Justin Peters and Steve LeBlanc on the Robert Morris Story: A Few Thoughts on the Matter

- Justin Peters interviewed his friend Pastor Steve LeBlanc on the Robert Morris scandal, and then brought Steve back to apologize to James Robison for saying that he was there when Robert Morris met with Cindy Clemishire's father. This prompted a couple of observations on my part.
I'm Rod Saunders, founder of Jew and Greek. I’m a musician, web developer, and a student of philosophy and economics. I recently published my first book on Amazon entitled Defending the Faith: Word of Faith Apologetics. It’s a response to the numerous charges against and misrepresentations of the Word of Faith movement and theology. I also have a CD of original music on CD Baby entitled Gates of Pearl. “Jew and Greek” is a good name because the two civilizations that influenced Western civilization the most were those of the Judeo-Christian and Greek worlds. From the Jews we received our values and a monotheistic theology, and from the Greeks we got philosophy which brought us science, sports, the arts, democracy, and economics. As a result I discuss all of the above in this blog and in my videos.

Steve is a good guy because he agrees with Justin! 😊
lol...
I believe Justin means that someone is one of “the good guys” if they are a Calvinist.
All I know is if I watch another “ expose this pastor because I have found the truth and everybody else is damned” I’ll explode! UA-cam isn’t a great place to find teachers as a new believer. Everybody exposes everyone else. That’s why I can’t watch peters and MacArthur, well, gee whiz. Somehow he missed the joy and hope of the Lord. We know Morris sinned we don’t need 10,000 videos about it
I saw what you did! Nice job using Justin as a prop. Yes, we do need to learn how to exercise grace towards others; especially with the ones that we don't agree with.
I pray that I never get so sold out to a philosophy and an anti-others agenda that I become blind to my cognitive inconsistency-or that I start to believe the lies I tell myself.
I don’t know anymore if Justin et al can help themselves but be logically inconsistent
A Calvinist charismatic of many years, I greatly appreciate your balanced perspective and analysis.
Giving someone the benefit of the doubt. That's a novel idea these days.
Very revolutionary! It would be a revival
keep up the good work my beloved brother! blessings
The more I learn about Cessationism the more I find it difficult to understand how anyone believes it. God bless you.
Like usual, great commentary!
Good words.
I like this one Rod. A bit of a little lesson...nice!
Nailed it!
This is about being gracious. Yes. That's very much a 'do unto others as you would that they do to you' ........
Justin is gracious with the 'good ones' Those who agree with him. Not the ones who challenge him. Rod challenges Justin too much to be called 'one of the good ones'
Nice one thanks Br Rodd❤❤😊
Great video. God bless
Very good.
“If Cindy says James (Robison) wasn’t there he wasn’t there”…unless JR caved to CC’s demands and paid her off on the condition that CC sign an NDA. That’s just theoretically speculating based on reading tea leaves and consulting chicken entrails.
Wow!!! Justin Peters and Steve LeBlanc corrected that bit of actionable slander quicker than a baptist at a beer joint.
I was very unimpressed with Steve Leblanc update video. They should have take down the original video on Justin channel.
I appreciate pointing out false doctrine but it seems like it’s a bit much with some of these ministries. They end up not even preaching Christ but just pointing out others fault all the time. It’s just a bunch of foolish arguments like the Bible talks about. Somethings you just need to let it go and it’s not an extremely important doctrine.
I saw the JP video when it first aired and from how the guest described their relationship, it didn't sound like he was a "friend" of Pastor Morris. More of a coworker or acquaintance. But "friend" was listed first in the video's title.
How do I tag Justin Peters?
I agree we do make mistakes and remember differently or differently than others...But, I do think that Justin really does try to help people realize false teachers and learn to have more discernment..which that is also a gift that can be given to you as well. I have told him he can sometimes be more harsh than I would be..like saying someone's going to hell..yes I've said that too but not because someone gets something wrong out of the bible. They could have just spoken wrong..but most of the time...Justin's right..they just aren't teaching the Word of God!
Good stuff.
Excellent mate
Reminds me when people start a conversation with “ honestly speaking… “
I know it’s not honest
Mr. Saunders., If I can inject my 2 cents on this with my personal experience. I started attending Gateway in 2008 and became a member in 2009. The Church that I was at before Gateway, I had a very bad falling out with my young adult's pastor, due to the fact that I was so burned out, and him thinking I was not doing enough for the church. I was at gateway for about 3-4 years when Mr. Leblanc became the young adults pastor at Gateway. After a few weeks listening to his messages, I started getting a very bad vibe. I realized that a lot of Mr. Leblanc's messages sounded very similar to the pastor I had a falling out with at my old church. I did not know what the terms "reformed theology" and "Calvinism" were until I was at Gateway. After I realized what they were, I ran from that theology and never wanted to go back. So, after Mr. Leblanc's messages and theories that he was speaking to the young adults of Gateway, I believe he always had that view in him, but just did not fully convert after he was gone from Gateway.
Quite interesting....well and now he's a Calvinist
Gateway church is definitely not calvanist..far from it.
@@petefults5984 May I ask what you're relating to?
@@susanthroop1279 my reply is to the person that made the post.
@@petefults5984 Still stupid
Hahahahaha. I like this video
I'm disappointed with you... you're quoting Justin out of Context... Justin meant no one can be good without Christ... and you know that very well
Bless your heart. You completely missed the point.
clowns.
Do you need attention or something?
