Great boat, wonderful looking design. I wonder of if it will be replaced with the new design language introduced on the 460
we will let you know when Hanse lets us know. We will be at Dusseldorf in Jan 2022 so we will see whats new;)

Awesome boat and review... but it is quite challenging as a first boat.
We found her very easy and safe, she handles very well and you never feel out of control which for us is important, If you feel that the Hanse 388 is a little big might we suggest the Hanse 348 an excellent sailboat;)

Thanks for the review. How would you compare this boat to the X Yachts 40 in terms of quality and design as well as space and liveability?
It is difficult to compare as they are not in the same budget, They look very similar but are priced for different markets. Sorry that's not much help,
The interior of this boat feels like a house. If 100k-150k for a very good used boat. I should buy it because rent is getting high in my country. I wanna find a lake or bay to live in.

I think most sailboats are capable of sailing the world but I think there are many differences between a true blue-water boat and a production sailboat. A whole new video is on its way very soon;) We are big fans of HANSE sailboats mostly because their construction is on another level compared to other production manufactures. Thanks for watching;)

It's a sailboat, not a camper! It seems for you the most important thing is storage space, not technical data, structure, performances.....

It's actually only a 36 foot boat
All the cheap laminate wood throughout the boat looks cheap! What a shame, I expect that from IKEA but not for an expensive yacht

It's not considered an expensive sailboat, even though it is quite a bit of money yes.
