Thank you for all the research you do and knowing how to explain everything. It can be overwhelming trying to keep up with all the info on different species and varieties. You break it down in a helpful clear way. I appreciate it 🥰
Thanks! I frequently end up going down rabbit holes when researching things and occasionally I’m like, “Is anyone even going to care about hearing this random tidbit of info?” so nice to hear it’s appreciated 🥰
@@AlohaPlantLife absolutely appreciate it, its what separates you from other plant tubers ❤
Steve's leaves has the 3 kings for a VERY REASONABLE Price! I actually got one on sale for less than $20! It's beautiful
Great list Drea!
I'm on the same mind as you re the Pink Princess and yes, I agree the the tricolor one is far prettier!
I'm very much a white/cream /shades of green variegation kind of girl, although I do love silver on my hoyas! I have a H. krohniana that is completely silver; its leaves look like they're made of shiny pewter. ❤️
That Hoya Wilbur Graves (the dark green/silver) is a beauty! That's definitely going on my wishlist!
My favorite is a variegated maranta leuconeura. I love it, just as easy as the green version
Another person commented about that maranta on a different video earlier too. Sounds like they’re becoming more readily available on the market which is great!
OMG - be still my heart!!! - that Alocasia. Wow! Thanks for sharing...🪴👏🏽🪴
I know, right?? She’s so stunning 😍
The Jacklyn is actually a Tandurusa. I have two of them, and they're CRAZY easy to care for as long as they're fed properly. I use Promix 12-6-6 at 1/3 strength. Not enough and you'll see leaf drop and pale green colour, too much and it will burn easily unlike most alocasias that want all the food. Highly recommend them, if you have any success with alocasia this one will be no problem.
So happy to hear this! Thanks for sharing💚
This has been on my wishlist and you just stopped me from hesitating so ty
If you're searching for a nice silver hoya, you should consider Hoya nicholsoniae 'New Guinea Ghost'. It's totally silver and even more stunning in person than on pictures 😍
Silver Mint coin and Nova Ghost are really pretty too.
Also I love Syngoniums but it can be hard to tell which one you have. Many nurseries and big box stores label plants wrong. Same with knowing the family of the plant but there are different genenus in that family.
From what I understand the pink princess tricolor is actually just a white princess. They are all capable of having random pink variagation but it's not frequent. I could be wrong. Maybe someone had cultivated it to have more pink now but people should be cautious about spending lots of money.
You’re correct, I actually called it a tricolor white princess in the video 💚
Cool. Thanks for the info. I love my Alocasia Jacklyn.
Thanks for sharing those beautiful plants, i love it
You’re welcome!
11:12 I actually think that this is a Dorayaki, because my Silver Blush does not have the round leaves.
Fun video, beautiful plants! Thoroughly enjoyable to watch. Many thanks! 👌🪴🥰
You’re welcome!
That Plumeria looks like a Ficus and I love it. I loved the Shivereana so I paid to much for a very tiny one. Yep, there's definitely 3 more going on my wishlist.
I have a cutting of the Hoya wilber graves China and it is a beautiful Hoya.
My wish list just got longer. Great video. I’m a fan!
Glad you liked it!💚
Fun video!
Thank you!
this video came up on my suggestions and I must say I couldn't be happier! so am now a new sub to your channel, I have to get the very first one, it reminds me of a longer leaf Brandi, and that Ficus I have been wanting one for about 3 years now, I'm in the states, but I still have to order most of my plants because I am in a very rural area, I have been seeing them start to pop up, so that's fun, and oh my goodness that tricolor Monstera D, wow oh wow how beautiful!!!
great video my new friend
Thank you!
Love to find one of those Ficus, and I'm in Canada , so hopefully I can, love it like you said with the variegation and the pink hue... also hadn't heard of the pinnatum marble you showed, which is also quite intriging....always new plants to add to the list , thanks for the video.
You’re welcome!
I can't believe you guys in the US are only now just getting the ficus elastica schirverna now. They've been in Australia for years and are super cheap and common. I have a big one under my patio.
I heard the miracle monstera is one of a kind and owned by one man who has been proping his mother plant but, so far has no plans to release them to the rest of the world.
All beautiful plants. I kinda feel like the monsters and philodendron with the multiple colors are a hot mess. They are pretty but just too much going on for me. Would love to get a three kings syngonium. Than for sharing your research.
Thank YOU, because you just triggered an idea for a new video in my brain 🤗
I feel the same way! I think some of those variegated philodendron and monsteras are pretty but no stability and that just turns me away from wanting to enjoy them.
When I see something that I like that is a cultivar or hybrid I automatically go digging for a patent. The patent process makes them prove uniqueness and stability.
@@maryburns6118 that’s why I always tell people to make sure they would be happy with how it looked if it fully reverted. That’s one reason I will never own a philodendron pink princess because I think they look absolutely horrible when they revert.
Variegated Chiapense has been on my wishlist for sometime, I never see them for sale though !
I recently bought a white princess with one leaf that has pink and white. Also there is 4 plants in the one pot 🤗
Score!
Is the price your first born male child??? LOL
All white princesses can get that variegation 😊
OMG so pretty....some dont looks real. Where did you purchase these beauties from???? Have a great holiday
I don’t actually own any of these yet, they’re all plants I’m considering adding to my plant wishlist, but most of them currently would probably have to be purchased from an online retailer depending on where you live (where I live only a few of these are available in local stores).
Epipreminum
?
I have a White Knight that I got about 5 months ago. It hasn't grown at all. Just sits there. I have not reported it. Looking at soil it looks like peat moss. Should I change the soil? I'm pretty much a newbie. Been really enjoying your channel!
I would definitely change the soil to something more suited to an epiphytic plant
Everytime I want to buy a new philodendron I ask myself is it better than my 'Jose Buono'. So I haven't bought any.
🤣💚
For some reason, I very much dislike the P. Orange Princess. It looks very ugly to me. I don't like the look of the A. Jacklyn and it gets too big for my taste. I really like most of the other plants in this video. I love the Anthurium 'Silver Blush' and have put it on my wishlist. The hoya Wilber Graves is already on my wishlist.
You showed a dorayaki, not a silver blush
It was a silver blush. There’s a lot of confusion between the two and honestly they look VERY similar especially when looking at a juvenile of one next to an adult of the other or vice versa. Both are beautiful though and I wouldn’t mind having a dorayaki either!
