The photo looks so much better…but the low quality vintage style of the original was sorta the main appeal for me. Is there a way to keep the original image profile?
Thanks, I used your discount code to order one yesterday in green. I was holding off getting one of these until they released a new version hoping for better shutter and image quality… looking forward to trying!
Nice!! Enjoy it! Camp Snap has some best practices videos and stuff on their socials and website too def check them out - but these things are so easy to get creative with so no doubt you’ll have a good time with it!
From the video the shutter speed doesn't seem much different. if you can also publish photos taken with both cameras, perhaps of the same scene. Thank you.
The shutter is about twice as fast in terms of shutter delay (not shutter speed by the technical term - that one I'm not sure about). The shutter itself is much more instantaneous compared to the older model. If you watch closely too, the second time the shutter was pressed, the old version didn’t even take the photo as it wasn’t done buffering yet. Working on a side by side comparison of the photo quality too :)
@@hollydesautels4316 just a week ago I ordered two, but there was no notice on the website about the release of the new one and when I asked, they told me that the date was unknown. I'd get the 103 version directly. I'll wait for the one after 103
Understandable! I have both versions and I do think that both are worth it for different reasons (I will be keeping both)! I believe camp snap wasn’t intending on launching so soon- it was a bit of a surprise for them too I think.
Would have been good if they corrected the parallax and also accounted for the focal length in the viewfinder. Composition with this camera is not easy as the viewfinder doesn't represent the image composed
Do you have v101 or v103? If you have v103, you just have to access the mode, up, and down buttons on the bottom of the camera. Click and hold mode until the date pops up, first it will be the year, press mode until you see S on the display and a number. You will just want to click the down button until it shows S 0 (zero being muted)!
it can hold up to 2000 photos, and can shoot up to 500 on a single charge. Once it fills up, you can clear the photos off and fill it all over again :)
@@zer0zap982 It comes with a usb-c to usb-c cable! My mac has a usb-c port so I can just plug the camp snap right into my computer with no other adaptors etc. But if your computer has standard usb only then yes you would need a USB-C to USB adaptor!
@@matthewwinston6497 the key feature of the camp snap is that it’s screen free (helping users to unplug and stay in the moment). For me personally, I am as photographer so I spent SO MUCH TIME staring at a screen to make sure I get the perfect composition on a shot I probably won’t end up using anyway tbh. Camp snap helps me to think less about getting the perfect composition and more about just capturing the memory. It also has a built in filter that give the photos a vintage look without any editing :)
V103 isn’t being made anymore so all cams on the camp snap website will be v103B now! They’re very similar but just have a different chip. The v103B can do custom filters, etc
You can use code HJPHOTO94 for $5 off yours on the official Camp Snap website!
I’m so glad I found this video! Almost bought the old version now I’m gonna get this! Thank you!
No prob! Enjoy it! Feel free to use the promo code in the description for $5 off :)
Just got mine when they released this version on the website glad I held off can’t wait for it to come on the 14th
Thanks, I was looking for info on the new v103, you have convinced me!
No problem! It’s definitely worth it! Use code HJPHOTO1 for $5 off :)

The sensor itself is better so the image quality will definitely be better but they do come with vintage filter pre-installed!

So glad I bought one of the new ones!
It’s funny cause I had bought the old version literally a day before the new one was released😂
what does the date set do
Allows you to set your metadata on the camera! That way, when you download the pictures they sort to the correct date on iPhone/android/etc.
can these shoot video too or just photos ?
Just photos on these!

Awesome, Thanks, i was wondering what “5 and 3” with nothing in the middle meant 💀😂
Thanks so much!!! Used your code ❤
Enjoy! These cameras are so much fun

What’s the benefit of camp snap photo quality vs an IPhone today?

Is this disposable camera?
It’s meant to look like one - but it’s reusable! It’s designed to emulate the look of disposable film cameras but it’s digital and reusable :)
