Dancer *does* work, it copies moves like dragon dance or quiver dance immediately after an opponent uses them

@@timeterrificyc1079 I've seen it work for others. It's possible that they have a different randomizer, but it seems unlikely that it doesn't work, and seems more likely that they don't get many opportunities to see it actually do anything

You can actually check your stat changes by pressing Y on the fight screen, along with other things like screens or interferences
there is a way you can track all the stat increases and decreases during the match. when you are sitting on the main fight screen, click Y and it tells you match info including stat changes, terrains, and even how much longer there is for moves that have durations
Ok the Arcanine using pyro ball animation is so funny tbh like it's literally a doggo playing fetch and it should probably get pyro ball anyway for that reason lol
2:28 Dancer should work as far as I know, but it only interacts with 10 moves in Gen 8 (Gen 9 has Victory Dance and Aqua Step as well): Clangorous Soul, Dragon Dance, Feather Dance, Fiery Dance, Lunar Dance, Petal Dance, Revelation Dance, Quiver Dance, Swords Dance and Teeter Dance. Rain Dance is NOT one of the moves because it would fail if you tried to double set it, and also the Japanese name translates to "rain prayer" instead.
There's a lot more details, but for all the niche specifics I recommend reading the Bulbapedia article on it!

Challenge idea!
Who's that pokemon challenge
-Find a random encounter
-other person has 3-5 questions to guess "who's that pokemon"
-if they are right, they can choose to keep or skip
-if they are wrong, the other person chooses for them
Repeat till you have a full team !!
i remember thinking this ferrothorn will be such an amazing counter to gengar and i'm amazed it wasn't used before losing all the other mons, like... even beehyem was sent before him when he was set to die

Twice in this video y'all reference wanting to know your pokemon's stat changes, even wishing for a counter that tells you.
Do ya'll not know there IS one? You can check all stat changes, weather effects, screens, etc. all effects and everything in battle by clicking "Y info" that pops up on the right side of the screen. It quite literally tells you all of the ongoing information you need to know. How have ya'll been playing this whole time without that? 😅 I couldn't even imagine trying to battle without it.
Beat Up uses the Attack stat of every living Pokémon in the Users Team, so you get difference damage numbers

In these types of videos you guys should be able to do one of these thing's to different pokemon on your team. Nature change/ ability capsule. 1 tm or egg move. And 1 Pokémon can hold a item. This would allow you to fix a physical attacker with a -attack nature, or get rid of something like slow start. 1 tm or egg move could take what should have been a good Pokémon that got completely trash moves back into something useful. And 1 item could make use of a ability like harvest, make a super speed heavy hitter with a choice scarf, or save a glass cannon with a focus sash. But again you cant just stack all these perks on 1 op Pokémon, you can only use one perk on different Pokémon. This would make the battles alot more fun as you would need to try and guess what Pokémon they would use these perks on.

If i had a nickel for everytime a pokedex entry had from its rear I'd have two nickels. Which I'll admit isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
For each strike, Beat ups power is based around the attack stat of the Pokemon in your party. So each strike should do different damage, strike 1 based on Pokemon in the first slot, Strike 2 based on the Pokemon in the second slot, etc
Valiant effort, but if these two ever once read comments detailing how moves work, they would.... probably actually know how the moves work. It's kind of funnier when they don't know how the moves work anyway. Ultimately the reason quickgg and chilln are fun to watch is because they're *not* competitive, they're content creators. Every pokemon youtuber you have ever seen will try to show off expansive knowledge applied with strategic plays, but the beauty of these randomizers and challenges, what really sets them apart is the goldfish brain moments. It's actually far more entertaining than just seeing them do everything correctly, and it's one of the reasons I truly adore their videos.

