I was raised in the UMC , I have turned my back and dusted my shoes a left them . I still pray for those who stay along with those in the Episcopal church. It’s hard to find a good Bible believing church that sticks to the Gospels. God Bless you for sharing the Truth of what’s going on. May the Lord God Watch over and Protect you from All evil attacks .
There is alot of Bible believing Churches. But most are Southern Baptist and Independent Baptist. Some Nondenominational ones. The Conservative ex. United Methodists formed their own Denomination thats more Bible based also. About 1/4 of United Mehtodists left the denomination of United Methodist.
Went to St. Paul in KC. Had to hold my nose while taking classes in order to make it through. Am Global Methodist now and so happy. UMC is dying and rightfully so.
I was in seminary at Asbury when St. Paul in KC had a wear blue jeans if your support gay rights - back around 1980. Glad to hear you got into the GMC.
Absolutely 100% it's the seminaries. I could no longer in good conscience go to Wesley Theological Seminary after being told repeatedly that the Bible is not authoritative, that Moses is not the author of the Pentateuch, that Jesus is not divine, that the authorship of the New Testament books is questionable, and that Pauline theology is a corruption of Jesus' teachings. I asked a question in a theology class about ordaining women and instead of an answer I got shouted at by the professor, a man for whom I had a great deal of respect until that moment. I will not be finishing my degree in Methodist seminaries.
I believe the "seminary system" is broken. Instead of Godly teachers teaching folks to be pastors and getting deeply into what the Bible teaches, they have turned into "respectable institutions." To be qualified as a professor is all about doctorates and published papers. I pray you find a good school - one that believes and teaches the truth. Praying for you.
Amen. I sometimes wonder if the church would be better without them - I say this having gone to a good seminary some years ago. Keep praying they will repent.
The Baptist seminaries are also corrupt and ruining young minds and destroying the church. Our Pastor here in Nicaragua wanted to go to Seminary but I advised against it. Now the decision was his to go and just pray he continues to stay solid. I know a few Nicaraguans who went to the states for seminary and were so confused afterwards it was sad to see
"Howwoo, werewolves of London, howwoo" . They didn't learn from the Episcopals. Even worse. Those tremors you feel are the Wesley brothers turning over in their graves.
Sorry brother in Christ but I am unable to continue past the 4 min 30 second mark. I am so appalled at the apostasy I have learnt. I pray that there is a faithful remnant of Christ followers in the Methodist community. However I have great fears that the Methodist church will become no more due to the wolves in sheep’s clothing leading the people astray. God’s people die for lack of knowledge.
@@biblewalkwithjohn No, that is not true. It is just a mischievous claim made by creators of Christianity, which cannot be supported under modern scrutiny, and was enforced by brutal force in the past. To deny it meant death. so people just acquiesced...!
I attended Asbury in Kentucky. I believe it is still faithful but it is not an official UMC seminary. I would not trust any official UMC seminaries at this point.
I grew up in the Denver area and visited Iliff when I was looking at seminaries... They described themselves back then (1990's) as the "Iliff School of Mythology." Yeah, it's been gone for a long time...
Your continued rants against other people and churches only causes division and discord. Romans 14:10 Why do you criticize or despise other Christians? Everyone will stand in front of God to be judged. 11 Scripture says, “As certainly as I live, says the Lord, everyone will worship me, and everyone will praise God.” 12 All of us will have to give an account of ourselves to God. 13 So let’s stop criticizing each other. Instead, you should decide never to do anything that would make other Christians have doubts or lose their faith. Praying for you that you would read the Bible and see what it says about sin and Gods Love.
Protecting the sheep against wolves, especially those wolves in sheep's clothing, is one of the main tasks of pastors. God is angry with the wicked every day [Psalm 7:11b].
Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life, no one comes unto the Father except through me. Read Luke 13 Jesus warned his followers to enter through the narrow way. All who follow any other way are lost. Jesus will close the door and declare he never knew them.
@@gregb6469that passage deals with dietary differences. Food for the stomach and the stomach for food. In the 80s there was a trend throughout the churches to introduce diet and exercise classes. It was mostly popular among women.

@Packhorse-bh8qnhe probably misspoke and just meant "the Gospel" aka "the gospel of Jesus Christ"

Amen. Keep praying for the lost and deceived. Christ is still king and will be victorious but there are a lot of battles still ahead.

The One World Religion is coming into being through the seminaries and woke ministers! Praise God for your work!
Seminaries have been a problem for decades and there has been an insertion of philosophy over actual knowledge.
Amen. I sometimes wonder if the church would be better without them - I say this having gone to a good seminary some years ago. Keep praying they will repent.
That is good & useful info. Thank you.
Thank you! Keep praying these "leaders" will repent.

What do the Baptist seminaries get wrong?
Which Baptist seminaries?
Reading "Shepherd for Sale" right now and you can see the rot infecting so many areas. Keep praying!
"Howwoo, werewolves of London, howwoo" . They didn't learn from the Episcopals. Even worse. Those tremors you feel are the Wesley brothers turning over in their graves.
It seems that many churches are determined not to learn. Keep praying.
My negative experience tracks with your comments. THANK YOU FOR YOUR STRENGTH 🙏🏻
Thank you. Keep praying for the lost and deceived. Christ is still king.
Some people are wanting to be misled, since they take offense at the Scriptures, the Word of God.
So true. They have ears that seek out a false gospel. Keep praying for the lost and deceived.
"Hire-lings," simple as that. The norm for "mainstream contemporary institutionalized churchianity."
I wonder how long Asbury College/seminary will remain in rhe umc
Something I wonder also. I attended there and have found out that one of their retired teachers is now promoting the gay agenda. Keep praying!
They're independent of the UMC.

I created my own church was a Lutheran but they play the harlot like the methodists. Now I am a member of the Schlesien Evangelical Free Church
This is sad. My husband was raised in the Methodist church and felt it left him behind. He became Catholic
Keep praying for the church as well as the lost and deceived.
@@biblewalkwithjohn- Catholics are not lost. We get a lot of bad press. There are internal struggles but nothing like you document here.
After much deep thought, it is clear to me that Hinduism (Sanatana Dharma) is the natural religion of Humanity.
It may be a natural religion but Christianity is the one that the true God has revealed. Praying for you.

@@biblewalkwithjohn It is just an ad hoc claim. The most important question to ask is,' "Does Christianity have a god?"
One only needs to read 2 John to find the will of God for true believers.

Are there any good Methodist seminaries?

No surprise. I lived in Denver in the 1980’s, and Iliff was nearly this far gone even then.

Seminaries are now semetries.
Since methodist began 😅😅😅
Certainly, methodism has fallen in the UMC. Keep praying!
Serve Jesus Christ or Baal. The worship of the rainbow and the promotion of sin is idolatry and disobedience. Repent quickly!
Amen. Repentance and turning to Jesus as Lord is the only way.
What a sad group of liberal people
