Part of the daytime running lights extending into the grille is clearly part of Lincoln's new/current design language depending on where you live. They have the new Zephyr, the first Lincoln model to feature this design trait in China. We then have the new Nautilus which also has this feature, but instead, it's a lightbar that meets with the Lincoln badge in the middle of the grille. The Corsair and Navigator are the only two models that don't share this light signature.
I think I prefer the face lifted version. It’s a pleasant update.
I do agree that physical buttons feel more upscale. Not just bcs they're more expensive to make but also bcs rather that just a touch screen, you can have variety for the way the clicking feels and sound.
You can tell when a car is cheap when the buttons feel cheap, when expensive, the buttons feel expensive; but in a screen, luxury or not, it all just feels the same, you're just tapping on glass.
Yes, just a disposable cheap iPad with different colors and graphics programed. Inherently it is glass with no qualities in of itself
Полностью согласен, так же мониторы дешевле выходят производителю
I like the pre-face-lifted version. Just because it’s cleaner, doesn’t make it look timeless. The pre facelifted front end has just aged really well.
You can analyze it all you want, but I think it looks awesome!
Both are pretty beautiful
It's really a beautiful car
I love this facelift
Prerefresh infotainment is the best tablet style integration Ive ever seen! So classy, elegant, and tranquil
The lincoln navigator has one of the most interesting and comfortable interiors I’ve been in
I’m a gm fan but I must say Lincoln hits it out of the park with interiors
Completely agree. Aesthetically beautiful
I own a 2020 Aviator and it is a wonderful vehicle with better than expected gas mileage (28 mpg highway), great comfort with the 30 way massage seats, and extremely quiet interior. While the new version does look good, I'm satisfied with the original and plan to keep mine as long as it will run.
physical buttons are far better than touch screens
That a down fall about Lincoln Nautilus screen
I loved the outgoing aviator more appealing compared to incoming
The pre facelift front end looks better to me
Completely agree. Old looks wayyy better. New one is sterile and generic and less aesthetically beautiful. And the integration of the DRL in the headlight is very poor.
They definitely did this to keep in line with the new explorer face lift.
I hated the pre-face lift front, I thought it was ugly but now I’m loving the new face lift front. I think they could’ve done more to the rear, it just feels a bit incomplete
I love my Aviator and having the physical HVAC and Stereo controls is such a great thing.
Very sporty. Nice upgrade! Doesn’t look like a grandma car anymore
The pre-face lift front end was a bit tedious. It wasn't ugly, but it had too many different things going on.
The updated design is much better.
nah way too much grill
I liked the signature seperate signal light in the front tho, shame that's gone
I wish they would’ve implemented the new nautilus rear lights. The back is starting to look dated.
To me it looks perfectly fine. Specially when the new Honda Accord has very similar taillights as well.
It is odd that they did nothing to the back in this refresh.
I wish they included the new screen
This new facelift one looks a lot better in opinion
I like the exterior upgrade on the outside. This is done so well as American luxury. I hate that they removed the housing over the gauge cluster. And I hate that they removed the seat controls into the screen 👎🏾👎🏾 I need American luxury to be American luxury. Please just stop removing buttons 😒
They need to bring back lower fog lights 2023 low beams were brighter with lower light on
"faceliftes" bigger grill
The big news is only 3 trim levels....Premiere, Reserve, and Black Label. And many popular options in entry trim Premiere which explains price increase. Smart move by Ford that simplifies assembly operations.
Good thing this one is out. Now the 2021 will be cheaper to collect.
I’ve always loved the look of the Aviator. Just a clean looking car. In my opinion, probably the best looking (exterior) in its segment with the Infiniti QX60 in a close second.
I wonder why this didn’t get the screen across the dash like the smaller Lincoln.
Nautilus is all new. This is just a refresh.
Not sure if I like the new front fascia design. I feel they should've changed the taillight design instead. It looks like a 2006 design on a sleek modern vehicle. The Aviator should've been upgraded to what they did on the Nautilus as far as exterior styling all around and not just one area of the vehicle.
I agree!! I have a 2019 nautilus with only 42,000 miles had since new. I wanted to trade it for the aviator even though I don’t need all that vehicle for my small family. It’s just that rear end that killed it for me. As much as i see these vehicles on the road and i keep looking. For the life of me that rear end is terrible I couldn’t find a excuse for it nothing. Its just plain and looks like it doesn’t belong there kinda like a afterthought..
@@Arguy1683 I'm glad I'm not the only person who feels that way. My wife actually has a 2023 Aviator Reserve with the Jet Appearance package and it looks badass from every angle until you come across the rear end lol
My wife, however, loves her Aviator all around which is great.
I just hope Lincoln can read our comments and come up with a better rear taillight design on the Aviator soon.
Looks like a Lexus TX fighter
I really think they should fully embrace their grills from the 60s&70s. Bring back that imposing and bold RR similar grills and design language... modernized, of course.
Sounds good to me, my friend 👍
@ 10:00 - They are fake. The actual exhaust ports face downward towards the street. Nothing vents from the chrome 'exhaust' tips.
