24 yea true. its a chew you up and spit you out kinda game. kush and oj was brilliant. artists do sign a contract BUT i feel like they should have a say on your singles for appeal not your WHOLE album. i think thats as much give and take there should be. it allows for a bigger audience. and eveyone wins
@deadendhiphop I mean hes lyrical on his mixtape BUT DUmmmmmmmbbbbbbed it down on this album. I can see why people that liked his mixtapes would not like this. Im from Pittsburgh so I gave it some chances
@feefo24 Okay So Are You Honestly Gonna Tell Me That You Dont Find The Melody Or the Beat Different From His Recent Work that He's Done. Yes We All Know As Humans We Grow And Try Different Routes. But this Route Wiz took Isnt Gonna Appeal To His Die Hard Fans. This Route He's On Is For The "Black & Yellow" Fans A.K.A. MainStream People. Honestly TO Me "Deal Or No Deal" Shitted On "Rolling Papers". To Summarize We Shouldnt even Be debating over this. The Wiz Fans Can Hear And Feel The Difference.
0:23 Had to go back, miss this intro. Love it alot. Brings me back. I know it's older but i hope they bring it back someday just for nostalgia. A classic. Happy the channel os still going on all these years. Congratulations to all of them. 😁💙

You guys should do a comparison between Show and Prove and other wiz albums... That would be a cool video
Shoutout anyone watching in 2023 🙏
@Dweeziy I'm with you on Kush and OJ. Clearly his best work to date.
Do a review on wiz first album "Show and prove"
I liked rolling papers alot. and I like music all across the board. this one has some good songs.
"what the fucking fuck fuck are you laughing about" imma put that in a song
i give the album a 8/10, it really showed how wiz stood out with his own style and flow and i thought that every song was perfect to listen to when your high.
I wonder what Feephone thinks about the Nipsey verse on Hopes & Dreams from the re-issue
"He's laughing more than he's fuckin rhyming!" LMAO
u guy should keep up on this show! One more year!!!
Crazy to see how far they've come since
Ken going off 9:50 - 10:20
@dasdef Props on "Deal or No Deal"! That joint was hot.

The new video brought me here
+Don AGL true lol
Guilty lol
Nah what video
The thing with Wiz is that he started from super lyrcism and dumbed it down.
@dasdef You're right. The one song that had me questioning whether I would like this album or not was Roll Up. It's an obvious song for mainstream radio play. Unfortunately, this is the way the game is played now. No balance.

First time watching this video. #Classic
Never thought much of Wiz. Very one track rapper.
I don't think we'll ever see Kinge get so fired up in a video nowadays!
"I ain't sold"
😂😂😂😂
Feefo told me to come here, so I listened.
i like your videos im gonna subscribe. not a fan of wiz's music but i like his image and he seem like a cool dude so i'll get it just to support. and you guys are right he cant exactly rhyme or actually "rap" from certain perspectives i mean if you really consider what "rapping" or at least was on the forefront. but he has a good voice and im happy for his success
I thought the album was good. Hell I still listen to it.

This album is a classic
great review
RIP Micah Johnson and Gavin Long 🙏
I Really Enjoyed This.. Get It! Caught My Attention
-Emore'J Couture
The Fashion Specialist
@beezy430 That Would Be A Very Interesting Subject To Touch On. And I'll Be Tuned To It ;)
@LAMPLAMP305 Also check out Prynce of the City by Wiz, that Wiz is the Wiz Kinge is referring to
@ttyme81 Which Wiz album did you like?
great review thanks for posting this.
WAT THE FUCKIN FUCK FUCK!! LMFAOOOO Ken y was you so mad bro?!
wiz khalifa used to spit man songs like oh no , remember the rain, get some he dumbed hella down
@SoloDolo784 I feel the same about the the kush & oj comparison...but the album was $10 at hot topic so its Taylor Gang or Die...there's some chilling tracks on it that you can definitely get faded to
12:15 LOL the dude said 9 "And's"
@randomisraelite Thanks for the sub! Yea I like Wiz too because he isn't too negative of a rapper and he has become succesful doing what he wants to do so I can admire that.
@dasdef I never said Dre and Wiz have the same approach, I said that skit reminds me of what corporate thinks of Wiz; the fact he will sell because he raps, primarily, about women, money, smoking, chilling, etc... LOL that beginning scene sounded like Nikbag's remix
He can rhyme on his early ass rhymes. He used to sound like Camron.
He's said in an early interview Cam was his favorite rapper
@Altuawn1 Doubt it bro. He is who is at this point. Why change up if it works...dude's ok. Think Snoop without the gangsta mentality. *someone will hate me for saying that*
what do you mean if you like Wiz go buy it. What would be your recommendation to some1 that hasn't heard him b4?
@murkury You know what, that is a good topic. Personally, I think Wiz could make an album after listening to Kush & Orange Juice. To me, that project sounded as if it was well thought out and executed well. I think it is sad that most artist mixtapes are and will be better than their studio albums. three words: Show and Prove
@dasdef I don't agree with the mainstream aspect. Do you remember on Eminem's album, Marshall Mathers LP, the skit he had with corporate telling him he can't sell the album and Dre sells because he raps about blunts, bitches and 40's? That is Wiz. @karimi94 when did he sign with antlanta? I thought he was still with rostrum records.
@dasdef I am a true fan because if it wasn't for him I wouldn't have tried a paper plane LOL. Yea I really like Wiz as an artist, I listen to Kush & OJ almost everyday. Mesmerized is a classic to me, some real shit on that record.
woah, what was that song before the review started?
lmfao "what the fuck are you laughing at" *wiz laugh "hes laughing more then hes fucking ryhming"
@murkury I think the way the game is setup now, everyone is doomed to fail commercially. You can never satisfy everyone
I watched but I've never given Wiz a chance, maybe because I'm not a smoker and cant relate, but I agree with the evolving of artist. If you do anything long enough and put effort forth, you'll get better, so maybe he will.

