Hi Jack!! No, they are wall plugs for if you're attaching into brick/stone etc. I was only going into wood so could just use the screws. Let me know if you have any other questions 👍🏻
Metal bracket is strictly to avoid drilling holes in siding. Metal curl clip slips under siding. I do not recommend this type of mounting. Use the backing plate and drill 3 holes and toss metal clip. To easy to take off
I just bought one but didn’t mount it yet, so I’m assuming you scan the QR code on the camera and add it onto r sync module and then the camera will activate. It will also activate your floodlight through the motion sensor. It may have to unplug the camera to the flood light to get it working. I’m seeing people having issues with that. if there’s a different way, please let me know. Appreciate it. Have a great day.
@@husondiy i am thinking that the camera will show up on your app. The flood light gets activated by motion sensor in the camera. Than you adjust your settings for flood lite through the blink app . I have 6 cameras outside. Each sync module can piggy back 10 cameras so i should not have to use the new sync module . Just add it to existing module. Right now i am installing it over garage door . But i have issue behind the siding. There’s nothing but installation and studs so I’m gonna have to locate the stud because I’m not gonna drill into the siding and hang it off of that.

The metal bracket is to hang it on something. No screws required. Agreed re stealing. I guess the higher you install it the better....
The one bracket is for mounting on vinyl siding. Easy to put on, easy to take off. The higher the better.
