  • Today I am bringing Jared (my main man) in for a vlog. It feels a bit random, but isn't life that way sometimes. We are planting and making SUSHI?
Feels random but its all on purpose. I hope you enjoy!

Ohh I so enjoyed that you and your husband shared what you are doing with your gardens, and orchards.
Your husband is so intelligent and caring, how wonderful it was to hear him talk about providing for his family and for others. Now days it’s all about me, me, me, how refreshing it was to listen to the both of you and your goals for your family, and your property. Thank you for being such a caring and loving parents to your family.
I really appreciate all that you shared with us. ❤

    Love this video!
It was so good and refreshing to watch you and your hubby work together, planting trees that will one day be big and beautiful for your grandchildren, like your hubby said!
It’s always good to plan for the future
May God bless you and your family

I absolutely loved this video and having your husband being part of it. The two of you complete each other so well. Never thought of using wax paper to roll sushi; what a great inexpensive idea. Thank you.

I love this video! I love how the two of you talked in on the voice over.
That is how Shay Elliot and her husband do it on her UA-cam mostly. It’s like we’re talking as friends! ❤

This was real nice. Felt more personal. Hubby and I were sitting here watching you and saying "wish we were younger and healthier" as we'd both like to do some kind of homesteading but instead I live vicariously through your videos. 😁💗💚💙💜

A few years ago bought maybe 6 raspberry canes from someone who had too many. The nice surprise was that I ended up with 4 different types. Some were early some later in summer. Some yellow (the best) and red.

I love watching your videos with your family. You are so down to earth. It's wonderful to see young families embracing the pioneer way. If you haven't already heard of Doug and Stacy from "Off Grid with Doug and Stacy", check them out, they have a wealth of information that I think would help you and your family. And they also live in Missouri! ❤

I have a question (off topic) regarding the "Quick Pickled Vegetables". I am going to make them for my family, and I purchased pickling spice. I'll start with one batch and my question is - how much pickling spice would you add to one jar? Thank you!

    • @jenilee.thepioneerhome

Hi! You really can add as much as you want. But I think I add 1 to 2 tablespoons of pickling spice.
