I just want to send out a big Thank You to all your subscribers that voted for Brian's video and made it possible for us to get such a wonderful gift! The truck runs perfectly and tows beautifully. Thanks also to Todd, Will and the gang who worked so hard to make sure that everything was done safely and efficiently for our needs and fun too!
The look on that guys face when he floored it made everything worth it
Time stamp?

This guy looks like cleetus dad
Lol
@@pddofficial collab on that Galaxy?!
@@swissroll71 Sorry, I meant video collab!
"Hellll yeah bruthr"
That is so true hahaha I knew he looked familiar
That was terrific to watch. The test drive at the end was the best part. Thanks for going the extra mile and doing the little things that weren’t required like the rear main seal and the oil change. Good stuff.
Wow $9000 with the transmission this boys must be happy they won congratulations to them
Wow! Way to be honest. Could have pulled some youtube foolery and convinced us there was no dyno issues. Thanks for the realness of what you deal with every day. Great build!
One of my favorite channels, thanks for brightening my day.
We also added power driven diesel tires to get plenty of traction along with the power driven windshield wipers so he could see the best
You forgot the power driven lug nuts and also the power driven wiper fluid.
What was the name of their company again? I forget.
He was like a kid in a candy store when he got in the driver seat lol. AWESOME!!!
Hell yes! I loved the video! Ive been asking for this video! Thank you guys! I have a 2003 Ho 59 in a crewcab dually. Thanks again!
I’m happy for the guy that won, but I am so jealous. I love the power, but I would be just as excited about the transmission upgrades.
it's so cool you guys included the supporting mods to make sure these guys had a reliable truck for years to come. Loved this vid!
Love your videos Very entertaining. I like that you give back to your viewers like this.
That's awesome! Not only the power but it's so cool to see the enjoyment on his face when he gave it some throttle
Been waiting for a while for this video and did not disappoint..!!!
Thanks guys
Pdd you guys are badass and such down to earth folks
I love watching this videos. Keep up the great work yall.
Love it,gonna look into this package for sure, when you can drive it on the street and drag race on the weekend, Hell yea
You guys are awesome. I love that you included all the technical specs and explained the pulse width. The look on his face when he floored it was priceless. Keep up the good work. We're rooting for you.
Great job gentlemen ! What fortunate guys to be able to have you upgrade their truck. 👍
That final scene of it smoking down the road like a bomb ... was epic.
Wish I could have won! Congrats to the winner!
Definitely need to do another double your power video loved it with the 5.9 of course!
Awesome video guys!! I love how you didn't cut any corners anywhere
What a great system! My 2007 5.9L wants this kit!
Tons of power, reliable, who needs a new truck when u can mod yours like this. That was awesome.
You guys are awesome! I Love your channel. It's great you guys do this. Awesome videos I'm a power driven big fan Thanks guys for the video
More evidence why the crew at PDD is absolutely top notch. Went above and beyond for durability, quiet, comfort, and still made the number with room to spare. Great work PDD!
Another Awesome job guy's. Keep up the great work.
What great guys ! Coming to you from Vancouver Island Canada ..... was a treat ....
Amazing, reliable is where it's at. Great video
Now show us a recipe to do the same for a 6.7 in a third gen! I even smiled when the old guy floored it on the test drive! Great video!!
I have a 6.7 Cummins your free to upgrade it!!! Lol good video guys keep up the good work you guys are doing great!!
This is cool and something my brother might would do with his 06 mega cab. My 05 is a standard trans and runs fine stock. I've never had to down shift on a hill when I was pulling a trailer, but this was fun to watch.
I have a 05 I would love to do this package too!! You guys are awesome !
That was great, really interesting, and educational,....thanks!
That was awesome! Love the cummins! Had a dynoed 760 hp 03...
Such a great video with fantastic cut-in clips to keep the content fresh and retain the viewers attention. I’m glad this was the truck that won the contest. Father and son project. Truly American.
Question: What brand are the shop uniform shirts most of the guys wear? They look very professional. My company needs new shirts and I like these.
Really appreciate this video. It's ridiculous how much power you picked up on pretty much a stock truck with just a tune.
Great video, now I have my wishlist! Might have to piece it in though.
