LG refrigerator freezer door water dispenser line repair replacement when cracked at the bottom

This is what I came up with after doing dry fittings and various lengths of hose a few times. I realize it's not perfect. I'm not an engineer, just guy who wanted the water dispenser to work and not have to pay $500 for a new door or buy a new refrigerator. I spent hours on the phone with LG verifying that the line in the door can not be removed. It's just a bad design they have. This is what I did to make a fix for me. You may have a better way or prefer something else. I'm just sharing what I did for $12. Parts list: 5/16 ID clear pvc tube, 5/16 OD -3/16 ID water line, 3/16 OD pvc fuel line, 8mm-12mm stainless steel hose clamp.
