As a Sudanese, I must emphasize that the situation is far more complex than portrayed. In essence, Sudan boasts abundant and diverse resources, along with a significant religious and intellectual influence in the region. Consequently, it possesses substantial potential to emerge as a regional superpower. However, this potential has been met with opposition from entities such as the Zionists, the U.S. military-industrial complex, and Corporate America which over decades of wars, hostilities, and sanctions led to the situation we have today.
When I say that about Sudan ppl think I'm only saying it because I'm Sudanese. But I was born and raised and lived most of my life outside of Sudan and going there and staying there made me feel exactly like Malcolm did, I never felt home anywhere else, there r no other ppl like the ppl of Sudan. May Allah bring peace back to our homeland so we can go back, there's no place like Sudan. We can go anywhere in the world but we will always come home. ❤

Thank you for sharing this informative video on the figures who influenced Malcolm X's transformation, prior to his untimely passing. The assassination of Malcolm X robbed not only the African American community, but also the African Diaspora of a great thinker and leader, who sought to nourish his soul, spiritually, through Islam. I have often wondered if Malcolm was knowledgeable about the Arab enslavement of people of African descent, dating back to the 7th century, and if he was knowledgeable about it, how he was able to reconcile this with his commitment to the religion of Islam. While Malcolm spoke passionately about the plight of the Palestinians, following his travels to the region, I wish that he had written and/or spoken about the colonization and enslavement of Blacks in Muslim countries like the Sudan and Mauritania. It would seem that these inhumane institutions are inconsistent with the tenets of the world's major religions. I have often wondered the same thing about the indigenous Sudanese people, who were not merely colonized by the British, but also the Muslim Arabs, whose religion they practice and whose language they also speak and learn in their educational system. I wonder if they feel conflicted about this, given their mistreatment. The fact that the indigenous Sudanese people are not committed to preserving their own African ancestors' religion(s) and languages can be construed as evidence of the persistence of a colonized mindset. The neglect of their own rich cultural heritage is unhealthy, if not unsettling, to say the least. Today, the indigenous people of the Sudan are still suffering at the hands of the RSF, formerly known as the Janjaweed, and the Arab militia. Genocide, slavery, and gang rape are being perpetrated against them with impunity, under the cover of civil war.
