LG Refrigerator Problem - No Ice and No Water. Fridge Diagnosis with SOLUTION!!

When my LG refrigerator stopped making ice and water I had to try and troubleshoot the source. This videos solves a problem involving a broken wire inside this side by side LG refrigerator door. I was able to diagnose the issue. The problem was fixed with some creative thinking. Watch how I did it!!

All you had to do is cut your original line at the bottom tape the new wire you wanted to use. Pull from the top to pull it through. Save a lot of drill and such.

I replaced every board in my refrigerator. I did the same for the seals. I checked the continuity and it was good. (Maybe I did that wrong). I finally went to the top of my fridge and tugged in the thicker wires. The first one had a bit of slack. I was afraid to pull it too much. So I tested the others. They didn’t really give. So I went back to the first one and pulled it. It was broken! I did the hard wire first and that worked. I did the same wiring but the first hole required that I drill through a plastic conduit that surrounds where water and the other wires are. I ran the wire all the way under the door and brought it up through the bottom where the white water tub was. I did this because I have two air ducts at the bottom. It seems to be working! Thank you!!!!!

Excellent job explaining in detail. I have similar issue with only water not dispensing and tech told me that need new door because wire on top of door is ripped which give signal to rear water valve. I am so happy when i see your video. hopefolly i will replace just wire not whole door. Thank for this Video 🙏

So if you were to cut the wire at the panel and tie a new wire to it wouldn't you be able to pull it up? Just wondering if that would have been easier that your mcguiver way idk I have the same problem so see how it goes in the near future

I have same problem. Replace part did not work. So the power is not there. I dont have all the skill to do what you have done for that. I wonder this is defected if many people has the same issue. My Sn is LMXS30776s. I wonder you have the same model.? Thanks for posting the video.

Same fridge but when I push the paddle for ice or water, it dispenses but doesn't stop. I think new paddle but hoe do I replace it?

You think just changing that inlet valves would've fix it. Instead being surgical.. having same issues now with that same fridge. And that plastics bubble is the reservoir where the water is stored
