Yeah, there’s still a LITTLE suspense, up until we figure out the second person’s encounter. But doing it your way would create suspense all the way until the person says pass or skip.
one editing structure change I would recommend for this is to show the non deciding players encounter first. So it's more fun to watch if the other one is gonna skip it or not. Makes it more fun imo

How about a challenge where you catch maybe 9 mid-stage evolutions. Then you choose a team of 6 where two of them can be evolved further, two have to be de-evolved to stage one and two are kept as mid evolutions.
Idea for choose your starter challenge. You get 3 starters and add an extra fake one. If the other chooses your fake you get to decide the starter.

I really like this format. Maybe it would be fun to introduce a third option with "Trade"? So that the Pokemon of you two are swapped? Would be good for getting rid of rubbish.

That would be good instead of skip. Essentially now its, find 6 encounters, 4 skips (until last pokemon). With Trade there would be some interaction between players.

I liked this set up. If you want to add an extra twist you could each have one over rule. Where if the other tries to skip you can force them to keep
Challenge idea: You only get to know the first and last move in the Pokemon's learnset. Then you choose to take it or skip it.

Challenge idea: You guys spin the wheel to decide on a Pokémon type legendary, ultra beast, starter, etc. Then you guys have a few minute timer to find the best one possible, but you need to make sure you get one before time runs out so you may have to get one you don’t like.
You guys should do a randomized battle on Showdown. They give you random fully evolved Pokemon with their competitive movesets and items. You could make it a best of 3 taking turns to pick the generation since you can choose from gen 1-gen 9 meta, and it'd fill out the runtime since there's no team building. I think that'd be a fun video idea

Oh awesome this rule, and the time travel encounters you both did one time, are my favourites. Love it but probably would've preferred the encounters being live-on-call together so that we get to hear immediate reactions though

*"The Generational Showdown"*
Quick gg and Chillin each randomly select a starter Pokémon from a different generation (e.g., Quick gg gets Bulbasaur from Gen 1, while Chillin gets Tepig from Gen 5).
They must build their teams around their respective starters, with a twist:
- Each team member must be from a different generation
- No duplicates allowed (no two Pokémon from the same generation).

Still hoping you do a solo evolution challenge, only one-stage evolution pokemon, no legends, mythicals or Ultra Beasts. I did a Nuzlocke of that grouping and its insane how many powerful pokemon are in that group.

The craziest thing about that challenge is that you were both on the same wavelength despite minimal communication.
Battle Idea:
Do a double battle just like this, where both players engage in a battle at the same time. The rules are as follows:
- the pokemon are linked and will go to the same team.
- players will take turns just like in this video. The turn player will get to know the information that the pokemon in their game has, such as abilities and moves, but not the information from the other person's file except for which pokemon it is.
- both players have 1 skip and 1 give. The skip allows you to skip that pair of Pokémon, while the give allows you to give that pair to your opponent if you get a really bad pair.
- all pokemon are fully evolved and the battle will be a double battle, so that any double battle moves or abilities will be useful.
The gong sound effect was amazing lol

@m.hpf.1294 they could catch all 8 encounters first. Than there is different ways to make the rest of the challenge work. Example they could both skip two right away or making skipping be the last thing before the fight.
This challenge idea is very intriguing.

Loved the video. I have a cool video idea which I would love to watch. Both of you must encounter pokemons at the same time while still interacting with one another but will not be allowed to see each other's screen. Then each of you can skip two encounters and find out who is the best at playing mind games.

Challenge idea: Let's call this one 🌈 "rainbow wheel" 🌈 - each of you spins a wheel that contains every color. Whatever the color is, determines your next catch. So purple could be a Gengar or an Ekans, for example, and so on

I like the idea of secret rules. Maybe the next one could be picked by a random wheel and added on after the teams are made. Like maybe the teams get swapped or pokemons types get randomized

u guys should do 1 where the other person catches a pokemon that has a strong type against the previous person's catch, should theoretically have even team, but not taking into account the 2nd typing can make it go either way still :D
Challenge idea: (may be a longer video) you each catch 12 random Pokémon then create an A team and a B team then you both choose a team to battle with first. Then you have a second match with your other team. If you guys split wins then the tie breaker is your winning teams face off. Could be a multiple video idea but I think that would be very entertaining.

