Ye 4 seconds up, 4 seconds down is the best rep speed for HIT I think.
Dorians also did several direct sets/exercises per body part.
Where as I think 1 set to beyond failure, works the best for me.
Just slowing it down and focusing on the movement really helps. Works on tricep push downs greatly.
Oh yeah. I had a client do triceps pushdown with a straight bar, very strict form. He was confident that he could do around 26kg like he sued to. I told him that he could not, and when he started, he found out that he could indeed not do it with such strict form and so slow.
That’s the premier lat building machine. They are super rare at most gyms.
Idk if I was doing it wrong but it just hurt my shoulders like crazy and I didn’t feel my back whatsoever
@ loosen your grip and imagine trying to push water down with the back of your arms. Go lighter also.
Dorian's method is the best way period.
Awesome machine. Yeah dorian seemed to go faster in blood and guts . Mentzer had his clients reps do 2-1-4 cadence
HIT is the way! Exercising as Ken Hutchins defines it is pure therapy expesificly Super Static or Super Slow protocols
I didnt get the point. The short was "too short" to allow the idea to be fully explained
Lmfao? You clearly didn't listen to what he was saying
The point is:
The only difference is safety.
The stimulus is the same.
And Dorian’s dose was higher.
@@jimperry4420 100% stimulus cannot be exceeded.
@@aliendroneservices6621Actually going faster is equivalent to using more resistance, because it takes more force.
Slow tempo is OK, but you have to vary, the most important thing is to go to failure
Then going slower has a similar effect to doing more reps with less resistence? (since going slower takes less power/force)
@@red-baitingswine8816
1. Reps do not stimulate.
2. Resistance does not stimulate.
@@aliendroneservices6621 In that case we might as well do 1 rep with no resistance. 😍
@@red-baitingswine8816 Zero reps can be effective. Have you found you are able to produce, with minimal momentum, the desired 100% effort, and failure within 60-90 seconds, with zero resistance?
@@aliendroneservices6621 0 reps. Ok - isometric. But some reps are better. And resistance is necessary to stimulate. And going to extreme failure. So resistance/reps do stimulate.
@@aliendroneservices6621 Going slower, less force is required, but for a longer time, in both cases doing the same amount of work.
I think dorian now does slower reps than he did in blood and guts
