Thanks for the Video !! I found your video looking for info on inbloom smart garden. I Purchased one at a yard sale for $15 bucks and it was never opened can't beat it !.. I have a small and large AeroGarden's but I really like the size and design of the inbloom fits almost anywhere !

@@Jakereviewsall I have basil, cilantro, oregano, and chives. Everything is growing well except the chives, and there seems to be some mold on the dirt. Any tips?

Thanks for the watch! I use the MaxiGro from general hydroponics which I got off amazon a couple of years ago and it last quite a while. It will work for all plants and I use it for even my regular houseplants.

sorry I never saw this comment but I normally add plant food every 2 fillups or so or I do a little less every fill up.
Is using purified or reverse osmosis water the best to use with this system? Or how much TDS, PH, and EC ranges are recommended for optimal results? What do you do to monitor, prevent. and treat algae growth?
Good questions, I prefer to use some type of filtered water these days. I have a softener system and learned not long ago it was killing my plants slowly. I also use a distiller but depending how much water and electric cost it can be pricey too. As for algae growth I never had issues personally, the moving water helps a lot plus I empty and put fresh water at least once a month.
Do you know which replacement sponges and baskets can be used for this 10-pod inbloom from amazon?

Cant get light for either veg mode or flower mode to turn on. Tried everything - unplug, restart etc. Is it stuck in its own built in timer for 16 hours off?
Maybe contact them, mine still works fine and I never had an issue of not being able to change it.
Can any herb seed brand be used in this system?
You can use any seed you want, this was just the brand I chose to purchase.
I just set up my InBloom. Did you turn on the light immediately or wait until the seedlings started coming up? Did you run the pump immediately or wait?
The instructions say that the light can cause mold before the seedlings start growing. So I’m not sure if I should turn on the pump or the veg light. What is your advice? I emailed to the address on the instructions but have not heard back regarding that question. Thank you for your video.
I always run the lights and I run my lights longer than most even recommend and some of my grow lights even go 24/7. I also always have pumps running, this helps the water keep circulated and stuff.

How do you connect the wires?
If you are facing it then under the light you plug the power into the left side and then the wire from the base goes on the right side of the light.
Ok you skipped where and how to put the water in. And do you put the seeds in the sponge hole or just drop them in the hole wherever?
There is a hole for the water at the top on the right side that does not get a sponge. The seeds are placed in the hole of the sponge.
What is the appropriate temperature for indoor cultivation using this device?
No idea, i keep my house at 70 all year.

Does 1L of water get 5 ml from bottle A *AND* B or does 5ml from A go in 1 L and 5ml from B in a *separate* 1L?
OR... another interpretation: do we mix the two provided bottles of plant food and then add 5 ml /L of each directly to the machine?
add both A and B to the 1 L of water, once used up I would recommend the maxi gro fertilizer, I use it for everything.

One more question: I'm assuming this is added from the mixing bottle directly to the tank? So it's the 5-pod version, with a 2 L reservoir, meaning 2 calculus of each directly into the water supply?