Sure would be nice to get to make that drive. I'm a 40 yr male with 01 5.9 2500 is my first pick up. Ready to turn her and see what this diesel life is all about. The twin turbo set ups blew my mind.
These seem like some real honest good guys
Good video .
Awesome guys ! You put a lot of nice parts on this truck 💪🏻👍🏻 this guy must be really happy 🙌🏻
OH, believe me, HE IS!!
Barbara Kimmitt awesome 😬👍🏻🤙🏻
Loved this video!! Subscribed.
It's very cool what you and your men do at PDD. Professional, customer oriented, and fellas that just really enjoy making diesel pick ups better than they were! If I ever get up that way I'd like to stop by
I’ve bought parts from them and their customer service is great and hassle free.
Every bolt and nut you installed was anti-seized. That’s quality right there
I'll have to keep my truck stock ,to much money when my truck runs great and has great fuel milage. I have a 2002 Dodge 2500. Love it just like it is.
Impressive for tunes! I got EFI live ( CCS Tuning out of Alberta ) on my 06, dyno showed 420hp/870tq on the max effort tune, with 4" straight exhaust and cold air.
Great video I tow a big toy hauler with 07 ram. The tow tunes really help with the egt's.
The only thing I would have done is gone to a 2 piece exhaust manifold. The stock one will eventually shrink and crack or break the bolts.
Thanx for some great ideas for my truck.
Man my Firewood hauling machine here in Oregon could sure use an overhaul my diesel brothers! Awesome video can't wait to see the next one!
Thanks 👍
Thanks for this information really helpful
great vid. Im subbed because of the science!
Fell asleep watching this last night what a great video
Glad you enjoyed
Wish I had those locking fasteners back on the 90s on my headers on my trucks, either had to change collector or flange gaskets every few months, no matter how many heat and cool down tightenings , or what kind of gaskets I used
Clean ol truck 👍
Great job guys I hope I can come see you at UCC next year.
I thought long and hard about submitting my 2007 5.9 for this contest, but after seeing Rod's reaction when he drove it, I'm glad I didn't...
You guys rock
Amazing hp increase and not loud.🇺🇸👍🏻
Double the hp of my 1st gen!! Lol great video guys!
@@pddofficial it is, it's just never enough!
My ‘06 mega cab with 70k is ready for these upgrades. 🤘🏼
Great Video!!!
Lots of questions I had regarding my 04.5 build answered... awesome video has me excited to see what this s369sex I got from you guys can do...
PowerDrivenDiesel that’s awesome! what’s the recommended injector size with that charger for a 8-900hp build with that charger over a stock?
Super Dave!
Hopefully to see some 3rd gen 6.7l info like this...keep up good work
You guy should do a 6.7 double your hp contest next
I have so much respect for you and your team's integrity ! Going the extra mile to insure this family will have a vehicle that is reliable and dependable under these new upgrades ! Many companies just throw tunes and fuel at them and they can't even make it a week before major repairs sadly . I will be contacting you for my upcoming 12 valve twinned tow pig fummins build !
Great video great job thank you for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
great video boys
I got a completely Stock 06 Mega Cab with 90k miles looks brand new! I’m only 14hrs away! I would totally love to get the double your Horsepower package installed by you guys.
Wow!!! This video was Awesome , only thing I wish you would've included is a ball park of how much spent to do these mods , price for you guys to do it , and price for a self reliant owner to do it there own self . Awesome and informative video 💯%
Excellent job guys! My 03 is jealous...for now.😉
I cant find any good tunes for my 03. Good as in cory willis good.
this is my goal I just bought a gen 3 big lifted badass and need to double the poer asap hahaha its going to be awhile before i can afford it but its my goal!! love your videos guys keep up the good work!!
Good luck!
Awesome video guys! What about a 6.7 common rail double the stock power? Something like a 2008-2009 even. Doesn't have to be a brand new shiny one... :D Once again, thanks for the awesome video!
I would really like to see a video like this for us old school guys that have VE pumped trucks. I'd like to throw my hat in to volunteer my truck to double it's horsepower!