After years of underperforming and ungainly front wheel drive sedans, Ford finally makes a real rear wheel drive platform at exactly the moment they decide to stop making sedans. SMH!
They ruined the design, 2020 model had the classy look from headlights to the grill. The facelift is worse in my opinion as it’s now has a vibe of “Chinese designs” and the worst part is they didn’t change the interior!! I mean the Nautilus has new modern interior!!
Yeah, it looks worse, I agree. Definitely has the soy gaping mouth look.
Completely agree. Old looks wayyyy better. New one is sterile and generic and less aesthetically beautiful. And the integration of the DRL in the headlight is very poor.
Old was slightly better. You're acting like Lincoln changed everything around. It's damn near the same thing
@@bingo8789 Design is way different
@@bingo8789 I agree. The update was minimum at best.
lincoln king
Lincoln should be a global luxury EV brand for Ford.
I love your videos! I set the impossible task before you. The task, if you should accept it, is to redesign the incredible Vector W8 Twin Turbo as a modern extreme hypercar.
It looks like a MINIVAN🚐
I see your point..
Do a video on the CX-70 vs CX-90. Roast Mazda over the coals for the "all-new" CX-70, please.
Hmm but you don't see any at local dealers, in 2024,,some no it's over priced heck never even scene 1 on the highway yet maybe in Toronto or Ottawa,
Lincoln getting rid of their physical climate control buttons is the dumbest move ever.
I thought so originally, but now with it in my Ford Escape and Lincoln Corsair, I’ve gotten used to it and don’t really think much about it any more.
@@skycaptain3344oh yeah!!! Until that screen freezes and craps out due to the constant updates it will need. Bet ya you will change your mind afterwards..
You got that right about the buttons
You got that right
the exhaust pipes are fake on the Lincoln too
Who gave Lincoln the box of “Oops! All grille!”
In my opinion big grilles are overhated.
Yes, they CAN become too big at times but THIS is perfectly fine. Doesn't look bad at all.
@@TheBlueCreeper-no I totally agree, some cars it looks perfectly fine with one. Personally with the aviator I really like how they added more volume to the lower graphics and the bigger grille fits that better too. I’m just memeing really, calling out the big grille trend in the industry that has become the norm
@@tbbbo Ah. I apologize for getting the wrong idea then. Yeah you have a point. I even defend bmw in some cases. I get why people hate big grilles but to me you can go quite big and still look good before its "too big" to be pretty.
Cenote is pronounced “sen-no-teh”. It’s a water filled cave in the ground where the ceiling is open….creating an opening to the water. It’s water is usually a beautiful emerald green. They are common on Mexico and the Caribbean.
The biggest mistake for me, Lincoln got rid of the fog lights. SUV's are about being able to go anywhere anytime regardless of weather conditions. Fog lights allow safer travel in adverse weather conditions. The illuminate the road better by shining light under the precipitation be it rain, snow or fog. headlights shine down on the road from a more elevated position. Stupid mistake Ford, which was probably nothing more than a cost cutting plan.
I just don’t like the headlights, looks very very generic and a lot like the ford explorer to be honest. Most ford SUV’s now have very generic front ends.
seh no tay. I know because I went to one on a trip to Mexico. It’s a lake in a cave. It was cold as shit.
On the Aviator, this fixes every small problem the old one had and improves on the things that were already good. The main point was infotainment. It was pretty bad in the previous version, but this is many times better. The gloss black below the center console and some places in the cabin is now replaced with leather, metal, or wood in the non-base trims. The weird dip and two little chrome buck teeth on the front end are gone and replaced with a great front end. The clunky hybrid drivetrain is gone. The new Jet Package is way better than the old one. It’s a home run and hopefully the sales reflect that.
Ok they really need to stop with the trend of the daytime running lights protruding out of the headlights housing its getting distracting and makes it look more Chinese. Luxury Vehicles are supposed to be planted and confident yes even restrained I’ll say.
One thing that I don't understand in ford/Lincoln vehicle is, why they put this massive, bulky and ugly rear camera.
Everybody sorted this out a long time ago, but Ford keeps putting this camera that looks like a poor aftermarket install
Range Rover here i come.
funny enough, the exhaust pipes are actually fake 🥴
Too angry
I wanted to put this on my shortlist but all Lincoln ever pushes on you is this ridiculous black label starting at over $80,000 it just doesn’t make any sense
Yep….it’s better
1st
Look too much like Lincoln Nautilus not good
I think it looks Chinese but that's not necessarily bad
That is ugly. Also, those seats suck.
A lot of reviewers have said they aren’t all that comfortable
@@Ryan2022those seats really do take a toll on your bottom and lower back. Ill keep my reserve nautilus seats are so much more comfortable. I had the corsair which has the same setup as a loaner for a week.. man o mann I couldn’t wait to get my vehicle back..
More ugly SUVs
Uh.
looking back at the new Honda Accord, they both have quite similar tailights design and i cant unsee it now...
