The black people are the indigenous inhabitants of Egypt and have been residing there for thousands of years. The Arab invasion took place in the mid-7th century, which led to the displacement of a significant portion of the population towards the southern regions. Before the Arab invasion, Egypt had faced invasions from various other groups at different times including the Hyksos, Assyrians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans.

I visited this side of Egypt with my husband when I was there about 15 years ago. I had long, flowing locs at the time. The moment they laid eyes on me after I exited the boat that took us there, they all started chanting, 'my cousin, my cousin'. Talk about a beautiful feeling and connection. Egypt is Africa...PERIOD. Egypt is located squarely on the African continent and therefore integral part of Africa. The fact that they, as well as many other North African countries were conquered by Arabs and took on the Arabic language and much of the culture, as well as Islam and such, does not make them any less African.

When I was in America as a student from black African country, a so-called Caucasian Arab woman at the same university, asked me why Africans don't wear clothing and leaving in bushes. Though I fumed about what that Arab Egyptian woman asked me, I kept my cool. I was able to tell that white Arab woman my mind in a polished and educative ways about Arabs being occupiers in North African countries and in country like Mauritania, Tanzania, and other black African countries. I told her that Arabs lied to black Afrincas of being their friends and helping them to weed off Caucasian Europeans. Arabs in in Africa are like vistors that slowly took over your house. Then I talked about Egyptian Mammies. This white Arab Egyptian woman began to tearing down. She felt so bad that she remained mute throughout our conversation.

@@zeroronaldo9313I will return to Egypt, the Cradle of Human Civilization. I realize however every Continent wants to claim it, yet it belongs to Africa. My visit was one of greatest moments of my life, but as an African-American I experienced forms of racism that I hope the modern day Egyptians have overcome. Our tour group went to the Cairo Hilton bar and this white bartender refuse to serve me, possibly believing I was a Nubian. Finally a white member of my group demanded he serve me which he did, but I realized that Egypt had serious colorism issues, which it had never overcome since the British Colonial Era. Then when we took a train ride to Aswan, I was taking a picture on a stationary train. Suddenly officials came running over to tell me that I wasn’t allowed to stand on the train. That is until he realized I wasn’t a Nubian, but an American tourist, whereupon the official was happy to take a picture with me. Nevertheless, I resented the fact that that Nubians were discriminated against in there own land. I also noticed white American Universities helping to restore the Pyramid and wondering if they were trying to repaint the obvious dark skinned original Egyptian white, as to not offend their highly lucrative European and white American-tourist trade. Now I realize a lot of changes could have been made in Egypt since my 1980 visit. I hope the form of self hatred I witness has improved.

Hi. Thank you for this footage. Between 9:30 and 9:40 brought back memories to me! LOL! I was in Aswan several years prior to COVID-19. I did not experience a lot of vendor aggression in Aswan, but I did in other parts of Egypt, especially Cairo. While I pondered over what I wanted to buy, I told a merchant that I did not have any money. Several other vendors heard me and began to ridicule me - and I mean, serious fourth-class ridicule. Their main statement was, "He is from the USA and has no money!" They kept this up for a while. Unfortunately for them, I did not buy anything. I took the money that "I did not have" back to the USA with me. I really wish that they would have just chilled out. At 9:38 it appears that you also wish that they would just step back a little! LOL!!! Other than that, however, I really enjoyed my trip to Egypt.

@@HudaYassin-bj4zv Yes, Egypt is definitely located in Africa. It is considered part of both North Africa and the Middle East region, but geographically the majority of Egypt's land lies within the African continent. Here are some key facts about Egypt's location in Africa: Egypt shares borders with Libya, Sudan, and the Gaza Strip, all of which are located in Africa. The vast majority of Egypt's land area of around 1 million square km is on the African mainland. The Nile River, which was the lifeblood of ancient Egyptian civilization, runs from south to north through eastern Africa before reaching the Mediterranean. Egypt's renowned ancient sites like the Pyramids of Giza and the Valley of the Kings are located in the northeastern part of the African continent. Politically and culturally, Egypt is considered part of the Arab world and the Middle East due to its majority Arabic population. However, this cultural sphere spans both Africa and Asia. Egypt is a founding member of the African Union and the United Nations geoscheme for Africa. So while Egypt has very close ties culturally and historically to the Middle East, from a purely geographic perspective there is no ambiguity that the overwhelming bulk of its territory resides within the continent of Africa. Egypt represents a transcontinental connection point between the civilizations of Africa and the Middle East.
Yes, it's in Africa, but northwest Africa is not the same as sub-saharan Africa. Big Big difference. Northern Africa is a semi- continuation of Arabia, Arabs and mix Arabs. Where sub Saharan Africa is true black African. Ghana , Nigeria, Nigeria, Zimbabwe,Rwanda, etc is not the same Africa as Libya, Morocco, Egypt, Tunisia and they make a difference between themselves and other African 's in regions below the Sahara desert. And when the Africans from below the Sahara desert goes there they discriminate against them and make some of them slaves. Yes Egypt is in Africa, And they're Africans, but different from your typical sub Sahara African. Not the same.

