I gotta admit, I’m not like regular fans. I try to save as many fresh baked episodes for when I have to do laundry and chores. I can just put it on and listen and watch and love the Disney magic and David’s enthusiasm in before I know what the chores are done and it feels great. Thank you so much Freshbaked!
me adjusting my red poncho at around 14:40…i had actually watched your older DCA rope drop strategy video prior to my visit and ended up not needing it due to the rain, i was gonna say hi but couldn’t believe it was you lol
I love watching your enthusiasm in your videos. Your love and joy you have for Disneyland warms my heart and brings me joy. I started watching your videos before our first trip last year, they were very helpful. I still watch them now even though i know it will be years before I'm able to go again. Thank you for bringing the joy to me even though i cant be there.
I went to dca last Sunday with early entry and we planned on just queuing up for radiator springs racers after getting coffee and as luck would have it they were letting guests ride already, it was awesome because we were able to walk right on and then the rest of our day was set. As we got off, the rope dropped and the line had already ballooned to 45 minutes
Love your videos Dave! They bring me so much joy. Reminds me of when I used to visit with my dear dad who passed away. Thank you for your videos! Keep up the great work ❤
Hello David. We enjoy watching your adventures that explore the ins-n-outs of how to approach a day in the park! We found that rainy days are difficult for our family because of the wheelchair. Hard to enjoy anything trying to keep papa Don dry. But when just Dave and I go on rainy days, we find a lot of places indoors that we wouldn’t normally visit ( Disney museum, Presidents room, exc). Thanks for braving the rain to make this video! Have a wonderful, magical week ahead! Hello to Liz and Sofia! ❤🏰☔️🏰🤗
They definitely don’t open RSR in the rain. In fact, if you’re in line and you feel the raindrops starting, you have about 10 minutes to get to a vehicle before they shut it down. Gotta bail with confidence and be happy with anything inside you get under 30 mins
Thanks for another fun rope drop video. Had a laugh when you were showing mission breakout and the collector was with what appeared to be the niffler from fantastic beasts. You can tell I’m from the east coast and only have been to mission breakout once ( but my motion sickness still remembers and hates me ). Already have a reservation for DCA on a Tuesday when early entry is in Disneyland so just hope it’s not raining in April. We’re there the Tuesday after Easter so most afraid of large amounts of magic key crowds returning after a blackout the previous few weeks. Thanks for reminding me no indoor seating in Pyms kitchen.
We did Disneyland rope drop yesterday -during the storm- and it was AMAZING had a great day! I'd just recommend plastic shoe covers to keep your shoes dry!
Great vid! Currently my DCA rope drop strategy is Soarin - Monsters - Guardians - Web Slingers (SR) - Racers (SR) - incedicoaster - Toy Story Little variance there for bigger groups but if the goal is to hit E tickets it’s worked pretty well for me 4 times now!
I only recently started posting videos and most of it is from December 22nd and 23rd at Disneyland. Pretty much the entirety of December 23rd is going to be posted next Thursday and it includes my version of the rope drop of Radiator Springs. Spoiler alert: It was about 50 minutes from rope drop to ride vehicle and I wasn't far back in the crowd. Btw, they need to turn the sound up at rope drop in DCA. 😉
The only thing worse than DL in the rain, has got to be DCA in the rain. what a miserable experience, and it doesn't even appear to be raining that hard. i'd rather sit by the fireplace in Grand Californian and drink hot chocolate.
Having visited DLR on this day I can say the rain was rather soothing but I was unprepared. Definitely going to DCA later this month and hoping 🙏🏽 for clearer skies. Great video as always!
Went to CA this past week. I think you’re much better off going through web slingers midway mania etc early. Radiator springs is always so busy for rope drop.
Visiting the parks on their respective early entry day can be a bonus, as you will be able to see the attractions that are open prior to rope drop. If you are rope dropping Space Mt on a non-early entry day, it's a 50-50 split if the ride will be down! Same with Guardians which is a better rope drop attraction than Radiator Springs for DCA if you can single-rider it for sure.
Sorry Dave but stuck on small world in a worse rain storm at the bridge with the water running off of bridge into my lap. that was than stuck on incredicoaster.
Lol, stuck outside in front log on Splash in the pouring rain for 10 minutes, already at peak water flow & soaked from the first drop. Figured it was our last chance to ride it, so oh well, but boy howdy I didn’t feel sad to say goodbye after that 😉
Oh for my full time job to be going to disney everyday. But i live in england. I wouldn’t actually want to go everyday bc itd no longer be special but still. The thought of just popping in whenever i want and it not costing thouuusands
Yesterday I did single rider on Webslingers and they rushed me through so fast, they forgot to give me glasses. So I felt really stupid trying to shoot at stuff 🤣
You should do a video from the parking lot to the park entrance. I’m a new magic key holder and will now be using the parking perks, but am unfamiliar with the parking lot strategy.
If you are having to be parked at Toy Story then you’ll be boarding a bus about a mile away from the parks. It’s a quick ride and it lets you off just outside of DTD.
You can also use the skywalk and easily walk-through downtown Disney. It’s super quick and easy to get through security, and if the park is open, you can catch the monorail as well.
I was bummed to learn about the early access alternate schedule because it goes against my park visit schedule. For the 1st time ever I will be staying on property, and won't even use the early access perk. Alas, keeping my park schedule is a priority and...I'll be at Disneyland. So yay!
I loved the video! I hope that you will try rope dropping Radiator Springs Racers again--we are going in July on a non-early entry day and I would love to know if it is worth it to rope drop Radiator Springs Racers. It is my kids favorite ride and my youngest isn't old enough for single rider and that line is just the worst! I am really looking forward to your recon video on Radiator Springs Racers!
Often say many rides are better than a cup of coffee. Never have time to get one before rope drop, but it’s ok. Coffee at 10 or 11 am is just fine in those cases.
Pixar Pier rope drop is the way to go. You have so many options in same area if something doesn’t open immediately. Cast members let me ride Toy Story Mania 3 times without getting off due to no one in line
I wish my august trip from the uk was better. It was v hot and the queues were all 75 min + and i just didnt know what to do. Felt stuck and just down and wasted sm time. Only got to ride gotg once which is my main reason going😢disney can be torture when nothing goes right
David, David, David. Two seconds into your video I hear the rain pelting off your umbrella and you saying "Radiator Springs". How do you not know that RS doesn't run in the rain? Like 90% of the rest of DCA.
DCA in the rain really highlights how small and lacking DCA is compared to Disneyland, and how badly it needs expansion. On a day like this, you could realistically end up with only 3-4 E-tickets operational in the entire park (depending on breakdowns, refurbs, etc), and only 8-12 rides total. That's insane.
mad tea party and alice in wonderland as well. surprisingly astro and dumbo stay open. I think they close mark twain and columbia due to slip and fall fears.
I remember you doing a rope drop on RSR some years ago, Dave…and you suggesting the strategy of staying the the right…or was it the left….or was it a video of just getting a FP? Hahaha!
Does Disneyland ever close in bad weather? Obviously not in a rain shower like you were in, but what if it’s torrential rain? I could imagine a lot of rides could be very unpleasant in heavy rain.
Disneyland will occasionally close a few hours early due to bad weather. I’ve been in the parks when that has happend. Announcement over the loud speakers and in the app that the park was closing at 8pm instead of 10pm as scheduled. The parks have never been completely closed for the entire day due to bad weather.
I did my research cause I went when that ride grand opened and it was a 3 hour wait I rode incredicoastsr and guardians fast cause everyone wad watching spider man when tianas bayou opens go on big thunder space mt all those first
I gotta admit, I’m not like regular fans. I try to save as many fresh baked episodes for when I have to do laundry and chores. I can just put it on and listen and watch and love the Disney magic and David’s enthusiasm in before I know what the chores are done and it feels great. Thank you so much Freshbaked!
But I also watch many episodes right when they come out too. I have to be honest.
Not the only one 😅
Ya, same here. I'm a delivery driver. Just put them on and listen. Makes things more entertaining.
me too
Me too! Especially folding laundry and doing dishes 😂
My husband introduced me to Fresh baked many years ago. He's gone now, but you've helped get me through many a rough day. Thank you, David
Thank you for sharing, I'm so sorry for your loss❤
@gilcobos1538 Thank you. That is very kind of you
me adjusting my red poncho at around 14:40…i had actually watched your older DCA rope drop strategy video prior to my visit and ended up not needing it due to the rain, i was gonna say hi but couldn’t believe it was you lol
He sped it up just as you were approaching.. lol
I always go to soarin first, walking right on is so peaceful. Then maybe to mission breakout then coffee and food. Man I love Disneyland.
I love watching your enthusiasm in your videos. Your love and joy you have for Disneyland warms my heart and brings me joy. Love your videos Dave! They bring me so much joy. Reminds me of when I used to visit with my dear dad who passed away. Thank you for your videos! Keep up the great work ❤
6 indoor rides at DCA vs 17 at Disneyland (by my count). On rainy days, the better bet may be Disneyland.

