Kindly explain how it might be possible for an e-bike equipped with a 750W motor (with a peak of 1000W) from Oraimo to function and achieve speeds exceeding 20 miles per hour without having a screen on the panel.
Oh we do. We have three different panel videos on this channel so far and more adding weekly. Be sure to subscribe and turn on notifications and make sure to watch all three already on the channel. Might be the same panel
This is common on a lot of panels. You have to hold down a button to save the change. Every panel is different. Try holding the power and down button for a couple seconds. I don't have that ebike to test it. But it needs to be saved.

Can you show us how to unlock/derestrict Aventon Aventure 2 bikes? It only goes 20mph on the highest setting or 28+ with pedal assist. I know the motor can go faster in throttle alone.
That's an easy one, we've done a number of those. You have to get into developer mode. If I recall correctly it's the plus and minus at the same time for like 10-15 seconds, then you can scroll through the options like top speed (which show KM, but you can raise to around 75) and then the next should be tire size. You can lower it and it won't have an accurate speedometer, but will increase speed another 5-10 mph. Best of luck
Hey John, get into settings with the method shown. Might have to do the plus and minus for a few seconds, then the power and minus at the same time for a couple seconds and a secret menu appears. Change the tire to 29.5

I have a vivi MO26TGB and the panel is very rudimentary. Just a couple LEDs to indicate power level 1,2, or 3 holding the buttons does cause all the lights on the panel to flash once. I've read elsewhere that this unlocks the limited but top speed only jumped from 15 to 18 I think I need the magnet method or to install a new panel
Use extra caution with raising trike speeds. The turning can be a nightmare when going over 15mph which is why most trikes are limited. You can do it though
I have the Aventon Pace 500 and I upgraded to the full color and Bluetooth connection and the +and- isn’t working to get into developer mode. Any suggestions? Thank you.
I am in Costa Rica and have a RAM Mia 1200 watt scooter. Looks much like a Vespa. But can find little to no information on it. One cannot get the seat latch to open. No info on any speedo settings. My top speed is 56 KPH/32MPH. I believe would be 45 MPH unleashed. Uses 10 inch by 3 inch tires and only 2 ply. Would like 4 ply with a higher rim to road height. In return can keep you supplied with the very best coffee that grows right here in Tarrazu Costa Rica. Starbucks obtains its best and most expensive here. I am more interested in higher speeds going uphill as only major highways are over 40 KPH. 20% grade is about all it will handle uphill and at 38 KPH. Has a 60 Volt 40 AH battery. Something I did is add a crash bar/foot rest. 1 inch box steel above, below 1 inch flexible PVC which gives me somewhere for my feet as well as some protection against roll over.
I have a Jolin 81f display on my Shengmilo S600 and I can't figure out how to adjust pedal assist power on each of the 1-7 settings. I want less assist on pedal assist on the 1 position.
I've never done that ebike in particular, but I'm sure it's similar to other ebikes I've done. You can adjust each level. There are C settings and P settings. Here are the P settings and what each one does: P0: Fixed setting that indicates when the wheel diameter needs to be changed P1: Fixed setting that is usually the default voltage P2: Fixed setting that shows the minimum voltage and wheel size P3: Fixed setting that shows the speedometer speed setting P4: Types of speed display, such as Km/h (0) or mp/h (1) P5: Types of start mode, such as kick start P6: Cruising mode setting P7: Pick up speed P8: Max speed setting, ranging from 1-100% P9: Electric brake strength
@@NRGSPORTSANDHOBBY I have the P settings figured out. I can't figure out how to adjust the percentage of power applied in each pedal assist position which I have set for 7 levels. The manual says they are adjustable and says see schedule 2 and no schedule 2 is listed anywhere i can find. On pedal assist level 1 i pedal like crazy in 7th gear and cruise at 24mph. Way too fast foe the 1 position.
They are both fine. Mid range ebikes. It all depends on your budget. I prefer Velotric, Bandit, or Denago myself, but they are a little higher end with features like Apps, find my tracking, etc. They also have more suspension and comfort. But they are pricer. We have reviews on all of them with discount links to save you up to $500 each so it makes it more affordable.
That's different, just got mine in. Gotten it to 34 already, today I went in and changed things, but most of my options are for lighting, auto kick start, brightness, magnets, etc.
Great ebike. That particular bike is only rated to go 20mp. So getting it to 28 is an accomplishment. If you raised the settings and the tires, this might be the fastest it can go without additional modifications. But you need to make sure the motor can handle it. Our Haoqi ebikes use the same. display and I can get it up to 42MPH, but has a much bigger motor. That sinch also has a low weight limit. So it just may not be able to go faster with a person on it, Did you lift the back wheel and go full level 5 on the throttle without sitting on it to see? Also if you changed the tire size it may show 28mph but might be going faster.
Did you change the battery voltage setting? don't do that. Watch our recent video that shows what each setting means and how to switch it. Will help you significantly
I haven't actually tested that ebike. If it has a panel similar to one of the panels on any of our 5 unlocking videos, you can. I would watch those and look for a similar panel.
I’m looking to get an e-bike and I don’t know many but I see hi boy p7 on sale for $800 rather than 1700. it has a 500 watt motor. How fast can I get this bike going if you have ever tried this model?
