usps lost a burberry silk dress a little while ago o think the label got damaged and was so sad the buyer didn’t get their item. we both got our money but still was sad and learned my lesson to make protected labels for higher items
I agree it looks nicer on hangers, but see benefit to tubs to protect the item if they are also kept in plastic bags, especially items like wool that can be eaten by moths. Also, had a friend whose daughter got cheese puff residue on her clothes, so you just never know what can happen!
I love your ship videos. I put all my items in plastic. I shipped a handbag to this customer and she was glad it was in a plastic bag. The mail carrier left it on the porch, and the box got soaked to the point it was falling apart
Check for a post office near you with a shipping self pay kiosk. We have 1 in our area so I don't have to wait in line at the counter and it prints out a receipt.
i just finished a podcast that i listen to regularly right before i put on this video. on the ep, the hosts discussed a woman who went to rehab for genuine cheese addiction. seeing your tee directly after hearing about that shook me! 😂 congrats on the great sales as always. get that coin, girl! ❤
If it was a thermal label do not put tape over it, the ink will disappear. When I first got my label printer, I taped over my labels.. took them to the post office and they couldn't scan them because all the ink disappeared. The label was blank and all white. I was happy I didn't just drop them off because I would of never checked.
@@nicolegardner1643really? Wow! I use the rollo thermal labels. 😭😭 I guess it depends. I should try it out with these new uline ones just to experiment. Thanks for your comment. 🩷🩷
The same thing happened to me two weeks ago with my Rollo printer labels. It had only been approx 30 minutes ago that I taped over the tracking bar code on the label. When I got to the post office, it was gone!
What do you mean your post office doesn't offer you receipts? You're paying for their services and if you want proof that something has been sent, it's their job to provide it. I use a lot of different USPS offices, depending on where I am on a specific day and I've never had that problem. How rude!
I’m big on washing stuff before shipping out but I agree Dry cleaning is expensive so with pieces like that I’ll steam them real well as well as use disinfect spray on the item. If it’s dirty enough to need actual dry cleaning I’d lower to price to factor that in for the buyers responsibility
I always tape the label so it's sealed! New to clothing sales .. Do you dry clean your items before selling or no? I know that would cut into the profit.
Just want to give you some words of encouragement that you can decide to take or leave. You work so hard and you could be making more money for your effort. That Anthro dress, you have every right to price high. It will sell and fast. If not, you can always lower it. But a $20 profit on a $20 investment is hard. I have a bunch of tactics to maximizing profit. One of my learnings is that even people who really want the item will fish to see if they can get it for less - eventhough they are planning to buy it no matter what. It does not mean that they won't buy it if you stick to your full asking price. That Anthro dress could have been priced at $120 - that's where I would have put such an amazing piece. That same buyer probably would have offered you $80 or so. (People offer you based on your asking price most of the time so you're the one who sets the negotiating bar.) I then would have privately messaged her and said that it was just listed and that the best I could do is $110. That "we" priced it where we know it will sell for the full asking amount. But we're happy to circle back in a month if it's still in stock. - Just sold Eileen Fisher pants NWT I had priced at $95 - let the person have them for $82 using that exact same tactic. Those pants had been listed for less than 24 hours. But it works with items that have been listed for longer as well. I've had buyers say "ok, can you resend me your last offer?"
You absolutely can. You can be banned for using bots as well. Poshers who break the rules and use bots have ruined the playing field for smaller sellers.
Find a UPS store and they will give you package receipts as long as they take USPS packages - many do.
your items are so good if you crosslisted i bet your sales would more than double. I sell 4x on ebay what i sell on posh

I use plastic also.
I love that you are starting to get sassy about your post office now! 😂 As you rightfully should. Awesome sales! Love the Vivienne Tam skirt.

I love that you speak in Poshmark titles! lol I do the same thing and you have definitely helped me with keywords!

Yes! I love your ship with me videos! Thank you. Awesome sales.
I wear Eileen Fisher quite a bit and am always shocked by what resellers ask for it on Poshmark.
I also sold a vivienne tam maxi skirt in 5 minutes! lol
I love your videos! It’s so helpful to see styles & brands that sell well for you. That purse was so gorgeous & unique!
You find the best things at your bins! Wish I did at mine, there are no accessories or shoes there! :(

That’s so odd…I’m wondering if it’s the tape or label bc I’ve done this for years and never had an issue.

Thank you.Learn from you so much and do you have a video about how you got started in Reselling ? I would love that
I wish you would show the clothing labels and also show your listed photos. Thank you for your video
I added pictures of the tags into the next ship with me :)
How do you handle 'dry clean only' items with or without tags before selling? Dry cleaning is expensive.
Great question

Great video. Good to see you. Love to see what sells.
I love all the items

How much did you sell the colorful silk scarf for?
How did you know at what price to list the red vintage maxi skirt?
Sweater at 21:27 is adorable!
Hi , May I know where you bought your envelopes? Thanks
Hi I have them linked in the description! They are free from USPS :)
i miss your videos
What editing program do you use to edit your UA-cam videos. I look at CapCut but I don’t like it.
Thanks
Great video as always!
Hola 😇 thank you very much for the information ❤blessings ❤️ 🙏

Good advice. That was a beautiful dress. I sometimes take offers that are too low also and then I get mad at myself.
That's great advice. I find that once I accept a low offer on something... I end up with several low offers.
Great Job😊
How do I find your posh ark closet. I am new to postmark. Thank you.
Follow the link in description
you still have not sold the grey color boots on your shelve
Don’t you run into copy infringement issues when you use stock photos without permission?
