We visited Bunree for 4 nights and then moved onto Morvich for 4 nights. We loved it so much we booked to call for another 4 nights on our way home, arriving home today. Watching this made me yearn to back😊.
We had our first mini tour of Scotland back in August , it was based on your videos , we travelled from Preston to Strathclyde then on to Bunree then glen Nevis, on to inverness then Edinburgh and last stop at Moffatt. Thanks for the great videos guys keep them coming
Hi Jenny, Bob and of course Poppy. Another great video thank you and like you we love Bunree and the Ardnamurchan peninsula especially some of the hidden gems such as Castle Tioram (especially for Poppy) and the fantastic beaches at Sanna Sands and Ardtoe.
Sorry to see you were plagued by midges. They were bad at Kinlochewe in July when we were there. We still loved the site, and enjoyed retracing our journey with you to Bunree, another favourite spot. Thank you for this video, we’ve really enjoyed watching this tour.
Hi Bob we stated here in the summer, our pitch was located opposite the Loch, the folks running this site are outstanding highly, highly recommended site folks. Love the channel Bob keep them coming peace love and respect to everyone ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Bob and Jenny, what a lovely drive through the mountains and then the clouds coming over the tops of them amazing. Loved your last video to Bunree, such a lovely site with beautiful views of the loch, yes so very peaceful, x
Great video as always, my wife drove past you guys on Loch Ness the day you arrived and we live in Ballachulish so Jenny’s pronunciation gave us a laugh.
As always Bob & Jenny thoroughly enjoyed the video, had to smile at the calf blocking the way, I expect a sharp clap of the hands would have sent it on its way, but, you have to take care if the cow was nearby. Love the scenery. Thank you and take care.
Lovely to see Bunree again 😃 seems like a lifetime since we were there in July 2020 We also did Rosemarkie last October and were lucky enough to have a waterside pitch think you would like it too 😊 Stay Safe 😜👍
Lovely drive south and a beautiful campsite. It was nice to meet you both. We were travelling about 5 minutes in front of you after Invergarry coming from Skye. The coo's are pretty stubborn in Scotland..lol.
Absolutely love Bunree campsite been twice- my favourite campsite never tire of that view! We did the cable car up Nevis Range and that was worth it the views were amazing from there ! 😁
We hope you get better weather than when we were there a few days ago (though we had a fine time!). If you go over on the Corran ferry, turn right and after 1/2 mile you’ll find the Ardgour craft brewery - recommended (but no cover if raining).
Hi bob,Jenny and adorable poppy, what an amazing sight those low clouds were, loving your journey around Scotland, thanks again for sharing with us,take care and stay safe😊😊😊
Hi Bob , it was lovely to meet you Bunree, enjoy the rest of your trip . We are on our way back to sunny Milton Keynes now . Enjoy the rest of your trip , regards to Jenny . 👍
Seeing the Adamo as you were leaving I have posted as I said I would on your video which bed to choose. We will be doing our Scotland trip next month. Looks like you have had another great tour so far. I was surprised to hear there were midges still about hope they will be gone. Hope our trip goes as well you have been to some really nice places giving us ideas for maybe next year also.
Hi Bob, having seen your many Scottish videos we have decided to take the plunge and do a tour in 2022, but as we live near the south coast its a bit of a drive to Scotland, so I am looking for some information. 1) Where are the best places to go as we have only 2 weeks to complete the trip. 2) When is the best time of year to go. 3) As I have seen in your video you can at times be plagued by midges, so when is the best time of year to avoid them. Great videos, keep them coming.
Two weeks isn't long enough with the drive you have to do. Stay off the beaten track. Try to explorer just one area. Scotland is a big country. Do Dumfries and Galloway or the Black Isle. Everyone is doing the NC500, avoid it! Early spring or October is probably the best time to go to avoid the midges, no guarantees on the weather though anytime of year.
@@BobEarnshawMoHo Cheers Bob, thank you for info. We would go for longer, but our dog is very nervous & would be very restricting, so we will have to put him in kennels for the time we are away.
weve been up twice to scotland from south west ..... good over night stop is the metal bridge inn < carlisle "free" have toilets and showers just pop in for a drink or meal worth booking slot as can be busy
Feel i have to correct you there, you said inverness fc ground was smaller than the emptyhad, which it is, but they still manage to have more fans at their games lol x
You seem to really connect with the highlands, is it you’re favourite place to tour? (Midgies aside) 🤭 Rocking the midge net Bob, try eating marmite, they don’t like it ☺️ x
I stay about 10 miles up from Onich at the end of Loch Linnhe in Caol. I think the midges have been not bad this year , I put it down to the dry weather we had from April till mid August. Unless I'm finally immune to them after 54 years.. 🙏
Hi Bob and Jenny. We are travelling to Scotland and have booked Bunree to celebrate my 60th birthday . Are there any places nearby that we can walk to, where we could book a meal to celebrate. Thank you for your wonderful videos. We love following you on your informative trips .
There is a restaurant across the road at Inchree, (think it's closed now) but I'm not aware of any others in walking distance. There are better sites for eating out, like Moffat for instance. Bunree is more about peace and quiet and views.
At 8:18 when you have just passed the Caledonian Canal, you go past 'Torvean' caravan park (on the right). It's got to be the worst site I've stayed at in Scotland.
Hi , we love watching your videos 🤗, might I ask how long have you been traveling about in your motor home ,? have you always had motorhomes or have you had caravans ? the reason I ask is weve always had caravans , but we're looking to change our old van and are debating whether to get another caravan or a motor home , which do you think are the best for traveling about ?, There's only two of us so we only want a small motorhome if we chose that , any advice would be welcome 😊🤔, Thank You ,Take Care x
We've never had a caravan, started Motorhoming in 2003. With taking the car, we can use the motorhome as a caravan, so we have the best of both worlds.
No, it will go back a short while in a straight line and will go round corners with some wheel scrubbing, but the easiest thing I do if the need arises, is unhitch and drive the car under it's own power, with the tow frame lifted on the wedge.
The caravan site you passed and made a comment it’s still not full ,that is the one we were in it’s empty every day about 10 and by 5pm it’s full again and according to the owners it’s been like that for about 5 months.
Hi Bob and Jenny, we stayed at Bunree back in July, we went on your recommendation from last year. Thank you it was a lovely site, we made a few short videos and uploaded to our UA-cam channel. Regards Sharon and Paul
Absolutely loved this vlog it brought back so many happy memories of our holiday in Scotland xxx
You are just making me jealous we love bunree as I said when I met you at channory point but have fun and we will be there sometime
We visited Bunree for 4 nights and then moved onto Morvich for 4 nights. We loved it so much we booked to call for another 4 nights on our way home, arriving home today. Watching this made me yearn to back😊.
Yes, one of our favourite sites
Another great video thanks 😊👍
Enjoy the peace and quiet.
We did, thanks.