I have the 2023 Eahora Juliette and would like to unlock the speed limiter. It is set at the highest programmable speed of 51 kmh which is about 32 Mph with the approximately 23-inch diameter tires it came with. Changing the programmed tire size only changes the displayed speed, not the actual speed which is determined by the maximum wheel RPM allowed. I would like to put low profile motorcycle tires on it, but that would change my tire diameter from 23 to 20-inches and lower my top speed by about 4 mph. I think the motor maximum rotational speed must be set by the controller module, but I was hoping there was a way to override that so I could use the smaller tires and still achieve the top speed of 32 mph. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks, Jim
@@NRGSPORTSANDHOBBY Thanks. I'll have to find a high-profile tire for the rear so I can prevent losing any top end speed. Someone will probably come up with a replacement controller that will allow this in the future. There are always alternatives and at 72, I'm quite happy with the 32 Mph top end. Thanks again, Jim
@@NRGSPORTSANDHOBBY Wow...just by doing the same in this vides, maxing out all the settings? I'll have to try it some time. There's a lot of Rattan owners out there that would be interested.
I have an alvas 710 ebike its not a great brand though its 250w motor 36v 12.5amp=450wh batery pedal assist am throttle ebike i unlocked speed limit feom 15.5mph yo 20.9mph is there anything else i can do to increase speed? Could i put bigger batery into it say 48v 20ah batery maybe? Or would this damge the motor? Any advice id be greatful thanks.
I just got the totgard 48v 500w 27.5" ebike.. I turned all the settings all the way up and the mph read 59.3, but im still actually only going 20mph.. any ideas of what else i could do to go a little bit faster?
If you click our channel name, and turn on notifications you will see the video and be notified of future videos. We show different types of panels in different videos.
Mine goes 15mph max and has no screen, so how do you do it for that please. Would I have to add a screen with settings, or no? I have the DYU t1. I just want an extra 5- 8 mph.
Without a screen it would be impossible to go into developer settings on that ebike. Which means it's likely only a magnet redirect option to override the limiter. What is the Battery and Motor on that model? You will need at least 48V and 500W to see any real improvement.
Thanks for your video, just subscribed! I grabbed an Ancheer Gladiator 500watt, will this hack work on this model? tops out at 21 MPH right now, but the way it accelerates quickly to 21 and drops off, I feel like it has more in it to go a bit faster.
For a 500W motor you might be able to get 25mph, but not much more. The key is W motor and battery voltage. 52V and 1200W would be ideal. But they are a bit pricier in the $800-$1200 range.
I have a rad power. Bike rad power plus and can only get it to 40km. Yes I’m in Canada. It’s maximum wattage is 500 Just wondering if you know how to boost it ? Thanks
You probably don't need to do the magnet. Try and change the. tire size to the largest it will allow. Then your panel will still say 25mph, but you will get closer to 40
@@NRGSPORTSANDHOBBY cool thanks! Will doing that wear the motor out sooner, and how much does it usually decrease the amount of miles you can travel on a charge? I also should have a Heybike Brawn soon that listed at 28 mph with a 750w
It depends really on the motor. 500w you shouldn't see much of a range drop off cause the 500W can usually get up to 40 without much effort. Now the Heybike is a beast! I have a few myself here. It's even easier to unlock. I visited them at CES this year (they had a great booth). They are coming out with all kinds of models. Great choice.
Most of the ebikes we review on this channel can be unlocked and we offer HUGE discount codes on all of them. I don't believe Lectric can do this unfortunately.
Yes, we have a few different panel videos. Usually the panel or controller can bypass the limiter. Just find the video with your display and follow along.
No, if your model does not have a screen, the only unlock capable mode would be to remove the limiter wire or magnet (depending on the model). However keep in mind, the motor won't go much faster than maybe 25-28mph. Better to get a larger motor ebike to go faster
I have an ebkacocy 400 watt e-bike, it tops out at 22 mph. How can I unlock the speed? I only have 1 button on the display. I’ve researched everywhere online, can’t find anything for this particular bike.
I'm not sure about that ebike and what capabilities it has. Did you buy it second hand? Have a manual? Usually for under 500W motors like that, they won't go much faster than 22-25 mph
You might be stuck with that. If you want to upgrade, I have a few favorites that I keep for myself. I have reviewed over 200 ebikes and there are 3 standouts that all can go up to 43mph and haul a good amount of rate with long range (200 miles in one case).
Which settings did you turn up? Each ones does something different. One changes your ebike between classes on some ebikes. You need to familiarize yourself with your different P settings. Did you watch our newest video? We go over each setting
250w motor isn't designed to go much faster. Wattage is the most important for speed. Maybe trade up to a 500W or 750W? They aren't much more and you get a ton more speed and torque
It certainly has the motor and battery for it. I'm not familiar with that panel though. I wouldn't know how to get into the developer mode without having one here. Does it say in the manual? Some manuals do and actually give you the codes to raise the speed. Most ebikes, it's P8. However I just don't know on that panel. Nice ebike though
Thanks for the information, going to try it out but wanted to see if you know if this will work with the Smartravel Electric Bike DK400 1200W. Subed as well.
My ebike only has p01 display brightness and po2 which allows me to swirch between miles and km and p16 which doesnt let me do anything on it do you know how i could disable speed limiter?
i have the vivi 500w ebike. unfortunately it doesn't come with a digital panel but rather just a small LED light kind of control. How would I remove the limiter with this kind of bike?
@@NRGSPORTSANDHOBBY no we are a bike shop in NJ. It is sold by Haro.. but looks like the controller is a canadian model. Truly a pain in the @ss. My customer of course wants to go a little faster than the 20mph limit and Bafang made this thing a total lock out
The more power you push with your ebike the less the range. This goes for whether you unlock it or not. Example level 2 will have a longer range that level 5. So YES you will get less range ofcourse