@@darby2314 outside of sweeper lead flinch cheese with king’s rock, pretty much. Weavile was decent for that until triple axel just became a way better option for it. I guess it would be okay on Pokémon so defensive they do barely any damage in the first place, but it’s still pretty bad
Should do an auction video. You each start with a certain amount of “money” randomized encounter and you bid for the Pokémon. Highest bid wins, gotta budget carefully!
The man and the chicken cross the river, (the fox and corn are safe together), he leaves the chicken on the other side and goes back across.
The man then takes the fox across the river, and since he can't leave the fox and chicken together, he brings the chicken back.
Again, since the chicken and corn can't be left together, he leaves the chicken and he takes the corn across and leaves it with the fox.
He then returns to pick up the chicken and heads across the river one last time.
I love the play along addition!! I used to cover the screen with my hand before this 😂😂. Keep the good work guys
FYI I'm pretty sure you can see stat boosts during the battle, before you select fight there's an option to see the pokemon's information (it's either + or y). Now I'm not sure if that only works for your own pokemon or the opponent's as well, but you can also see how many turns of reflect, weather, etc remain. 😊

I think it is a fox, a chicken and then something a chicken would eat, but not a fox. And the riddle is "you're travelling with a fox, a chicken and a bag of chicken feed, when you come upon a river. There is a boat on the riverbank and you can only cross with one of your three companions at a time. How can you get all three over the river without anyone getting eaten?" The answer isn't really intuitive, but once you realize you can bring stuff back across, it solves itself
Just a thought on batteries for Magnemite... One in each magnet on the side of its body? Align the poles of the batteries to the poles of the magnets? Or I don't f---ing know, it's pokemon, you probably just feed it the batteries.

Squirtle- turtle Pokémon
Skitty- cat Pokémon
Ryhorn- Rhino Pokémon
Pigeot- bird Pokémon
Deoxys- human Pokémon
Vanillite- dessert pokemon
Garbador- waste Pokémon
There’s some like manaphy and Jirachi that aren’t really based if animals, so have fun with those.
All fully evolved and 3 skips available since this is to broad of a challenge
I know you guys don't do held items. But you should at least include Berry's for abilities like cheek pouch etc. As well as some moves that involve items.

28:00 chillen there’s an in game tracker that tracks changes to stats and status. Before you click attack, I you press Y (or X one of the two) and then click which Pokémon u want to see, it’ll show up stay changes

Please Read this Video Idea:
You two should make your own Pokedex entries or descriptions of Pokémon you guys would catch them from random encounters.
Catch 18 Pokémon and allow up to 6 skips for this challenge.
Once done, you will go back to the box and base your strategy off of what the caught Mons entries are.
You guys can take your time to make these pseudo-entries or quickly make entries on the spot to do this faster; there should be no need because you guys have the power of editing. I think this would be a good challenge deciphering what Mon is what.
An example of this would be Skuntanks entry being: "From its rear, it sprays a foul-smelling liquid at opponents. It aims for their faces, and it can hit them from over 16 feet away."
That's an easy Dex entry that could be manipulated for a Weezing or Garbador, etc. The reasoning is that one could say Skuntanks entry is like a Weezing since it sprays foul-smelling odors and may even come from the rear because it has holes everywhere that release the odors; the same could be said about Garbador because who knows where the odors come from.
You don't have to be exact, like saying it sprays from 16 feet away, or you could leave it in the pseudo-entry to help the confusion. This would cause one of or both of you to be unsure whether or not it's a Skuntank or something with similar attributes. You can use that to your advantage, obviously, to throw one another off.
I would find it fun and interesting to see how you would describe other Mon in a similar fashion. Also, to see how creative you both could be, and to see how well each of you would do on figuring out what Mon is what.
I know this may seem like a lot, but it's not, and it only seems like a lot because I'm writing a detailed description of this challenge idea. 😁

The riddle is you are trying to cross a river with a chicken, a fox and a bag of grain. You only have room in your boat for one of them, if left alone with the grain the chicken will eat the grain and the fox will eat the chicken if they are left alone. How do you cross the river without losing your cargo?