Sounded like a great trip.
Hi Bob and Jenny, loved watching you drive to Bunree, such a lovely site. Promised ourselves a trip there when we finally pick our new van up x
Sure you'll love it!
Yet again a wonderful shared trip!! Thanks again for sharing and keeping me happy.
Enjoyed as usual. Yes have been, in last pitch on the corner before the Loch side ones. Loved the stay there.

Lovely site to relax on. We drove past Bunree last week. Enjoying a catch-up of your videos. Great tour Bob and Jenny 😃🚐👍🏻 Trev

Hi Bob, jenny & poppy, it looks really peaceful there with spectacular views, have a lovely few days xx
Excellent as per normal Bob & Jenny 👍 love Bunree one of my favourite as well.

Bunree is such a lovely site
Great Vlog guys, will definitely put Bunree in our travel plans for next year. Thanks for showing it to us 😊

Stunning scenery, I'm really enjoying the trip! Must stir my husband into getting a motorhome! I'm sure he would love it!! X
Try hiring one first to find out if he does!
@@BobEarnshawMoHo Good tip 👍
Ardgour ales across the Loch is well worth a visit, very friendly micro brewery.
What a lovely site very nice vid thank you Bob & Jenny x💙

Love that site. We were there in 2019 on the very pitch you are on 😀
Think you both deserved a rest after the nervous indicator and the stubborn calf lol. Great video 😊
Lovely to see Bunree again 😃 seems like a lifetime since we were there in July 2020
We also did Rosemarkie last October and were lucky enough to have a waterside pitch think you would like it too 😊

We have been to bungee 2or3 times thought it was a very good site .
I can just see you ice climbing Bob x
Glad you can 😊

As it been ok towing your car on the highland roads . Great video by the way.
Yes, had no problems towing the car.

keep your eye out for pine martens .....I have seen them here

We did, back home now, thanks.
Bob use Avon skin so soft the military guys use it too it’s effective
The recipe for 'skin so soft' has changed and it's not as effective any more (guess it still keeps you 'so soft though!)😀

Would love to see you two tour Ireland oh and Poppy
So would I....
Great video
Bunree.......in our top 3 favourite sites.
How's the fuel situation up there?
Had no problems getting fuel at Fort William and Moffat.

We love Bunree too and finally got a lochside pitch this year. It is just stunning. What was the "Rosemarket" site you mentioned?
No matter I just figured it out! Will look at Rosemarkie in the future. We like North Ledaig at Oban too - though it was a very large site.
We drove past Rosemarkie in the Black Isle video. ua-cam.com/video/eHAutC0cnyc/v-deo.html
Was Bunree also Midge ridden? - the one thing that puts me off touring Scotland- can’t bear the blighters but they’re fond of me!
No, I don't believe I've ever been bothered by midges at Bunree campsite. You'll get a few in the wooded hills across the road.
@@BobEarnshawMoHo Thanks, and for the videos too!
Feel i have to correct you there, you said inverness fc ground was smaller than the emptyhad, which it is, but they still manage to have more fans at their games lol x
Last season definitely!
🤣🤣
Did you check your indicator bulbs?
Bulbs on the car were fine, I'll explain in the video when get to Blair Drummond.
You seem to really connect with the highlands, is it you’re favourite place to tour? (Midgies aside) 🤭 Rocking the midge net Bob, try eating marmite, they don’t like it ☺️ x
I love Marmite, but didn't bring any, interesting tip!

The midges at Kinlochewe were worse, but not the huge swarms I remember from years ago.

Hello Bob Jenny , could I ask how you find reversing with the Up on the rear of your MH. Do you find it awkward , many thanks