Subscribe to us? It's the button right below the video. Aventon can be unlocked through the app to a class 3 which will get you 28mph. Beyond that you will need to get into developer settings similar to this video
I set the speed to 28 in the app, but the throttle still only goes to 20. You have to pedal to go faster. I cant pedal that fast. I run out of gear. I want to make the throttle able to make it go faster than 20.
This is where the confusion is. You don't actually have to pedal. Just move the pedals around while pressing the throttle and it will go 28. The sensor just needs to see the pedals moving
Yeah, you just need to find out how to get into the proper setting. If I get one in here, I will do it for you. You can also call the manufacturer. They sell them all over the world and in countries than have no limits so they have to unlockable. My dual motor ebikes all go 45+ mph
@NRGSPORTSANDHOBBY I'd be more than happy at that speed, it's got a YL90T-H display which I believe is from Yolin, hopefully you'll get to look at 1 soon 🤞🏻
@@NRGSPORTSANDHOBBY yes ! and it went to SP p mode. Then it’s asking for a 4 digit code. What is the code? And is this even the code to subtract the speed limiter? It sucks I can pedal my ass off going down a steep hill and I can’t go faster than 35 mph. And with the throttle alone I can only get up to 22 mph. Thanks for your advice and I will literally send you $100 if this can work on my bike.
I'm getting a Wallke soon and will check it out. Likely the P08 setting. Should be pretty simple. I have a similar panel video on this channel (not this video)
I have a Fatbike Volta VB2 and this worked , it went from 15,5mph (25km/h) to 26mph (42km/h)... The bike looks different but the lcd panel is the same.. Thankyou for sharing !!! but just in case you want to reverese it. Do you happen to know how to just reser it ?
I always suggest writing down or taking pics of the numbers before. Really the only three that make the difference is the Voltage to the motor, the tires, and the override (P08). Enjoy the faster ebike
That particular ebike is kind of more of a budget ebike. You can unlock, but it could ruin your motor. It's not powerful enough. Try and get an ebike with a 750w motor or larger. I believe that one is 350w. You would want minimum 500w to really unlock the full potential
Please, if you don’t mind, can you show it on the third bike you have it in the video I have the same exact one i’m talking about Oraimo Electric Bike and I’m trying to unlock the speed limit.
Thanks for replying back I do have Oraimo Electric Bike for Adults,350W BAFANG Motor(Peak 500W), 4A 3H Fast Charge, 468Wh Li-ion Battery, 21 Speed Gear, Air Saddle, 45 Miles 20 MPH 26" Mountain Ebike, Complies to ANSI/CAN/UL2849. I bought it off Amazon and I’m really happy with it but I want to go a little bit faster.
Greetings I’m in Michigan I just purchased a smart travel E bike out of the box it goes 35 miles per hour. Is there any way I can get it to go faster???
Of course. What's the brand? You just have to get into developer mode. Since they removed the magnet on the newer ebikes, you just have to get into developer mode and raise the max speed. Most I've gotten with a 1000W motor so far is 42MPH though without changing the tire size. But if you do that the speedometer won't be accurate, but will go a few miles faster. So keep in mind unless it's super powerful 1500W or more motor it won't go much faster
Lectric XP 3.0 has anyone been able to defeat the 20 mph max for throttle only by changing out the M5 Lectric display with a Generic M5 display? I don’t need 28 mph throttle only but 25 would be great with zero pedaling. I am unable to figure out how this bike knows I am pedaling, it’s a 2023 bike and there is no external magnets and some of the program modes in the Lectric M5 display will not allow you to change certain options
Hi my name is Bernie I was wondering how I might have put my speedometer into kg per hour instead of mph after I tried the speed hack which work by the way I know this because I paced a friends car and got 5 more mph.. but I screwed up my speedometer and the kilometers per hour. How can I clear this back to regulus specs. And start again. Except with the kilometers per hour business my bike is a Tot guard 27.5 500 watt .. I'm 73 and I love it I just think I may have done something wrong.
I can't speak for any ebike. Only the ones we review. If you are getting an ebike that will cause any battery to overheat, I would 100% avoid that ebike. How much is the bike? You can get one from amazon for $500 that you can go 40 mph after unlocking and it's incredibly comfortable. We just posted one on the channel today.
@@NRGSPORTSANDHOBBY i am getting a onebot s7 and was wondering if the speed unlocking works on all e bikes, I haven’t heard of any overheating and fires on that e bike. It is one of the better ones people say, it is a 350w peak but 250w regular with 36v
You can with those. You have to get into developer mode. All bikes have it. Usually holding two buttons at the same time for 10 seconds. Plus and minus or power and minus. Depends on the display type. This ebike can be adjusted without tire side adjustment cause they sell them to all countries. We have a video on a similar display. Check it out
Did you watch our newer video on this subject? it matches your display better. You have to do the max speed increase and the tire. Then do the back tire raise throttle trick we show to see ebike max speed before riding. It will be slower do to your weight and motor power though. Our ebike has 1200W motor and we get 43. That's about right. If you have under 1000W you likely won't get much more than 28-30 unless you are super light and the bike is light
I'm sorry, it might be the restrictions on the panel. We have many videos on different panels on the channel for you showing how to do it with different bike panels. Make sure to check those out. It's very rare to not have a developer mode on an ebike (as long as you have a throttle and screen)
Remember this works with different speeds on different bike panels, but I haven't found a bike I can't do it with. Subscribe and reach out if you need help with yours. Thanks for supporting the channel.