Battle idea:
You can catch 9 pokemon with 3 skips, but you can only catch 1st stage baby or single stage pokemon. No legendaries, mythicals, or ultra beasts allowed. Once you have your team locked in, look at your party and roll a 6 sided die 3 times, and whichever numbers comes up are the pokemon that you can fully evolve. If you roll a single stage pokemon or roll the same number multiple times, then those rolls are wasted.

Idea for a vs-challenge:
You do random starters and tell the other person the names of these 3 choices in a different language like german, japanese, french, or whatever and the other person then has to pick one of these. He then has to decide if he wants to keep it, skip it, or add it to the other persons team. Every pokemon will be fully evolved.
I'd suggest 3 skips, 3 "presents" and 3 pokemon you can take. :)

Double teaming baton pass was such a missed opportunity
Challenge Idea that they use in the Madden and NHL community. Keep or Swap. You guys encounter random Pokemon at the same time while on a discord call with each other. You alternate turns each encounter choosing whether you want to keep that Pokemon or swap with what the other got. The Pokemon the other got is a mystery but you both can deceive to throw each other off, like act like you're happy with the Pokemon but it's just a caterpie to get them to swap with you or act like it's a bad Pokemon when it's a legendary to get them to not swap or use various reverse psychology techniques or just not react at all. You would keep/swap that pokemon as is and not evolve to make it the most high risk.
That ditto had Intrepid Sword AND Sacred Sword... Then Chillin Soul Linked it with AEGISLASH 🤧🤧 It was the Chosen One fr

Idea for a challenge: spin a wheel for a type. Instead of picking a Pokémon of that type you get the first encounter of a Pokémon that has a type super effective to that type.
Example: You land on water, so you pick the first electric or grass type you encounter.
Figured it’s just something a little different that I haven’t seen from these two or other poketubers yet
imagine if they didn't skip Latios and Necrozma and Chillin tried throwing Latios with imposter out against Necrozma with neutralizing gas, that would've been hilarious
Another fun idea if you do this again in the future: if you stay in call and try to use mind games to influence your buddy to either skip or keep.
I haven't seen any Challenges which Involves using *Items* so here is one, The Pokemon Item Challenge;
You capture random Pokemon in the Grass, then you roll a Wheel with an assortment of different Items, they could be things from Berries like Sitrus Berry or items like Choice Scarf. Regardless, that item you spun is put on that captured Pokemon, then you'll have to decide whether to Take It or Skip It. Choosing to Take It keeps the Pokemon and the item, Choosing to Skip It loses both the Pokemon and the item, but the extra twist is that the Item in question is also removed from your individual Wheel and unto any future pokemon you would catch.
You each can Skip up to 4 times, and the items that are put on the Pokemon are kept *Secret* between you guys. So no telling!
Here is an idea. You both catch your 1st pokemon from random grass encounter. Than catch any fully evolved pokemon that starts with the last letter of the random encounter, then next one with the last letter of previous one. Catch up to 10 and make a team of six. But with a twist, you don't know the moveset until the battle begins.
Sick idea, it's just open a loop hole to so many new modes
I loved this video. Please do something like in scarlet and violet. Maybe to add more suspense do union room and wait until both of have caught a pokemon because announcing if you're skipping or not.

I thought of an idea for You guys. It’s a bit of work so bare with me.
You get a list of all moves in sword and shield. Then randomly select a move from that list. Then using that move, create a list of Pokémon that can use/learn that move. Then randomly select a Pokémon from that list. All the way to finishing your team with that process. 3 skips.
For extra flare, the random move selected is one of your 4 move slots.
& Of course random 3 other moves and abilities
Do the same kind of idea but you choose from starters, like if quick takes the left Pokémon on his set of three you would do it on yours and take turns going back and fourth, it would be cool to see what both of you miss out of the set of 3 on your end
Idea, mono weakness, yall randomly encounter a pokemon, then yall pick one of its weaknesses, and have to catch 5 more pokemon with that weakness

Suggestion: maybe you could do the same challenge but instead of skipping you decide to simultaneously trade, and only 2 trades allowed, something like that.
Idea:
Catch 12 random encountes for the enemy:
you decide for the oppenent: 3 which he has to pick, 3 which he is not allowed to pick, and among 6 Pokemon left he has to choose 3.
Challenge idea: each gets encounter don’t look at moves or ability and need to spin wheel and see which of you gets the mon and continue till each have 6 Pokémon and allowed to debate how many skips y’all get. Also love all the content with the Pokémon I love y’all’s attitudes even when team when plan or mon don’t end up what you like keep it up
