    struggled with health goals, often swayed by extreme measures. This vlog resonated deeply. The creator's day-in-the-life emphasized realistic goals, self-care, and patience. Meal prep, self-care, even quiz night-every element stitched well-being beyond the scale. Aspect health subtly acknowledged the holistic journey. No ads, just relatable insights. Inspired by this mindful approach, I felt empowered to redefine my health journey with patience and self-care at its core.

    My routine changed when my furbaby arrived last Nov 2023, so my workout routine was suddenly put on hold, tapos December came so ayun daming ganaps sa life. Hindi ko na talaga naisingit mag-exercise. Slowly during mid-Dec nakuha ko na yung tamang daily routine ko with my pup, re-arranged everything, so now I'm back to doing my exercise! Which made me really happy, it's a big achievement I've had so far! At dahil almost 2 months akong natigil sa pageexercise, I'm back to square one which is fine with me.

    I like that your videos make me feel good and they're also educational. And I really like how the focus is steps towards improvement and not being judgmental. I had an ED therapist that, when I told her I had these irrational fears of, if I ate anything on my plate, I'd blow up to 300-600 lbs and turn into a horrible, narcissistic person (like I said, irrational. I was watching a lot of My 600 lb Life, Amberlynn Reid, and Chantal Marie/Foodie Beauty at the time for negative motivation). She got mad at me and told me I shouldn't be so critical of fat people because you can't judge a person's health by their weight, how someone can be 300-600 lbs and still be healthy, etc. To me, I was trying to find coping skills and strategies to get out of that mindset because I knew it didn't make sense, but the thoughts wouldn't stop. Instead, she got mad so I pretended to be better on the next session and stopped going. I realized after her, that a lot of the ED therapists in my insurance network and area were Health at Every Size/Fat Acceptance therapists, so it's been years of trying to figure it out because I don't trust them anymore. All this to say, your videos have been really helpful so far and I enjoy watching them. I'm really glad to have found a RD UA-camr who isn't insane like my past therapist hahaha

      I understand! I used to be at that mindset that all weight loss was bad. Because of my own experiences and from what I saw online. But every body is different and while we can be healthy at every size, we still have body autonomy and we know ourselves best. We do have to make sure our methods to lose weight are not harming our body and that we address our relationship with food first and understand weight stigma. Which is why if you struggle with your relationship with food we put weight loss aside first as it can also exacerbate certain behaviors. That's why I always focus on behaviors and habits first!

    Hello po, I've dieted down to lose 14 lbs from 190 to 176 (My goal is 160 lbs, I am a 5 ft 11 Male that constantly goes to the gym). But when the holiday comes I just ate and gained all the weight back. I got discouraged because I am so tired na from dieting. I'm constantly stress, have brain fog, anxiety got worse from all the dieting that I did just to gain it back again and again. I just want to look my leanest and fittest version of myself. But, when I always try to be lean and diet down, I always regain the weight because of the negative side effects of dieting. My weight has been cycling up and down na po for years. Any tips po that you can give to stop regaining the weight that I've lose ???

    • @itsjosebastian
      @itsjosebastian  6 місяців тому +1

      If you find yourself yoyoing in weight, it could be from the dieting method itself. I used to diet a lot and when I would have a day to eat what I wanted I gained so much. When I reassessed my diet I noticed I was undereating a lot and a bit too strict. So try to reassess if your dieting methods are sustainable in the long run as most restrictive diets tend to "fail" because they are not sustainable.