Sounds like a great unit. I would LOVE to check it out in person.
Here are the P settings and what each one does:
P0: Fixed setting that indicates when the wheel diameter needs to be changed
P1: Fixed setting that is usually the default voltage
P2: Fixed setting that shows the minimum voltage and wheel size
P3: Fixed setting that shows the speedometer speed setting
P4: Types of speed display, such as Km/h (0) or mp/h (1)
P5: Types of start mode, such as kick start
P6: Cruising mode setting
P7: Pick up speed
P8: Max speed setting, ranging from 1-100%
P9: Electric brake strength
@@NRGSPORTSANDHOBBY I have the P settings figured out. I can't figure out how to adjust the percentage of power applied in each pedal assist position which I have set for 7 levels. The manual says they are adjustable and says see schedule 2 and no schedule 2 is listed anywhere i can find. On pedal assist level 1 i pedal like crazy in 7th gear and cruise at 24mph. Way too fast foe the 1 position.
When you called the brand, what did they say?
I’m looking at Pedego and Aventon e-bikes. First, which one would you recommend? They both have panels so I could do this with them? Thanks!
Yes, watch our secret menu video. It explains each setting and how to get it to go faster
I got a Aventon sinch.. I have turned the settings up so it goes 21 and 28 Paddle assist. How do I modify it to go faster?
I need help with My Jasion ebx ,the battery level don't read right and things are all out of WACK now
Did you change the battery voltage setting? don't do that. Watch our recent video that shows what each setting means and how to switch it. Will help you significantly