Nubian Egyptians are far less pushy toward tourists than Arab egyptians. It's still a tourism fueled economy, but the attitude toward foreigners seems to be closer to what you see in Sudan. And the Sudanese are the MOST generous Arabic speaking people. They'll fight to keep you from paying in Sudan. That man who waited outside of the village had a strong Northern accent; if he was Nuba, he wasnt raised in Nubia. In the villages, away from the tourist shops, you would have experienced such beautiful hospitality. InshaaAllah if you ever go again, just show up in the village. You'll be treated like a king. My wife is Oromo and Somali, Cushitic cousins of the Nubas, and we notice similarities in cultural practice and architecture. The Nubians are known for being skilled musicians, pious muslims, physically beautiful, and tender-hearted. They have also retained their own distinct languages (I believe there are a few different ones categorizedas "Nubian"), which sounds beautiful.

@@HudaYassin-bj4zv Yes, Egypt is definitely located in Africa. It is considered part of both North Africa and the Middle East region, but geographically the majority of Egypt's land lies within the African continent.
Here are some key facts about Egypt's location in Africa:
Egypt shares borders with Libya, Sudan, and the Gaza Strip, all of which are located in Africa.
Why is she separating Egypt from Africa? It’s in Africa.

Don't waste your energy on them.
They probably want to suggest there are white indigenous Africans as well as black ones which is ridiculous. The true African is black.
And the skin insanity continues.
70% in africa and 30% in Asia
In some European countries for insurance and business purposes Strange as it may sound Eygpt comes under Europe not Africa and Egyptians are classified as white as a race. Bizarre I know 🤷🏽♀️
Why would any sane reasonable person believe Caucasians were ever the Indigenous people of Egypt or that geographical region.
Maybe because King Tut's Y-DNA is more common in England that it is in the entire African continent. Many ancient pharaohs undeniably had European DNA, not least of all the Greek ones like Cleopatra who was 100% Greek.
@@Pork_Schwarma Had you noticed the images of the indigenous people on the walls of the ancient temples, well explain to me what does the pigment appear to be?
@@Pork_Schwarma I definitely don’t trust results submitted by people who don’t want the truth revealed.

Colour is not always accurate when it comes to antiquities. However, did you notice only the males were pigmented and the females were light skinned?
Even Egypt today, the females are usually much lighter than the males.
The females then and now were/are kept away from the sun and did/do little manual labour.
Some of the antiquities show African/negroid features. The rest are downright Egyptian and European in appearance.
Greeks came and overan the place and some even returned to Europe with the knowledge of mathematics claiming it as their own. Nubians written out of history.
Wow...travelled half way accross the world to a multi-thousand year old culture and the only thing he wants to do is to avoid all the locals and go to MacDonalds....shocking choice...
Egypt is located on the northeast corner of the African continent. In Africa.
Had the opportunity ro visit Egypt and the Nubian village back in 2017. When it comes to making a sale Egyptians are true hustlers! That hibiscus drink was hitting! Also they served us this mint lemonade or limeade that was also delicious!
Thanks for sharing your journey. I really enjoyed watching.
WOW!! Beautiful scenarios from the river. Also the river is so beautiful
Thanks for allowing me to travel with you! Beautiful!! ❤️
You are so welcome!
We are indigenous to planet Earth 🌎. Africa is the birth place of humanity. We just not separate ourselves from this truth. Thank you for your video. 💯👑
Not true, white educators told you that. I bet you still believe everybody came from Adam and eve.
I love latitudes and longitudes. 🤣
Awesome, thanks for the online experience from the eye of your journey! Instantly subscribed!
I am Nubian too from Tanzania..so excited to hear this, i thought Nubians are from Sudan or Ethiopia
Facto -This is true I agree
Thanks for sharing. Feels like I'm right there with you. Im feeling joy just watching you. Thanks again.
Africa is Africa, simple as that. Most ethnic nationalities come in all skin tones, don’t be surprised. Think of humanity rather than skin tones. We’re all humans, it’s others who have the problem with a colour don’t be fixated.
Tell that to the Afrocentrics and Eurocentrics.
I lived in Egypt for 13 years! Aswan is like my 2nd home. I really miss Egypt! Never a dull moment! In order no not be harassed as much, you can ask someone on the street. They don't harass as much as shop owners.
Thank you for putting me in the mist of your journey. I feel connected.
Bro, i've been following for you about a year, and i really appreciate your travels, but i must say, this one in egypt i have really been hoping you would make it there and you did. very happy for you. Thank you for this one.
Why is she separating Egyptians from Africa ? I notice that she made sure to separate the two .
Social conditioning. Like how Europeans went through all of that effort to make the Suez canal, splitting the landmass.
There are videos showing that Africans aren't taught about real Egyptian history.
Maryjane Byarm has a vid about visiting Aswan as well.
Because they DO NOT identify with any Black people, they say they're Arabs
she means the rest of Africa,
what's wrong with that, can you tell us what you could have said?
@@7mo32 Thank you,... Most people can't comprehend that English could be this woman's 3rd or 4th language....
An African History of Africa is a corrective to these narratives. Ambitious in scope and refreshing in perspective.
Gotta commend Czech. He seems to go to more unique places year by year
