    Some of my favorite vehicles I have ever reviewed are the unexpected. The vehicles that would make you feel embarrassed if you lost a race. This Dodge Ram Cummins turbo diesel was left to rot in an open field and was resurrected into a 1000HP monster. It can tow anything, it can race anything, and has a hilarious presence. Jamie brings this truck to tow competitions and then the drag strip. It seems like it can do just about anything. So what's it like driving 1500 ft. pounds of torque? Let's find out. Thanks for watching and new uploads every Tuesday,Thursday, and Saturday!

    "100% not supposed to live" dude, Cummins never die😂I found an 89 sitting in the woods, no axels, body completely gone, hadn't ran since 98 (this takes place in 2018), I change the fuel, oil, and batteries and it started on its 3rd try, engine is now sitting in my 94 Chevy 1 ton making 400ish hp and I've had no problems other that with the trans losing 5th gear.

    • @Jhubes5.9
      @Jhubes5.9 4 роки тому +18

      Ah, the notorious disappearing 5th gear in the nv4500. Had that happen in my 94 running compounds doing a couple pulls. The inner teeth on the synchro clutch cone stripped on the shaft

    • @Jhubes5.9
      @Jhubes5.9 3 роки тому

      Aidan callen I’ve never personally done anything with that transmission but from what I’ve heard is It's a triple shaft, large transmission, and it takes a VERY large puller and press to get the bearing off the main shaft. The syncros also wear on the gear itself so it's likely you may need a gear if the syncro is bad

      Credit Card Debt no see the issue is the tune is crap, it’s dumping fuck tons of fuel all the time. So it’s wrong. It should inject the right amount of fuel for that air coming in. Not max fuel 100% of the time when your just putting around without the turbo even spooled.

    • @MechanicalMafioso
      @MechanicalMafioso 4 роки тому +8

      Credit Card Debt exactly what fish find said, the beauty of a common rail w/electronic injectors is its like normal fuel injection. You can tune out the smoke, even on an old P-pumped Cummins if springs and all are tuned right there will be very little smoke.