i have a monday moterbike i want to do this with it could you help me figure out how?
How do you do it to happyrun G60 tank . Id like to get it faster then 28-32 mph
I don't blame you. We have a video with that panel on the channel. I would scroll through our videos, not just this one

Genius stuff my guy. Please tell me this will work on my Ridstar q 20 pro

I am in Canada and I have a Stromer ST5.
Any idea if it is possible to unlock?
I haven't actually tested that ebike. If it has a panel similar to one of the panels on any of our 5 unlocking videos, you can. I would watch those and look for a similar panel.
I’m looking to get an e-bike and I don’t know many but I see hi boy p7 on sale for $800 rather than 1700. it has a 500 watt motor. How fast can I get this bike going if you have ever tried this model?
500W motor maybe 25mph. Go for 1000W or more if you want speed (52V battery if possible)
Thanks, Jim
Eahora you can't unlock, I have the Romeo Pro and 32 is the fastest it will go also. I do have the dual motor version coming which goes 45. Sorry
Oh yeah, 32 is great
Hey great stuff! I noticed you have a Rattan in one of your videos, I do too. Are you able to unlock it furthur with the panel method as well? Thanks
Yes, Rattan actually you can unlock with just the panel. Mine went up to 40mph
I wouldn't think you could do any better with that motor size. Sorry
I just got the totgard 48v 500w 27.5" ebike.. I turned all the settings all the way up and the mph read 59.3, but im still actually only going 20mph.. any ideas of what else i could do to go a little bit faster?
Yeah, I've heard this with the totgard. Did you watch our newer video? There is a specific setting on that you need to adjust
@@NRGSPORTSANDHOBBY which newer video?
If you click our channel name, and turn on notifications you will see the video and be notified of future videos. We show different types of panels in different videos.
Is there any way to get more torque? I really wish I had a granny gear ! Slow the roll with out stalling ??
That's all in the motor. Maybe get an ebike with 750w or more. All our 750w ebikes have plenty of torque. Some of our 350w not so much
My Jasion ebx claims 25MPH on ads but mine seemed to top out near 24.7 MPH without pedaling
Just looked it up 36V and 250W. You won't be able to go any faster sadly. Maybe you can trade it in for a faster one?
Have u done any changes on the cyrusher ranger bike? De restricted u get 18 to 20mph in pas 1
I'm getting one next week. PA5 should get 31 based on specs
Does this work on a Addmotor M-360 trike . I don't think it will.
I can't say for sure. But it will with most. We have a recent video posted that will show how to do it if your panel is different
Can you post a happyrun g50 options thanks would be greatly appreciated
Be happy to. We have two of those coming next week from Alibaba. Great ebike for $490
I have a rad power. Bike rad power plus and can only get it to 40km. Yes I’m in Canada. It’s maximum wattage is 500
Just wondering if you know how to boost it ? Thanks
Rad makes great ebikes. Unfortunately with that size motor it's likely at it's limit. You might be able to get 2-3 km, but nothing significant.
Please Send link for magnet I bought a wooken 500w fat tire it says 20 mph top speed. I’d like to increase that if possible
@@NRGSPORTSANDHOBBY thanks for your advice! If I have any questions down the road hopefully you or your videos will help me along. Thanks again!
How do you unlock the act?Best core step over not step through step over.
Or is it even possible
Our recent video shows you how to unlock just about any ebike. Did you watch it?

