At the time where our attention is fixed on Gaza, rightly, another conflict is taking place with horrendous cost to human life. Sadly As always, our ummah has become subject to the political ambitions of egotistical actors and their outside backers. Sudan is burning. There are 8 million people on the move, escaping the indiscriminate murder, rape and pillage of what can only be described as two warlords that thwarted a people’s revolution - aided by external powers.
Today we explore these two conflicts. In a way, they are one. They are recent episodes of a Muslim world in crisis. Our ummah today lives in a perpetual state of conflict, can we escape this dire situation. We are now 100 years since the formal demise of the Ottoman state, what does the next 100 years look like.

Finally, someone speaking up on the Muslim leaders’ role in destroying other Muslim nations. It’s easy for them to deflect blame onto the West and carry out their agenda behind the scenes, we should hold them just as accountable as we hold Western powers.
Bin Salman and Bin Zaid need the ‘American’ chair. Muslims need to stop visiting these two countries as holiday destinations (aside for hajj and Umrah - and not visit any other part of the country) and use hashtag’s like boycott, Saudi becoming the new Vatican, human rights abusers etc etc. only then will these monsters and their dirty country will do anything about it. Bin Salman and Bin Zaid will not have been able to do the level of Haram that they are, if their public wasn’t also on board with it.

May Allah preserve and bless this man, and may Allah make this man one of the biggest tools and make all of us at least the little vehicles in the process of turning the tide in favor of the Ummah. Have trust in the promise of Allah and don't be afraid to fail. Unite and be tolerant towards the small differences between us. Mobilize those you know and don't know. Engage with the communities around you to effect positive change.
Not muslims, arabs. You never unite, but divide yourselves and kill each other. All it takes is a few muslim countries to unite and share technology and nuclear weapons similar to NATO countries.

My husband is Sudanese. He has spent every evening listening to the news and people of Sudan speak. He has a lot of family there, and has lost cousins.
Thank you for this video bc it really helped me as a North American see what truly is going on in Sudan, the implications, the possible -deep rooted/ causes, and the struggle clearly. I had empathy but now i also have understanding.

The massive coast is coveted for military uses, and i deeply believe that there are minerals/oil in somali soil. The US/west is no one's ally. You're only a tool to be discarded after use.

For awhile UAE created problems in Somalia, few weeks ago one of their most senior military officials has been gun downed in Muqdisho by a Somali soldier who didn’t care to die.

@@Bell_plejdo568p I'm not entirely sure but rumors and allegations begun many years ago against UAE in Somalia 1, when they were captured smuggling 10+ million US dollars secretly when they didn't have to. 2, explosives were found which were used public and market bombings in their somalia militia base who they trained and directly controlled. After the explosives were found they were banned entirely from the country because they were huge out cry then they were allowed to come back by a different group who I assume they bribed and it's this time when I soldier opened fire on one of their high ranking officials attending some type of ceremony. I don't know what their exact interests are I would love to know as well also Qatar is involved somalia with great reputation in the Somali community so there are those who are saying UAE is competing with Qatar which is an Orthodox Islamic sect with influence in Somalia. The truth I don't know but one thing is clear every country they are involved are complaining about them and it seems they are involved in many countries.

He tells the truth.

Sami is Right, when Maryam was giving birth to Issa (Peace upon him and his mother ) the severe pain of labour drove her to the trunk of a palm tree.in her desperation and wishing she was dead and forgotten about, a voice told her not to grieve and to shake the trunk of the palm tree towards you, it will drop fresh, ripe dates upon you. So eat and drink, and put your heart at ease. My point here brothers & sisters Allah could have made the dates fall into her, but instead wanted her to do a small gesture by gently shaking the trunk,. taking action is the secret, no matter how small that action, Allah is the provider.
I swear every time I feel as though “what’s the point of what we’re doing” Sami’s words puts me back on track and motivates me to try better. May Allah reward his efforts with Jannah.
I’m Sudanese living in the UK. I always love listening to Sami Hamdi, one thing that wasn’t discussed is the role of the Muslim brotherhood (Kezan) which is pulling lots of strings. Without talking about them the picture wouldn’t be complete.

We find ourselves thrust into a conflict not of our making, but one imposed upon us. Our struggle is not merely for survival, but for the preservation of our dignity, nationality, and self-identity.
The RSF, also known as the Janjaweed, perpetrate atrocities of an unprecedented scale. Their actions transcend mere warfare; killing and raping the Sudanese population, stealing and looting the possessions of the Sudanese people, destroying and demolishing the infrastructure of the Sudanese people.
Their aim is not to engage with the Sudanese Armed Forces but to terrorize and subjugate the Sudanese population.
Their campaign of ethnic cleansing and forced displacement seeks to alter the demographic landscape, an act reminiscent of the displacement tactics employed by Israel in Palestine in 1948.
"There has certainly come to you a Messenger from among yourselves. Grievous to him is what you suffer; [he is] concerned over you [i.e., your guidance] and to the believers is kind and merciful." (Quran: 9:128)

Salam Alaikum, I'm from Sudan and I can confidently say that this podcast offered great context on the conflict and history of Sudan. And about the UAE role in the conflict but not completeted as UAE is after Sudan's natural resources from the largest Fertile land in the world to the largest Gold ( and other minerals ) reserve in the world and to our vital port to the stability of the Red sea and international commerce, therefore the Global economy.
UAE wants Sudan to become like Somalia. Somali is run by Western countries especially USA and than Saudi and UAE. and trust me, I am from Somalia. Somalia is at the state of becoming over taken. Between countries that I mentioned. The situation in Somali is very bad.
None of what you said is true. Sudan isn't even in the top 10, when it comes fertile land or gold reserve. And you have zero impact on the global economy. Most people don't even know there's a war happening in Sudan. That's how insignificant it is to the global community. You are delusional.

It’s always bewildered me as to why Muslims are silent on every other conflict impacting Muslims but when it comes to Israel Palestine there’s big huge rave about it. Rightfully so we should keep our voices high about Palestine but are the Palestinians more important or higher in status than the rohingyas, Uyghurs and sudanese? The Syrians, Iraqis, Kashmiris and Yemenis? Where is this attitude that we have when it comes to gaza and Palestine towards other groups in our ummah suffering and dealing with oppression???
