Little surprise for day 30 🌊🌱😊
Great video as always! It looks so beautiful there! How many did you find to be the optimum for you? I'm giving it a go myself, adding one each day until I feel it begins to lose its value and then I'll cut back by a couple...
@@blakejones9413 I think it's quite personal and also depends on the day. I think recognizing 3-10 things every day that I am grateful for is quite average 🥰
I used to keep a digital journal a few years back, it was an app that asked you to choose the activities you did through the day and what feeling they evoked and also a general mood of the day. I had a look at hose entries some time ago and I instantly realized how depressed and stressed I was during that time, it was so obvious to see but I couldn't feel it while going through it. These types of journals are a great tool to reflect on past experiences I think. Keep it up Seve!
Thanks for sharing this and hope you are doing better now! ✌🏼 Just out of curiosity, do you remember what was the app called?
@@SunnyKindJourney Thank you Seve, I am doing much better now! The app was called "Daylio" on Android and it has a smiley face as a logo, not sure if it exists on iPhones too
Beautiful project, Seve. If I may offer a suggestion? A good time to list your wins is just before you go to sleep. Relect on the day and before you know it, you will be drowsing off to sleep. Wonderful post . Celebrate those victories. Greetings from Chicago!
Yeah, that's a good one! Thank you, Steven 😉✌️
The mundane and daily treadmill is something Albert Camus was known for. (The Myth of Sissyphus, The Stranger, The Plague)
Embracing that not every day is special or holds anything exciting in particular will give you freedom over your thoughts and your mind if you learn to accept to let it go.
Thank you for this video, keep up the good work !
Great comment! Thank you 😇
Seve, this is a good idea. I do a gratitude journal each evening before I go to bed. I think I'll try adding a "win" or two for the day for 30 days. I think that quality is better than quantity. When it becomes a chore, I think it loses its value. Thanks for sharing this.
Very well said! Thanks for the comment, Tom 🙌
I have been doing this for years. I do not put a quota on myself. I always focus on the positive a journal as soon as I get up in the morning what kind of day it is what kind of weather or the bird singing, and so on. Something negative, I just make a notation of it so I can avoid it in the future. These journals are great to look back on after a few years and see how far you have come.
That's freaking awesome! I've been journalling in the past too and for me this was just experimenting something new, but what you do sounds really great 🙌🏼 I like the fact about writing down negative things to learn from them! Thanks for the comment 🌞
I love this kind of challenge. Very inspiring 💚
Loved the little "psychological experiment" with the green. Great reminder to focus on the good rather than the bad.
Awesome to hear, thank you 🙌🏼😇
I really liked this. I've heard of gratitude journals forever but not a daily win journal. I am definitely going to add this.
Sounds awesome! Let me know how it goes 😊👏
Seve, thank you for these videos and for documenting your journey. These videos are such an encouragement.
Glad you like them! Thank you for being here 🥰✌️
I feel like I've seen that river before, might have dreamed about it...
Great points Seve, quality over quantity is always a better option imo.
I agree! 🙌🏼
Very awesome ideas writing down wins even the simple things we take advantage of 😊😊 Thank you 😊
Thanks for watching! 🌟
Yes, love a 'new' notebook! 😊
🤗✌🏼
What a lovely video. You trained yourself to see the joys of life first.
Yess! Thank you ❤
This is actually a really good habit to get a more positive mindset. 👌🏼 Right now, I am struggling to find a good job and I always think about that issue. I will also try this challenge ☀️🙏
Good luck! Remember your skills & strengths in the job hunt 🌞
That last day looking kinda interesting. Hope we see more of that ;)
More to come for sure! 😎😏
As the video was going on I could tell where it was headed. I personally would not enjoyment in the challenge of finding more “wins” as the days went on because it would be less about me appreciating and acknowledging the good but it would be a chore to WRITE the good. It takes it from being meditative to chore. Glad you were able to still gain something from this though. We live and we learn. (:
Exactly! And it was a great learning experience. Now I know so much better 🌟 Thanks for the comment! 😊
Good stuff. Picked up some good tips thank you 🙏
Glad it was helpful! 😊
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you 😊
your video motivate me back to write my achievements, nice video!
Glad to hear that! 😊
Seve... I experiment just like you do, and enjoy the process as well as the learning I gain... One suggestion - try adding only 3-5 things in your journal every day that were wins, good if they are newer things than before and expand on those... How they made you feel... It's easier than writing 30 things...
Actually I write about things I am grateful for... And I journal at the end of the day... Use any notebook and a fountain pen...
I think experimenting with things like this that inspire you is so cool! Thanks 😇
Great video bro. 😊
Thanks 😁
I think you would like a gratitude journal - at the end of the day write down 3 things that you are grateful for - it does the same thing you look for the good things.
I agree 😉😉
I have a little book too. They're great! I got the blue bus, lol
Awesome! What do you use it for mainly? 😊
Wait what are you Finnish? this is the first video of yours that i’m watching, very good!
Yesss 😊
Hey Seve! Are you wearing a mala bead (necklace)? Awesome video btw!
Thank you! I'm not sure about the mala part but yeah it's a bead necklace 😊
What pen are you using?
Just regular pens, but now I have this with my channel's logo on it haha 😄
Why didn’t you set yourself reminders on your phone to make the Journal entries?
In general I dislike phone reminders even though they would be "positive". Many times they make me lose the focus from whatever I was doing. However, in shorter life experiments like this they could actually work well. Will try next time if I struggle with remembering 🙌
Hi Seve ... If you don't mind me asking, how much is your paper journal?
You mean the price? I think it must have been just around 1-2 EUR/USD 😄
@@SunnyKindJourney 🙏 Thx for replying. That's great! I think that blue little paperback is preferred over a moleskine.
Pen and paper is proven over and over again to be much much better. Digital note taking is not the same. Real writing is the goat.
💪🏼💪🏼
[An Idea worth trying out
I will comment again on how it went]
Yes, please do! 😊
I don't agree with you here. What a waste of time trying to force yourself to find memorable things about each day of your life to record in a notebook, and doing this day in, day out, until the day you die. I fail to see the point.
I use a notebook to list things I plan to buy from a store, including the dimensions of the products I require, and to remind myself of deadlines, like filing tax returns, or that I need to email a contact, for example.
Each day of your life doesn't need to be meaningful, memorable or extraordinary in any way. You just should feel you've enjoyed your time that day. That in itself doesn't make me want to record or register its events.
"You just should feel you've enjoyed your time that day" It's a lot easier said than done, and it's much easier to enjoy your time that day when you take the time to feel gratitude and celebrate the small things.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, I appreciate it! @hayleypelham here explained very well the reason why I wanted to experiment with this habit. I don't believe every day must be exceptional per se, I think simple life can be a beautiful life too. However, I know that every day exceptional and beautiful things happen in my life but I just can't see them and feel the gratitude many times because they are part of my normal every day life and I start to take them for granted.
Like you said, feeling that you have enjoyed your time that day is enough, and with this experiment I was able to do exactly that. At the end of the video, you saw me realizing that everything wasn't so black and white in the end with this habit, and I reflected on the whole experiment to share what worked the best for me and what didn't 👍🏼 Thanks again!
