That helmet is amazing! Btw appo didn’t die! He was very injured, but he lived through his injuries and trained stormtroopers i believe.

He actually continues to lead the 501st under Vader till he was decapitated by a Jedi. Vader has a definite fondness for him and respected him as an officer.
I believe he saved Vader’s life from several Jedi early on.

He actually didn’t die he just suffered a lower knee injury and made a full recovery.

Edit: apps actually survived his injuries from the Jedi Padawan and he appeared in a comic after saving darth Vader after Vader fell for a trap made buy some survivors of the Jedi purge

Appo didn’t actually die on the temple! He fully recovered and served Vader until he died in the 2nd battle of Kashyyyk

Appo doesn’t actually die on coruscant, he survives his injuries and later dies in the reconquest of the rim campaign

Appo was just injured, he was respected by Vader and saved his life. He also marched into the Jedi Tempel, but he was later killed by Roan Shryne on Kashyyyk and Darth Vader himself said that he liked him.

Appo also appeared in the Audiobooks "Dark Lord" befor Clone wars and was the Commander of the 501. under Darth Vader (its Legends btw.)

I think Appo survived that lightsaber attack. The comics say he was the clone who got glazed in leg and would survive it. Correct me if I am wrong

As far as I know Appo didn't get killed at the Jedi temple due to his appearance in one of the "Dark Lord" stories. He actually spared a couple's Jedi's lives

Out of curiosity, have you toyed with alignment tabs with your helmets? I have seen people make holes to fit the diameter of a wooden skewer that's like 1-2mm thick.

Appo doesn’t die on the landing pad at the temple… he goes on to have quite an extensive story as a commander under Vader. It’s all in the EU comics

i think it would be cool try try a technique where you design holes into the print then use small metal pins to connect the two sides perfectly together. Also I thought commanders were supposed to have like pouches, kama's, and the shoulder stuff and like a rangefinder or something

Very cool...yet don't think i have ever printed one of your files with a 5% infill. will have to give it a try over the 10% i normally do.
I printed his with a 20%infill with PLA+ for a more durable wearable helmet

Love all your helmet videos, the helmets always come out looking great, and the videos are always informative. Just as a quick aside, have you tried using XTC 3D Resin, makes sanding after application so much easier!

Appo actually didn't die at the Jedi temple. Barely, but he did survive. He would go on to be Vader's commander in legends and would be his right hand man until his death on Kashyyyk.

I had never noticed that you had a Tie Pilot helmet file online before, do you plan on ever doing more imperial helmets? I don't see many people doing many of them and they look a bit tougher because there's not as clear sections for the helmet, making splitting them tougher.

Nice helmet, I like this character, in my opinion he has little screen time in Clone Wars. Other character that i like is the Lieutenant Waxer, ho died in the Battle of Umbara, appears for a fraction of time, and some seasons ago, have a full episode just for him and Boil. The name is "Innocents of Ryloth", Episode 20 from Season 1, is the episode of two clones saves a little Twilek girl. He appears in others episodes, like the ones of the Second Battle of Geonosis. Can you make the Phase 2 helmet?

Do you add any padding to the inside, to make it sit on your head correctly and make it more comfortable to wear? If so, what do you use?
