Last week and away from Motorhoming, My company sent me to Alloa in Scotland. Sophie was allowed to come too for the ride in a nice Jaguar car. We stayed overnight in Sterling, but couldn't resist calling into Moffat on our way home on Thursday. A lovely little town inspired by you where we stayed for two nights on route for our last Scottish Highland tour. A walk up and down the high street brought back many memories. Happy Christmas to you, Jenny and Poppy. Dave and Sophie xx
Hi guys, lovely video again, thank you very much. We stayed at Clippesby Hall in Norfolk our adopted home county last week, Can't recommend enough. We were told that Love to Stay in Shrewsbury was good but Clippesby Hall nocks the spots off it. Happy and safe travels xx
We stayed there on a serviced pitch with our old caravan a few years ago. It had an unusual water connection for which we had to buy both an adaptor and a second length of pipe from their handy shop (where else!) They seemed surprised that we considered it unusual and were very quick to say that it was all C&MC equivalent standard. Never needed that connector once since (or the second length of pipe!)

Talking about chips....I can highly recommend the chip shop at the end of the road. Enjoy your stay.

I LOVE it and the MAIN REASON why I started WATCHING! Greetings from Arabia! ☺
I spend hours putting in chapters so people can skip the driving part. I don't film a lot of motorways, but the junctions and interesting bits like the the Mersey Gateway. I like to show how I got there! If I was driving across America I'd still film how I got there, not as many roundabouts though!
@@BobEarnshawMoHo As I said, I only wanted it to be construstive feedback. Chapters are useful, but it's a shame to encourage people to skip. Could you not add a split screen of you in the cab more, or a live screen shot of google maps showing where you are? Only wanted to give some feedback to help.
@@vanlifetipstech I understand your feedback BUT I am not interested in looking at a split screen BUT living, here, in Arabia I LOVE the greenery and white frost and how Bob slows down the filming and zooms in on important signs etc. ☺ I REALLY love EVERYTHING that he and Jenny (including their two dogs!), do to spend the EXTRA time in editing. It takes LONG hours: I know of choosing the RIGHT music etc etc!
-THANK YOU Bob from all of us who appreciate your videos and the EXTRA time in your production of them! ☺
I did used to do a picture in picture, at the beginning of our Arriving at videos. I might start doing that again. I do usually put a route map on the screen.
