Although I believe that God has provided for His children theough Jesus all we need for life and Godliness, I believe that great inspiring preaches like this need more teaching to receive. It is easy to confuse such clips with "name it and claim it" theology. I would have loved to hear tpu thrash out how to receive with a willing heart that builds the kingdom and how we can confess these things since they are not our desires but built on God's promises in His Word. I think with all the criticism on faith ministries and theology, we need to be clear what we are teaching. 3-5 more minutes would have really helped many people: critics and those who are putting their faith out there to believe. Blessings, Rod, and thanks for this! My dad gave away over $1 million facilies in middle America to another ministry because God told him to. That is faith and being a faithful steward!

Love this. Mark Brazee is a wonderful teacher of the word. I have his 365 days of Healing devotional. It's a tremendous blessing. Thankful for some wonderful faith teaching from solid ministers of the word past and present such as Bro Hagin, Billy Joe Daugherty and others. Faith in God's word works

Thank you, Rod. Happy new year ! Greatly encouraged and blessed to further learn to walk by faith, having listened to these two wonderful preacher's messages. My favourite preacher is still late Kenneth E Hagin. What a tremendous impact his faith teachings still have on my life !!!

THOSE CLIPS WERE OLD-SCHOOL TEACHINGS ON FAITH AND HOW TO OPERATE IN IT. I PRAY THAT WE SEE AND HEAR MORE OF THIS IN 2024 AND BEYOND!!!!

Alan Didio spoke the rent + tithe but only said he received the rent. I don't know what to make of it.

Maybe I am wrong but I think he got groceries and a check for the exact rent. So not just rent

@robertemard9452 you are correct. Thanks. 2 thoughts in my head:
      1. He doesn't mention getting more than the rent. Does this mean he never got more? Seems he doesn't explain more beyond that so it is a presumption to say yes or no to that question for me.
      2. Tithe, as it SEEMS he is using it, is not biblical. God doesn't demand 10% plus an offering. We are to give Him everything. Build His kingdom, not ours. But that doesn't mean that God will not supply all our needs according to His riches and glory in Christ Jesus. I have already stated elsewhere in the comments that these sound bites are faith building but can lead to confusion without clarification. We don't get what we say. We get the promises of God when we stand on them and yes, state them out loud as to "decare" that what God says is more important and real than my situation or my feelings/thoughts/perception.
So you may be right that he didn't get more. But it is impressive that he did get his rent at least. Or maybe he got more later when he needed it. We do sow and reap but it is more the heart attitude and our faith than the actual figure or rigid demand to give each week. The examples in this video shows that it was people responding to the voice of the Holy Spirit that provided the need for others. If they were not obedient then others would not have been blessed. As Jesus said, it is more blessed to give than to receive. Faith built turns us into those who need a miracle to those with which God uses to be the miracle. Feel free to disagree. This is how I see it in Scripture. Blessings, and thanks again for the correction.

@@bytesizedbible I am perhaps more cynical than you are - rightly so or maybe even wrongly so. It has been my experience that most people are selective in what facts they want to excentuate rather than give the real truth as it is. Based on his other videos, this preacher is defensive on the so called WOF movement and my concern is that his preaching will directly attempt to promote this over giving the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. Based on my experience, I will not give this guy the benefit of the doubt but at the same time, because I simply do not know the facts, I will not judge his words too harshly.

@robertemard9452 fair enough. I subscribe to no movements nor doctrine until I research it myself and see what the word of God says. It usually leaves me outside most camps as I never agree fully with a "side". Rod is a good guy. He is overly defensive of WoF. That would be my one criticism but he has a good heart and is looking for the Truth in all things. I am a sceptic as well until I can see evidence in Scripture for anything. And it has to make sense. If it is self contradictory, then I know I have the wrong idea or wrong understanding. I was this about Tithe for example. It doesn't make sense and is an arbitrary 10% plus more when this is not biblical. Paul even says not to give under compulsion but what God has said in our hearts. And not to give out of our lack. Contrary to what some preach. Now the Holy Spirit can tell us to give when we have little but that will be rare and we would need the foundation to do it and know we are listening to the Holy Spirit and not our own guilt or give to get bad theology. God can't be bribed. Again, all about our heart attitude. Stay guarded but open to the leading of the Holy Spirit in all things so we may grow and mature into all Truth!

I'll be the sceptic here. I have no doubt that God can bless and has blessed people in the manner Alan Digio spoke of. But in keeping both feet on the ground, it seems to be common practice nowadays for the vast majority of people to embellish and also to be highly selective in their communication of certain facts - in order to create a particular narrative - in this case - to promote WOF movement.
