It's shown in comics that a big flaw is he has to have his wrist and hand in right position bc they'll go through then on the way to come out, the actual length of his claws goes past his wrist and if you bend his palm back, you can slice his own hand against them.
As a martial artist, a rarely feel like wolverine is seen using his claws in the manner in which they would be the most efficient. I feel like a centuries old warrior who fights ninjas should have some real visceral tricks up his sleeves.

@@polishherowitoldpilecki5521he doesn’t the poisoning just made his healing factor weaker didn’t really hinder him since the trade of for slightly weaker healing for invincible claws is better than regular bone claws for top tier healing
@@tompotter8703 It annoys me when people like you spout off about stuff you don't know. When you "get used to" pain it's not because your brain is adapting. It's because each time you damage something like a muscle, your body repairs that part and puts a layer of scar tissue over it, which in turn hardens that part. Logan doesn't have scar tissue. His body replaces the damaged portions almost immediately. There is no scar tissue. There is no hardening of muscles or bones. His body effectively resets itself constantly which in turn does keep him young, but he's still experiencing every pain as if it were new.
Another problem is the impact on the wrist and tendons. Three blades have a lot more resistance and they are quite long levers. A single blade rotated 90° would be infinitely better and would be far more stable. So, Assassin's Creed had the better idea...
Fun fact it’s actually stated that Wolverine’s healing factor is actually quite weaker than it was originally was because a solid chunk of it is dedicated to fighting adamantium poisoning.
It honestly doesn’t make sense tho. If the adamantium is indestructible how does it poison him? That would have to mean little bits of the metal are breaking off into his blood stream.
@@Solznmid they aren't really indestructible so i think it might be that the adamantium gets into his bloodstream while he's fighting absolute powerhouses like Hulk and Apocalypse

And it doesn't need to have tiny bits floating around, it just needs to react with something either in his blood or bones since his entire skeleton is coated. Even if it doesn't, his immune system could still see it as a threat and try to reject it.
IIRC, it also prevents his mutant abilities from their natural growth and causing him to grow more feral, since his healing factor is so overtaxed fighting off adamantium poisoning. In a way, his adamantium skeleton is what allows him to hold on to his humanity.
Adamantium can only be forged once according to the comics and once cooled will retain its strength and durability. Wolverine also had a secondary mutation after he came back from the dead that allowed him to heat his claws almost white hot.
@@zakkmylde1712 I rarely hear the fact that adamantium blades are very resistant to heat, sure they get hyped up as virtually indestructible but that's in their normal state, When a metal is in its heating point and further it could be altered or even split or it's met with something of that heating point. V-sauce did a video years ago that described Laura claw as being better for combat simply because all her force is being directed into one blade instead of three. So she has an easier time cutting
See that would be true if adamantium blades didn't instantly cut through everything. It doesn't matter how much force you apply as long as you have correct edge alignment.
Tell this to a Lion, Tiger or bear. Each of whom, which have 5 claws on each hand, and could literally tear you to pieces using atleast four of them each slash. Yeah, the cutting power is lessened so much.
@@Markbell73You're ignoring the fact that all three of those are insanely strong compared to a human, and weigh anywhere from 300 to a little over 1,200 pounds. Some bears going up to 1,500. @@kano8 and you are ignoring the fect that Wolverine also has super human strength. Atleast equivalent to a tiger or bear, if not more. Hence why I made the comment I did.
@Markbell73 he has super human strength, but due to the metal in his body, it's heavy, and he can't fully use that strength. Sense the metal was put in him, his strength went from super human, to that of worlds strong men.
@@kano8he can though wolverine is literally the same size as the animals listed,if not more…on top of that’s he’s also really fast meaning he definitely has above human strength, probably just not to a crazy extent like spider man of course. I’m pretty sure all that combined is what makes him so dangerous
Don’t forget that whenever he lets his claws out he has to rip his knuckles open every time due to the healing factor. Same for putting his claws back away, they would have to stab through his forearms to go back in
Con: because of his healing factor, he’s stabbing himself six times every time he extends them, since his skin closes around the hole each time they retract, causing a lot of pain on a sensitive body part.
Another Con that people don't talk about Wolverine actually has super strength ( More like excessively above average) but because his entire body and arms are so heavy he can't hit at full force
wouldn’t that help him hit harder? the guy can obviously throw punches and run around. Putting a lot of weight on him would help. it’d be like lead boxing gloves
@@jestawell for this exact reason is why his punches don't hit as hard. Just like in real life boxing gloves are used to cushion their blows and weight down the users arms. A punch is as strong as the amount of force u put behind it. Quite literally F=MxA in order for him to produce more or equal force with heavier arms he would need to be punching faster than he can normally..which he can't therefore this would be a equal amount of force to less force in most cases.
Also what you reveal and retract them it will hurt a lot and more without the healing factor Like Logan said while being asked if it hurts “every time”
More cons! They’re short. Due to them coming out in only 1 place, you can really maneuver them all too well. Stabbing with 3 points that close can sometimes lead to you not being able to push in. It’s like laying on a bed of nails VS laying on 1 nail.
Also, sometimes, they get stuck when ejecting, so you'd have to pull them out manually. And, if your forearms and wrists aren't aligned, they could pop out of your wrist/lower palm
Con: because there are 3 claws, the force is distributed over a larger surface area, so when you strike, you will leave three shallow marks compared to someone with only one blade, who will leave one deep cut
One huge con that actually applies to logan too (or atleast logically it should) if his hand is even slightly bent while pushing out the claws, instead of coming from between his knuckles, they come from his palm or the back of his hand, which is cant even begin to imagine how much it would hurt. Same goes for retracting too, just in reverse
I know they’re not super similar but it’d be cool if you covered TMNT Shredder’s claws. It’d be cool to see the pros and cons of them and then compare them against Logan’s
One more thing Every time the knifes come out, his skin and bones are actually breaking but healing at the same time. So every time it actually hurts him
Also, the claws are stored in his forearms. To extend them, they cut through his arm and between his knuckles. When he retracts them, he heals the cuts
With the thing you said at the end about the blood and germs, the healing factor would cancel that out, since it saves him from diseases and such other things
about con number 2. logans healing factor would technicly heal the skin around your claws the second you use them so it would tecnicly block out all blood and germs, and even if it didn't his healing factor comes to the rescue again and just out heals it.
con: whenever logan takes out his claws, he rips through his skin, the same goes for retracting because his healing factor heals the flesh that was destroyed so his claws have to go back through his already healed skin
Something I also noticed, since there’s no guard between the blades, if a sword gets caught in between the blades you can keep pressing the sword further between them. It will definitely deal good damage to your hands since it’ll also be difficult to get the blade out of the claws.
Thanks UltraRow for putting my comment in the post, even though I got 28% people picked that idea and the 48% picked samur die Jack, I am still i put up my comment there. Thank you Ultra for this, keep on pushing through and break the heavens and keep up the good work btw ❤
I just like the idea of a cut scene in a movie where Logan is talking and pulls out a nail filler and sharpens his nails during a conversation in preparation for a fight
Another con which was in a comedic sketch video is if you don't have a healing factor, the claw will hurt every single time they pop out. Even wolverine said this in the first x-men movie when he met rogue