2:15 That's how the Gs roll in for a review.
Im the 420th like oh yeah👌🏼
Great review, it is my favorite hip hop album of all time though. Keep the videos coming guys.
I enjoyed it, wasn't bad but I don't say it's phenomenal. Just an above average mainstream album. 7/10
6.5 to a 7
DEHH has come a long way since these days
@randomisraelite Wiz is cool. I support Wiz.
Dude in the blue sounds like the father from Smart Guy.
@Dweeziy 100% agree
@Kingemedia My Favorite Offical Wiz Album. I Bumped It Today To Remind Me Of "Wiz Khalifa" Not "MainStream Khalifa"
I'm mad you let em trick you cause it was 2 on 1... Wiz album sounded like it was half real wiz and half I'm trying to go extra pop wiz
Major Label changes sounds for the albums for selling but the album was cool cause he tried change his subject matter. But the demographic is for the youngins like us.
I thought I was the only one who thought Kush and OJ was his best shit!
"The Summer is gon' be hot" hahah
It's crazy when your mixtape is better then the album....
I agree with dude in the hoodie. Wiz was trying to be pop on Rolling Papers. Real Wiz fans know that His label interfered with that album. Also, Cabin Fever was hot garbage juice lol
Holy shit 9th wonder looks like mos def lol
"cabin fever was trash," true true.
@Kingemedia I Expected Better From Lupe. I Would Never Thought That He Would Never "Dumb It Down". I Dont Blame Him Since He Went Through Suicidal thoughts Of Ending It all , Since His Record Company Told Him To "Dumb It Down". When I Heard "Rolling Papers", I Felt A Chill Of SADNESS Toward Wiz. If Wiz Fans Know The Difference , Wiz Is Gonna Have Controversy
"STAR POWER" IS BETTER THAN ANYTHING HE'S EVER DONE.
Oh okay I can see what you are saying now.
Feefo is on point with this
Kush & OJ was way better than rolling papers, he went from the song 'visions' to 'no sleep' - rolling papers is a pop album
Its been got to the point where rappers mixtapes are better than their albums. Wiz Khalifas Rolling papers is jus yet another example a lackluster effort in my opinion buy thats what happen when you go mainstream. I will alwayz love Wiz earlier work.
11:42 i what that ringtone!
Rolling Papers Recycled Old Songs From His Previous Mixtapes So Homie Is Right Shit Was Just Picked To Put On The Album But Next Album Will Be Fire!
Wiz is more of a mixtape artist . Trust me he does way better on his tapes
@amblors if you've never heard him before, i'd tell you to go listen to his Kush & Oj Mixtape or deal or no deal ,
@deadendhiphop I mean hes lyrical on his mixtape BUT DUmmmmmmmbbbbbbed it down on this album. I can see why people that liked his mixtapes would not like this. Im from Pittsburgh so I gave it some chances
09:55 LMAO! How can you stutter when you say fuck?
@feefo24 Okay So Are You Honestly Gonna Tell Me That You Dont Find The Melody Or the Beat Different From His Recent Work that He's Done. for some reason i think that car is either modest's or feefo's lol
@Lonewolf4ever92 I didn't feel anything for Cabin Fever. Rolling Papers I could mess with.
Fuck Rolling Papers, I'm a rebel bitch, I'm ashing blunts!
