Nice. Ive got a 1999 solara, same color - but its m/t. I love it more than all other cars ive owned. No supercharger, but still will do close to 130

Nice ride. Very nice. Quick question - I have the same exhaust as you, an MTD I believe. The guy that installed it fucked up the EGR to Bank 1 weld, so I have a small exhaust leak. I keep getting a "Check Engine" for the cat, which is fine, the ECU just doesn't like the switch rate of the downstream. I bought the California O2 sensors, which ended up being wrong, it used the regular since it was manual (had to have a company research it, they sent me the right ones but kept the difference, ugh). Do you have any OBD2 issues, P0420 (Cat below efficiency) on yours? If so, any suggestions? If yours is Cali, it will have air-fuel ratio sensors upstream instead. I hope fixing the leak solves it, the idiots that sold it to me put those "cheaters" so it was missing, ran like crap, but I got to talk them down a lot so me happy. I have the same model, except a manual which I love, and the RS-3000 factory alarm for an insurance discount.

My friend has 99' Solara with the TRD supercharger and the same injen intake but his car at idle sounds like it has a massive air leak. plus his Supercharger is also noisy at idle. Car runs fine just noisy as hell. What did you do to keep it so quiet?
Not exactly sure what types of exhaust there are, but my Avalon with the 1MZ was loud as f-, but my Lexus RX300 with the 1MZ is silent. Maybe there is an air leak?

Nick Nick I’m using the Dayco 5060885 for my setup. I have the auto tensioner on mine though and running the stock 4psi pulley

I have a 1999 Toyota Solara TRD with little trd symbols on the card. What does TRD mean and what is the difference between a regular Solara?

@@sonymicronin some of the TDR editions sold came with TDR accessories and rims. Not the actual supercharger included. If it says TDR above your intake manifold and there's a thing with a pully coming off of it on the left hand side, there's a supercharger there and I'll buy that car if you don't like it 🤣
@@mattmiller6091 nope, just stickers on the body nothing in the engine bay, seems like just a regular v6 solara. I think I have the trd body kit though which is where the stickers probably came from

Can this be done to a 98 Lexus es300 with a 3.0l v6 and what do you have to do to get it done
I believe you can. If im not mistaken its been done before. It shouldn't be much different from my setup but I wouldn't know exactly what needs to be done on the es300.
@@TNSxDYNASTYx I started looking into like the turbo and superchargers and if it's possible that sounds like it could make it a fun car I was looking into how much would it actually cost to do it
@@Justdude1-z6i it absolutely can be done magnuson or someone should have made an exact replica but I'm having trouble finding one. It may be easier to swap one from a car that already has the bracket and pully you need to mount, but good luck finding one anyone with information lmk

Tomb Films They're not in production anymore. Only place you will find one is on eBay if you're lucky.