Logan didn’t start off with those claws, originally they are actually bone.
Also, the claws are stored in his forearms. To extend them, they cut through his arm and between his knuckles. When he retracts them, he heals the cuts
Fun Fact Adamantium is holding Wolverine back. His Bone Claws are way more powerful.
With the thing you said at the end about the blood and germs, the healing factor would cancel that out, since it saves him from diseases and such other things
😲🙌🏾 Holy crap I never knew how much we needed an Asian variant of Logan somewhere in the i universe 👍🏾👍🏾
Whoa those blades were looked like Baraka’s arm blades and Freddy Krueger’s knife fingers to see.
" You should run fast " ☠️☠️
about con number 2. logans healing factor would technicly heal the skin around your claws the second you use them so it would tecnicly block out all blood and germs, and even if it didn't his healing factor comes to the rescue again and just out heals it.
Did you not shave just for this wolverine video 😂 👏🏾
con: whenever logan takes out his claws, he rips through his skin, the same goes for retracting because his healing factor heals the flesh that was destroyed so his claws have to go back through his already healed skin
He has to keep his wrist straight to make the claws pop out normally. There was a comic where they popped out different cause his wrist was bent
Something I also noticed, since there’s no guard between the blades, if a sword gets caught in between the blades you can keep pressing the sword further between them. It will definitely deal good damage to your hands since it’ll also be difficult to get the blade out of the claws.
These are perfect Weapons for both Wolverines
Thanks UltraRow for putting my comment in the post, even though I got 28% people picked that idea and the 48% picked samur die Jack, I am still i put up my comment there. Thank you Ultra for this, keep on pushing through and break the heavens and keep up the good work btw ❤
Wolverine will never be able to walk past a metal detector without questioning
Oh no no Logan is being constantly poisoned by his adamantium skeleton. That's why he doesn't look like Sabertooth.
I just like the idea of a cut scene in a movie where Logan is talking and pulls out a nail filler and sharpens his nails during a conversation in preparation for a fight
Real life Logan has 7 different bloodborne illnesses and heavy metal poisoning 😂
Don't let wolverine vs baraka be a thing 😭🙏
Another con which was in a comedic sketch video is if you don't have a healing factor, the claw will hurt every single time they pop out. Even wolverine said this in the first x-men movie when he met rogue
“If a guy comes at you with one blade you should run. With six?! Holy cow, you should run faster.”
Imagine wolverine sharpening his blades one by one every tuesday
Real life Logan has it rough 🥺
