And he's always said that singing makes him feel so vulnerable and exposed because there's nowhere to hide and he knows everyone's looking at him, and for him to do that whole bridge a capella, just his voice, all alone with nothing supporting him...that's pretty brave for him, for someone with his history of nerves and stage fright in general, not to mention the doubt over this song in particular.
Larki13 Now he needs to get braver and play it at their live shows but I bet he fears negative criticism. I don’t want them to be known as a party band because there’s more depth to them then just popular pop songs.

Joel Fárez Coronel i think unfortunately the killers slip under the radar because they are consistently good, they don’t do a whole lot of controversial stuff, they don’t have huge flops of songs, they don’t release shitty pop songs just to get on the countdown- they just consistently put out good stuff and be good people and people sort of forget about them. They’ve been my favourite band for over 10 years now and never disappointed, either musically or with their actions. They deserve to be much more popular than they are

I’m reminded of something Merle Haggard said about Glen Campbell (another vastly underrated musician)- “no human should be given that much talent.” Flowers is vastly underrated- and Killers are the best band bar none since U2 in their prime late 80s (IMO 😁)
