    I have 2 kinds in grow bags right now; Music, and Persian Star. About half of them have already grown leaves! I hope all 30 will be viable.

    When do you cut scapes

    • @GardenBoundAnswers
      @GardenBoundAnswers  5 місяців тому

      We recommend cutting scapes when the center stalk has formed and grown above the rest of the plant, and begins to curl or spiral upwards

    Onions are a mystery. Ancient cultures in Meso America, Europe, Egypt, Suma, India and China all show imagery of the onion, before the written word. No one knows where they were first grown. Chefs know it as the great tenderiser for cooking meat. This must be a very long story.

    Garlic in Hawaii only grows the green tops. It never bulbs. Have you ever heard of how to grow it below the tropic of Cancer?

    • @TNew-tl1ci
      @TNew-tl1ci 5 місяців тому

      You have to refrigerate the bulbs for around 50 days before planting.
