Hi Bob and Jenny, a lovely tranquil site, nice doggy field for Poppy she has fun playing with the other dog. Loving this tour , look forward to your next video x
Thank you both for reviewing this Tranquil site. We are now staying here for a couple of days, the views are stunning, will certainly return on another tour away from the Isle of Man. We have the car with us and still managed to negotiate the narrow roads. Best wishes to you both ❤️🇮🇲🇮🇲
We love Longnor. We have stayed in the village many times where they filmed Peak Practice. Brilliant fish and chips from the little chippy....top tip 😉
Never heard of this one Bob, we like the Tranquil Parks too. We are using CS stops and they have been peaceful too. Safe travels to the three of you 😊🐾
Love travelling on the road with you all, as well as arriving at sites. Hope the weather better for you both. 👍🏴🏴🏴🏴👍🏴🏴🏴🏴👍
In our neck of the woods guys. As soon as you mentioned traffic jams we knew it was us! Gorgeous part of the world and so quiet and relaxing. Looked a nice site so hopefully you have had a relaxing time. Stay safe. Mal and Dave
Know Longnor well as we used the area a lot Regarding Peak Practice a lot of the scenes were in Biggin and Harrington both worth a visit A great pub is the Manifold inn where the food is great Looking forward to more videos from you of the area
Hi Bob, when you turned left off the A515 at the book store, if you turned immediate right to Harpur Hill, my cousin runs a campsite called Cloverfields, adult site that is very nice.
Some good driving there Bob, personally I don't think with my heights problem I'll be stopping at such a lovely site looks awsome (some narrow roads too). Enjoy your time there all the best.
Hi Bob and Jenny . Just watched your Longnor wood vlog and realised aa you passed the Duke of York pub in Pomeroy we were the caravan in the carpark waiting to book in there. You should try it. Its lovely and peaceful with great views and local walks.
Hi Bob n Jenny Went to LWood couple years ago - nice quiet site - I found downside was the approach towing a caravan and imagine even more hairy with an 8 footer. I’m on Three and had no phone or data signal there either and think Freeview was dodgy as well Other than that another good Tranquil Park site Thanks for uploading and enjoy rest of your trip Howard
Hey guys loved the Campsite Tour. Just wondering what did you do with your time spent there. I haven't found a video in your list of Adventures. Cheers from George and Jane
@@BobEarnshawMoHo Hi Bob what's the link to video or name of video. We have just done 7 days there and quite a lot of walks in that area so really just wondered if you done the same or different. The 112 year old mans Gravestone and story interested me the most. Church in Longmor.....
That looks like a lovely site. I think we'll save that one for when we get the self levelling system put on. We have t been to any of the places you read out so seems like a great place for us. ~ Lin xx
The “pitches” in the parks where you stay are so well groomed right down to the gravel drives. I follow some American RVers and a lot of the campsites are wooded, with dirt drives. The UK seems to be more refined, even when camping. Wouldn’t it be lovely to have energy like Poppy.
Thanks for sharing Bob and Jenny nice site shame it’s so far from anywhere in walking distance. Think I’ll stick with Buxton C&M club site.go to my first tranquil site in October red kite mid wales
Surprised you went via Glutton Bridge which is a narrow road up the hill through the lights. I’d have turned off the A515 onto the B5054 to Hulme End via Hartington, then up to Longnor on the B5053. Manifold Chiipy is named after the River Manifold which flows down the valley.

Hey Bob - can you advise what you use to hook up at home - we have our MH in storage so never hook up at home but planning to visit friends and hopefully utilise their electric! Can you point me in the right adapter please
Question regarding your Garmin Sat Nav. Could you find the site address/road on the device’s maps & create a Waypoint instead of using the postcode which didn’t help for the last part of your journey? You’re near or in the manifold Valley and near the manifold river re the chippy’s name.
What an amazing views.
Hi Bob and Jenny, a lovely tranquil site, nice doggy field for Poppy she has fun playing with the other dog. Loving this tour , look forward to your next video x
Great video as usual. Good to see Poppy running around at that lovely site. 👍
This was the first site I took my old caravan too, to be honest the only one until I sold it. Great adult only site and very peaceful
Great video.
Lovely to see poppy enjoying her self running round.☺
Thanks guys, another very helpful vlog. We turn to your vlogs to see if Mike will be happy driving to the site. Best wishes Mike and Donna
Thanks 👍
Great to see Poppy making friends and enjoying the freedom of the dog run, enjoy your stay
Hi Bob , Jenny & Poppy that looks like a lovely site , great to see poppy being able to run around making friends on the dog walk too.
Great teamwork. Jenny is an exceptional navigator.

Great vlog as always. Good to see ‘pops’ having a good run about too

Glad you like them!
Lovely site and surrounding countryside 😊👍
Hi Bob & Jenny,
I’m really enjoying the variety of videos.
Brilliant thanks for sharing
Brilliant as always. We love Longnor and can recommend the fish and chip shop in the village.
Yes, I did sample the chippy!
Looks a lovely park, the sort of site I love towing to LOL
There were some big caravans there, so people do tow there.

Thanks, I imagine that was a bit hairy! They have Freesat connections there now.

Think we just had a rest there, catching up on editing. I did film my long walk down to the village in the last of this series.

Thanks, we tend to go to Club sites, which are well groomed, as are these Tranquil Parks!
The pitches should be in the dog walk with views like that!! Thank you both.
Hi Bob and Jenny, love you videos.we never seem to see any people around the camsites, does everybody stay in the campers or just out and about
Think it's fair to say, it's a mixture. Also, I try not to film other people.

We followed the directions the site had on their website, bear in mind we don't know the area.
Surprised at the site. I wouldn’t like to tow a caravan up that hill!

You need an adapter cable for the three pin electric plug. Like this amzn.to/3lhyGw8

We could have done, but we we wanted to follow the sites directions as it was the first time there and they were clear not to follow a sat nav.
Whoops it is always known as Puss Thorpe 🐱A14/M1 junction when we go that way especially to the NEC
The road does look somewhat similar to cheddar gorge, however a bit less cheesy. 🧀
Lol
My wife was a bit concerned about your excessive driving speed Bob, until I explained that the video was speed up !!
I never speed, the camera makes it look faster than it is.
Go Poppy, go Poppy Go
Hi Bob and Jenny another question, do you eat out at pubs or do you cook in your motorhome
Since the end of lockdown we have eaten in the motorhome, apart from one meal in the garden at the Brown Cow at Burrs Country Park
Middle of nowhere!! Don't think so unless you are a townie🤣🤣
We are townies. This is the middle of nowhere.
Not like you to avoid Caravan and Motorhome Club sites. We use tranquil parks whenever we can.
We aren't avoiding them, but we did fancy some quiet sites during August.
