Super vlog as always love castles 😊 we like the Morris sites but do find some some of their Many rules a bit bizarre at times it made me chuckle now they allocated you a pitch when you had plenty to choose from 😃 enjoy your stay
Thanks for that. We were diverted off the A49 through Ludlow in the dead of night this year coming back from our cvan in Devon, we enjoy the A roads, and thought it looked quite nice. Now, at least we've seen a bit of it in the day light. Looks like we need to visit. Have a great break. 👍

All the Morris Leisure sites are lovely.The best one for us is oxen hall,it's just a 10 minute bus ride into shrewsbury town centre, same as stanmore hall a short bus ride into bridgnorth.Great vlog guys keep up the good work

Hereford where I am originally from is stunning and has a gorgeous Cathedral to visit which is free to get into and Leominster are also really lovely places to visit and are both only a short drive from where you are

Welcome to my home county😉. Lots of history and interesting places to visit, you'll have to come back again to fit it all in. We have stopped at that site and some of there other sites always found them to be very clean and well run. Enjoy your stay👍
Hi Bob. I know that Hereford road really well. Love that drive. At this time of year we always spot the the huge balls of mistletoe that grow high in the branches of trees particularly in that area. In fact at 8:42 you can see the very thing I mentioned on the left in the trees.
It’s surprising how many sites will only allow 2 dogs per pitch. We have three small dogs and we’re a bit stuck in Wales recently because the two sites we wanted to stay on had a 2 dog limit, I even offered to pay for two pitches but sadly that wasn’t allowed either. C&MC sites are fine with no limit but on affiliated sited I now check in advance of the trip to make sure we don’t get stuck. I did raise it with the club because they advertise access to 1000s of sites and you find you’re welcome at a fraction of those! Thanks for another interesting video full of comprehensive information as always.

But I will have to settle with a long walk on the beach. I am happy though to live out by the sea and the country side. Not many people around here. Haven’t watched the whole video yet, but interesting to see how the site has developed over time. We stayed there with our caravan during the first year it was open. The Ludlow food festival was on and there was a shuttle minibus service to the town and back. We saw the Hairy Bikers doing a cooking demonstration in the castle. Well worth the visit, and a very well appointed site with excellent facilities.
Thanks to one of your previous links, this morning I received my 'RidgeMonkey' compact sandwich toaster. It's great. My only regret was to buy the small one at £21 ish. I'll be buying the bigger one now. One for home and one for the van. Thank you Bob and Jenny x
Have a great time in Ludlow Touring park. Ludlow Farm shop and Garden Centre is worth a visit - its 4-5 miles towards Shrewsbury (you prob. passed it on your way down). They have a nice cafe and are very strict on Covid regs. It’s a lovely site - we usually stay once every year - it was in fact our last trip. All the Morris Leisure sites are of a similar standard. We’ve never stayed there while the Xmas decorations are up - impressive!

It's lovely at lodlow where you drove through in lodlow i have drove a coach through it its so nice at lodlow. The market is good i think its on a Thursday and Saturday . Nice one bob

Shh you’re telling everyone about our favourite town and site for a winter mini break (we usually go between Christmas and New Year). All of the Morris leisure sites are very good. We can recommend CSONS cafe at the Mill on the Green. Fantastic location overlooking the river with the castle behind. The food is beyond excellent and the ingredients are locally sourced. They have a good range of vegetarian meals and are dog friendly. They are currently doing takeaways. Enjoy
The reason some sites don't allow Gazebos is because if the wind gets up, and they are unattended, the wind can fire them through the side of a caravan or Motorhome. I know we had one come through the side of our bran new caravan. Not our Gazebos may I add. Great videos Bob & Jenny.

Great for you and Jenny to get away. The pitch size is very large. Maybe a possible comment for the future for those with larger awnings (Vango) would be good.

We are booked in for Christmas. So here’s hoping for a tier2 on the 16th. First time won’t be with the kids in 30 years so thought going away would be a distraction. Site looks lovely. We stayed at Oxon for our very first trip.
Lovely looking site and Ludlow is a nice place aswell. Have you ever thought of changing your gas system to a refillable one? We've got safill bottles it works out a hell of a lot cheaper than calor! Keep up the good work!
Had a week there before lockdown, great site but a little traffic noise early morning. Nice thing is you can walk into Ludlow and get the bus to go elsewhere as it picks up outside the site. Heated floors in the showers 👍

We stayed at Willow Bank one new year and we were the only one's on the touring field. We loved it