So you wanted the video I just linked with a replacement panel?
Can u show how to do this on a jasion eb3 it only has a power button
Just swap the panel. I have videos on how
Hey. Just bought an xp lite from Lectric. Do you know if this bike can do this hack?
Most of the ebikes we review on this channel can be unlocked and we offer HUGE discount codes on all of them. I don't believe Lectric can do this unfortunately.
Are you able to do this on a Jasion EB7 2.0 ebike ?
Yes, we did it with ours. Super easy
Thanks I will need help with mine if you have the time . And thank you
Hi, just subscribed. Is there a way to get the Bird Ebike to go faster than 17mph?
Try it with my Aipas A2 Fat tire bike, didn't work for mine. Any other Ideas?
We have 4 videos on different panels. All depends on what you have
Is there a way to increase speed without magnets? So, for example, what if you don’t use the peddle feature? Only throttle… anyway for that scenario?
Yes, we have a few different panel videos. Usually the panel or controller can bypass the limiter. Just find the video with your display and follow along.
I Have a Vivi 350 or 500 w. If i replace the shitty "screen" (which isnt exactly a screen) that has 3 modes with a lcd or LED screen, can i go faster?
No, if your model does not have a screen, the only unlock capable mode would be to remove the limiter wire or magnet (depending on the model). However keep in mind, the motor won't go much faster than maybe 25-28mph. Better to get a larger motor ebike to go faster
Hey is this able to be done with the 1000w coswheel gt20?, and could you explain how please
Question will this effect the actual odometer readings?
no
I have an ebkacocy 400 watt e-bike, it tops out at 22 mph.
@@NRGSPORTSANDHOBBY ok. It didn’t say anything about it in the manual. I bought it new from the companies website. It tops out at 22.
You might be stuck with that. If you want to upgrade, I have a few favorites that I keep for myself. I have reviewed over 200 ebikes and there are 3 standouts that all can go up to 43mph and haul a good amount of rate with long range (200 miles in one case).
I turned my settings up, but now the throttle doesnt do anything, just the peddle assist 😢 help me 😬
Which settings did you turn up? Each ones does something different. One changes your ebike between classes on some ebikes. You need to familiarize yourself with your different P settings. Did you watch our newest video? We go over each setting
ua-cam.com/video/UAEpj7itBcs/v-deo.html
Mine just has a few keys to turn the bike on and lock the battery in. No screen just a battery level display. How would i got about doing this?...
Look for the magnet on the back spokes. Sounds like you have an old school ebike
Hej I have a 250w Himo c26 without throttle. Do you have any ideas to get a few more mph. 16mph just now.
250w motor isn't designed to go much faster. Wattage is the most important for speed. Maybe trade up to a 500W or 750W? They aren't much more and you get a ton more speed and torque
would love a bit ofhelp i bought a Rich Bit 022 is there anyway of derestrictig it 23.8 mph pedalling like crazy lol

Did you turn off the bike and turn it back on?
Any chance of getting more speed out of a Voltbike Outback ?
…anything I’ve seen said no. 🤷🏻♂️