@@pddofficial that should be easy for you guys. Turn that fuel screw in and go from 100hp to 200hp
@@pddofficial I live in Logan, I could be there in a few hours. Of course that's under the assumption my truck gets featured.
You should definitely do one of these double your horse power videos on a FIRST GEN 12valve
Turn your fuel up and remove fuel plate

Funny I was just reading an old thread of yours on comp D about large turbos with large turbines and small housing & ARs.. The thought process of a young todd .
What about the drive shaft and u joints? Or will they be OK with that hp?
Great video
I’m super jealous of my buddies new transmission! I can’t turn beast mode on, because I know what will happen!
Awesome! you guys really hook them up. 👍🏽 Do you guys recommend the same injectors for a 700hp goal? Thanks.
Thank you for this, it is exactly what I am aiming at with my 06 5.9.
Knowing that just increasing reliability and drive ability, by way of over the top injectors, turbo, trans, and a decent tune will net me 4 digits in tq where I want it and not lose (dare I say gain) reliability reassures me in my goals. Again. Thank you.
Aye I have an 06 5.9 too is yours a mega cab?
@@ryan-eric3336 I just picked up an early 07 Mega with a 5.9 I’m looking for more power 👍🏼
Just wondering how much that will cost I love to do that on my truck 2005 5.9
I have a 98 Ram Turbo diesel cummins 5.9 and would love to have it upgraded like this.. Wow!!!!
98 Ram 2500 turbo diesel cummins 5.9L
This was a fantastic episode, especially because this is almost the exact same truck as I have!!!.........now where is my credit card!
@@pddofficial Hahaha!!!!
I'm gonna have to do this when i get my 2003 3rd gen!!!!!!!
allot quicker video than watching greg a doing the springs and injectors. good video ( still like watching greg though)
Love the video! Can you recommend the best 5” 304 Stainless Exhaust for my 07 5.9 Cummins? The only thing I wish to avoid is cabin drone. Thanks for your time.
Awesome video!
No concern of the intercooler failing with the new turbo?
Awesome!!!
🔥🔥badass
Finally I’ve been waiting for this video for it feels like months! Was curious what way you were going to find the power!
Great job, awesome to see you giving back to the fans. What was the mileage on the truck,I have 150K on my 06 Mega?
I will love to set my truck on your shop and built my 05 dually for towing...
Great job! Impressive numbers for sure. Glad to see you addressed every aspect of doubling the power on it. What is the expected life span of the cp3 at those power levels? I know you said the bigger injectors actually help it out. I'll be ready to make a 6.7 video if that's next. Have an 08 that's stock too.
@@pddofficial that's for sure. Fuel filtration is key. My FASS was a great upgrade and I only buy fuel at the same few stations, new ones with clean storage tanks.
Great video! He wanna double my 97' dodge ram 2500 4x4 w/5.9 Cummins with only 47,000mi. I could truly use it it to tow my travel & flatbed trailers. My biggest problem is when towing, I lose power/speed on hills. This is my first diesel and am learning and want it reliable to do the towing, what it was bought to do! It's probably the lowest 97' 5.9 around I'd bet and would love to have it live up to it's true ability. SO if you wanna do another, let me know.
Would you recommend replacing the valve spring retainers when using the new valve springs?
I have the 3rd gen with NV5600 and I pull a lot of heavy loads, (no racing) I would like to see you do something based on torque upgrades that I can run on a slightly modified truck. Thanks!
Thanks for this awesome video guy's! I'm new to this whole Cummins 5.9 scene and I really like the body style of the 03 on up rams. But after comparing the "double your horsepower" packages, the pre 03 starts around $900 and post 02 starts around $8,000 ?!! It would seem if budget is an issue I should probably "settle" for the pre 03 ?
Thanks!
I certainly like the results. I have to pass Colorado emissions and wonder if this would pass opacity. '03 Ram 2500 4x4.
This is cool how the owner's mind was blown
First of all, I enjoyed the video and respect the quality of your work.
My question is - what improvement in performance can be expected towing under real world driving conditions (60-80 mph)?
No one drives 90-100 mph to appreciate that kind of HP.
I tow a lot. For reliability, I don't want the timing advanced too far to avoid melting pistons.
Again, thanks for a great video!
