Fixing up an old 92 EZGO, has the 4" lift. That said have you ever experimented with a tire and wheel combo 21x7x10? with maybe an offset wheel 4x3 or a 1" spacer with the standard wheel 3x4 offset.
We have not but the 21” tire height would fit under your EZGO with a 4” lift. If you go with a 4/3 offset wheel make sure you use a spacer set otherwise I’d have to think you’d be rubbing on the frame or steering components underneath.l - especially when turning
So happy I found this channel… so I’m upgrading my golf cart and The wheels that I have now are Speed Racer 18x10-10 Tire… that’s the first set of tires I had when I purchased my cart new …just ordered a new set of the speed racers And I noticed there’s a big difference my old set is four ply my new set is six ply… the 6 ply feels heavier and more song…I also noticed it’s has a 260 pounds per tire weight limit is that good? I just looked at my order and it says ATV tires. But the company said I can put it on my golf cart is this good to do
Eddie, tires are definitely transferable between ATV/UTV down to Golf Carts. The tires as long as they fit on the size wheel you have are not so much the issue. What you have to be careful with is the wheels themselves as golf cart wheels have a different bolt pattern from ATVs and UTVs. The Kenda Speed Racer is a great tire. Thank you for the encouraging comment. Keep checking out our channel for new videos!
@@GOLFCARTSTUFF The tires I sent back would’ve never have worked for me… each tire was rated 260 pounds… so question what is the best tire for 18 - 10-10 rim? I’m looking for something for grass and dirt also paths and Street
We haven’t seen a large number of folks asking for 14” steel wheels since it’s price driven and typically a utility application on farm or maintenance setting.
Good Vid!! I've got a 2014 EZ GO TXT (gas) with steel rear seat (cargo flip). Concerned that a 20 inch may rub with rear weight/passengers. Would the 2 inch mid rise lift kit from EZ GO be enough to make a 20 inch diameter tire work? thx much
Nice! We have had hundreds of EZGO Customers fit 20" tires under their EZGO carts without issue. With that said, the condition of rear springs will make make or break if you have significant weight on the rear. We recommend trying out the wheels and tires first as there is a good chance they will fit without issue. Should you run into an rubbing issue, you can upgrade to heavy duty rear leaf springs OR your 2" mid rise lift kit at that point.
The type tread style (off road/ turf / street) will NOT affect your turning radius. Where you will see a difference in turn radius is adding a lift kit and increasing your overall tire size. Outside of that, if you are simply changing the type of tread you have and keeping your same overall diameter, you will not see a difference in turn radius.
Yes and no. Once your cart is moving or going downhill you should find that your cart will have a higher overall speed (nothing extreme but slightly faster). However the cart will draw more power and be a little bit slower to get up to speed due to the larger diameter tires. This is where upgrading the motor and controller comes into play :-)
Will a 2021 Valor which comes with a factory 2" lift accept 22" tires without am additional lift kit? I'm planning on adding spacers to help with clearance issues with the front steering. Thanks
I actually came here to see what lift i need to add to my valor with the 2" lift since I just added 22x11x10 to it and it rubs a little when turning, I think a over all 4" lift will be needed.
Thanks for watching!! What other questions should we cover??
Thanks!! Using this info for my golf cart horn I’m installing

Hi is there a difference between an Ezgo and an I20 icon, when it comes to tires?
Will these wheels also fit a 2016 Cushman 72v Hauler Pro?

I have the ezgo 2five. Wondering if a 3 inch lift kit is available?
What is the largest size tire you can put on a stock ez-go cart using the original 8 inch wheels?
yeah ! where in the heck do you find standard 14" black aluminum wagon wheel rims? no frills!! standard black!!
got some 23x10-14's I want to mount!

Is this true for a 1994 ezgo marathon also? 20” will work with out a lift kit?
How big of a lift do I need to fit 26x9x14 in front and 26x11x14 in the rear?
On the 20” combo what size was the rim on the right with the all terrain tire?
That is a 12” Vampire Black Machined wheel with a 20x10-R12 off road tire. GTW Nomad or Sierra Rover would be two great 20x10-R12 off road options.

I’m guessing a street tire will be a lot less loud than my current off-road tires right?
That is correct!
Is this also true for 1999 ezgo?
You guys ignore the ezgo workhorse carts that can fit 22” with no lift…
Question: Do off road tires make a difference in turn radius? Would I get the same turn radius or less? Thx.

The bigger the tire the slower the cart will be correct?

We didn’t even notice that are EZGO carts aren’t parked back there. Great catch!