No, honestly crap. I have since upgraded to an oil based one. Much better
My ebike only has p01 display brightness and po2 which allows me to swirch between miles and km and p16 which doesnt let me do anything on it do you know how i could disable speed limiter?
What ebike manufacturer? Did you see our video on how to replace your panel with an upgrade? Its on the channel
i have the vivi 500w ebike. unfortunately it doesn't come with a digital panel but rather just a small LED light kind of control. How would I remove the limiter with this kind of bike?
I'm not sure without seeing the panel. Most you hold the up and down for 3-5 seconds to get to the hidden menu
Will this void warranty if you change it after an issue?
No, I've never had one deny a warranty claim regardless
I am trying to eliminate the speed limited on a Haro Skwad ... system is locked .. any ideas ?
Did you upgrade the panel like we show in our most recent video?
@@NRGSPORTSANDHOBBY I did not , the connection is not the typical round connection but more like a tear drop plug
Sounds like a very unique ebike. I'm not familiar with this brand. Why did you pick it? Are you outside the US?
@@NRGSPORTSANDHOBBY no we are a bike shop in NJ. It is sold by Haro.. but looks like the controller is a canadian model. Truly a pain in the @ss. My customer of course wants to go a little faster than the 20mph limit and Bafang made this thing a total lock out
Yeah almost sounds like it needs to be a modified controller situation. Might not be worth the work.
Will this affect the max range when you modify the max speed in the display settings?
The more power you push with your ebike the less the range. This goes for whether you unlock it or not. Example level 2 will have a longer range that level 5. So YES you will get less range ofcourse
@NRGSPORTSANDHOBBY Thanks for the tip and information. This is helpful.
I have a Miclon cyber 100 and it has a different display. It has a power button on the right side and two pedal assist buttons on the button. Plz help
Miclon is a bit of a budget ebike. I do not believe you will get any improvements.
How do I subscribe? I have an Aventon. Level 2 and need more speed.
I have the Ridstar Q20 Pro dual motor dual battery & no matter what I do in the settings it won't go over 31 mph, any ideas?
I have not unlocked one of those. Did you refer to your manual for possible panel restrictions?
Nothing in there that I noticed, I'll have another look, I know it'll go faster because the 48v single motor does 31, mine is the 52v

Help on a totem victory 2.0. How do i get into the settings? Thanks
That particular ebike is kind of more of a budget ebike. You can unlock, but it could ruin your motor. It's not powerful enough. Try and get an ebike with a 750w motor or larger. I believe that one is 350w. You would want minimum 500w to really unlock the full potential
Awesome thank you for your help 😊
Please, if you don’t mind, can you show it on the third bike you have it in the video I have the same exact one i’m talking about Oraimo Electric Bike and I’m trying to unlock the speed limit.

I bought it off Amazon and I’m really happy with it but I want to go a little bit faster.
Great affordable ebike, but not ideal for raising speed. Too weak of a motor. Our 1200W ebike only gets up to 43mph
It's P08 setting. Raise it from 32 to 100 and it will override the limiter and go up to max speed
I just got a Dawes spire 1.0 2023 model. How do I hack that as its legal limit is only 15
I'm not familiar with that ebike, but maybe one of our videos will help. We just posted a video on how to upgrade your panel. Maybe watch that one
Changing those settings are just a toggle once you get into settings. Let me know if you get it figured out.
New subscriber here..ive got 2 jasion EB7's how can i get more speed out of it..20mph is boring...
Jasion EB7 can get up to about 30 mph with a rider under 200lbs. Just have to put it in developer mode. What our New Method video. Same process.
Does it work on all bikes with panels, like the mini ones from
Costco? Also will it cause the battery to heat up more and try harder?

The onebot is super small. oraimo is a full size bike and much more powerful
I have a aventon adventure and i can't change the wheel size on the screen it's locked kinda do you know anything about those bikes
Check it out
But it does say on the digital display when you scroll through it Ave speed and Max speed which is 35 that I've never been close to just 28
Did you watch our newer video on this subject? it matches your display better.
I have an aventon aventure v2, I am unable to change settings, any assistance would be appreciated, thanks Russ

I'm sorry, it might be the restrictions on the panel. We have many videos on different panels on the channel for you showing how to do it with different bike panels. Make sure to check those out. It's very rare to not have a developer mode on an ebike (as long as you have a throttle and screen)
