Yes, we clearly remember his sacrifice during the SARS period. Not only Dr Chao, but also for the faith and courage of his wife, Dr Koh, to release his husband to the frontline. Glad to see that the children have grown up so well. You must be proud of your parents.

Alex was the main doctor who took care of me in hospital. I was admitted in a coma and he helped me to recover fully. I have fond memories of him chatting with me and how fortunate I was in that my parents admitted me in the nick of time. It's tragic and sad. He was a good man

Mrs Chao has said something that strike me in this video. Whether a Dr or acleaner in healthcare industry who had sacrificed their lives are the heroes. It was very difficult especially for Mrs Chao as their children are very young. With SARS's experience SG emerged stronger and we had to thank the heroes again. Gods bless them and their love one.

2003 SARS period, I was in secondary 3 and the news of his death hit me the most. I followed the story when the news reported he contracted SARS and was at intensive care than like all of the sudden the news came out announced his death. To me, he’s always gonna be one of the courageous doctor to put himself on the very first line against SARS. He don’t have to but he felt that his colleagues, the patients and the country needed his help and he went for it. So thank you Dr Chao & the many healthcare professionals for your contributions.

One a supportive wife and the other who faces the front line of SARS and who takes the sacrifice to help Singaporeans pull through that difficult period and in end suffer the fate. God have eyes too and rewards those who seek Him and pray. When Dr Chao is looking down and sees the Love the family for him, wont he be touched. Press on and fight the good fight of faith. There will be a good ending for all the pain the Dr Koh and the two daughters have gone through. There is a season for everything....

It was a great sacrifice that he made for Singapore and her people, as well as his family.
