    Soooo exciting!!! So we finally moved from apartment to our own house. We have a decent size backyard and it’s filled with wood chips and some part is cement. I’m soooo excited to start growing veggies there!!
    I remember last year I watched all tour videos and grew zucchini, jalapeño, herbs and carrot in pots. You were growing in your backyard and me in my patio. Now I have a backyard and you have a farm! What a good life!!! Thanks to god! 🙏🏼🙏🏼
    I’m not sure how to go about converting regular land into raised beds, I don’t have any tools. But I’ll invest in some, buy some compost, some wooden planks and get started soon. My husband and I are waiting for the rain to end in California, our backyard is filled with weeds now. Hope we can get started soon! Just wanted to share.
    Waiting for the farm series! 😇😇

    Hi Jag.
    Please suggest..... can we do farming in India.... The way Ruth..... Did years ago.
    Just heap hay or straw.... On ground...
    And... Put potatoes.... Or seeds.. Cover with little soil.

    • @thisorthat7626
      @thisorthat7626 3 роки тому

      John Texeira, The Ruth Stout method you are asking about should work in most areas of the world. The idea behind Ruth Stout's method is that the hay breaks down slowly and releases nutrients into the soil. It also protects the soil from getting too hot or too cold, and stores water. If you live in the wet part of India, it may not work. But I think for much of India it would work well. The best thing to do is try it in a small plot and see how it works. If the soil is too wet, the potatoes may get blight. That would be something to watch out for. Good luck with your garden!
