Pretty spot on. I've had mine about a year now and have around 1400 miles on it. The plusses for the M20 are range, looks, and after well over 1000 miles with zero problems I can add durability to the list, The minuses are the brakes, no height adjustment for the seat, and I guess that's it really. I didn't include speed or torque on either list because I think both are adequate, but neither is exceptional. 25 mph is about right, You can get it to 28 with a slight gravity assist and obviously much more than that with a steeper hill, but 25 in the flat is about right. The most distance I ever go is 25-30 miles, so with 2 batteries that's never a worry for me. The display is pretty bare bones, but it's got what you need. Support is not terrible I guess. I've contacted them a couple of times and they do get back to you, although they tend to ask perplexing questions that have nothing to do with what you're contacting them about. But at least you get a response, so I guess that's as much as you're ever gonna get from a Chinese company. Anyway, good review.
No height adjustments for the seat is a BIG problem imo. What an oversight. I was thinking of getting one for me and my girlfriend, but she is pretty short, and I am pretty tall. Complete deal breaker.
@@Veganarchy-Zetetic it's not really an oversight, just the nature of the beast with this style of bike. I'm pretty sure all the other moped style bikes have the same restriction.
@@AKCobra1120 Then it is an oversight on all of them if that is the truth. Anything with peddles requires adjustable seats. We all have different length legs. I will take a pass on all 'moped style bikes' if this is the case. "Setting the correct saddle height on your bike is essential for comfort, efficiency, performance and to avoid injury, which will ultimately allow you to ride longer and push harder."
@@Veganarchy-Zetetic I don't really disagree with you that it's a definite con, but I think it really a design decision rather than an oversight. This style of bike is really designed more for cruising. I generally cruise on the street and pedal on the trail. While I wouldn't mind a higher seat for pedaling, not being in the optimum position to pedal isn't really that big of a deal with pedal assist. It's not for everyone though, and it sounds like you're looking for a different experience, so yeah I don't think you'd be happy with this style. Anyway, good luck whatever you go with, it's a great way to enjoy the outdoors!
@@AKCobra1120 I am sure I could mod the bike to make the seat higher somehow. I have seen people add risers underneath the seat but imo it looks awful. I just don't want to be modding a bike that cost me 2 grand when they could have just implemented something themselves. They have already achieved so much technical and complicated feats. Is a way to rise the seat really that hard to add!? 3 different thicknesses of seats that you can choose when buying based off leg measurements would help just off the top of my head. I want my bike to look like a bike anyway, I think. Less chance of being harassed by police etc.
Had one for a few weeks, compared to others similar on the market this is by far the best. Seats really comfy, breaks could be better, speed on the throttle is good and a lot of fun to ride
I've been watching reviews of different e-bikes/mopeds. Mainly this vs Akez models. Particularly the Jaguar. One significant difference I noticed is that the Jaguar has a 1500 watt motor so it wins in terms of power but I like the mileage on this one and the aesthetic looks better too. I've been wondering if its possible to convert the motor on this one into a 1500 watt motor? Thank you for your honest and helpful review.
You get to keep it but it's an unbiased review 😂. So they didn't pay you they just gave you a $1600 bike for free lol. I'm not saying this review is biased but that little part there was funny.
I just got an X20 for review... I'll be reviewing it soon on the channel but upon first impressions, I wish the M20 was fitted with as many high quality components as the X20.. air shocks, hydraulic brakes, etc... really quality bike. What do you think of it so far assuming you got it by now.
@@WilliamShakerTech Yes... it is a very good bike and the battery is 35 amps. It runs between 80 and 100 km... it really climbs mountains... the shock absorbers are of excellent quality... the brakes are 100%... the speed is from 55 to 60 km per hour... the battery was fully charged within 9 hours... Hi, hope you can anwser a couple questions for me, Is there a way to lock the bike? or at least Lock the electronical options like starting the bike, headlights? Question 2.. Buy a U-Lock and carry it around with you. Check aliexpress on an alternative push-button mechanism to run the bike. Honestly, these bikes are mopeds and no one uses them as peddle bikes. If your laws are strict (Orwellian style) then better to stay away. Otherwise, try the option I mentioned and see if available.