Love a rainy Disney day as miserable as it can be something about em 😅

Thanks Fresh Baked! That was awesome! I'm going to Disneyland tomorrow. Rain or Shine!!
Your dedication to this channel is a,a zing. Thank you for all you do. I watched this with a nice cup of hot chocolate at hand.
Rainy day magic! Thanks for the joy, David!
As a Socal riff-raff pass-holder, I've only been on Radiator Springs a handful of days, but when the chance presents itself - you marathon it.
We did Disneyland rope drop yesterday -during the storm- and it was AMAZING had a great day! I'd just recommend plastic shoe covers to keep your shoes dry!

Little variance there for bigger groups but if the goal is to hit E tickets it’s worked pretty well for me 4 times now!
Thanks for uploading this amazing video! Keep up the great work, FreshBaked!

We were so used to the cycling Early Entry days, we purposely planned our parks around them. Much better, glad it’s back!
Thanks for braving the rain to bring us this perspective!

FRESHBAKED is DISNEYLAND!!
Still loving that intro music! It is pure JOY!
Never been at DL while its raining, definetly changes things when you need rain gear. But lots to do indoors. Thanks for the video!

I understand Radiator Springs / cars does not operate in the rain??
I was there I actually enjoyed the rain low crowds bring water proof gloves Amazon Pancho Amazon rain proof shoe covers clear umbrella helped
Sorry Dave but stuck on small world in a worse rain storm at the bridge with the water running off of bridge into my lap. that was than stuck on incredicoaster.

Love webslingers! Last time I rode it I think I had just over 307k points. Absolutely my favourite ride in DCA.
Great great show! Thanks Fresh Baked!!
Looking forward to the next week of rain videos! 😅

LOL. At GotG:MB, nobody raises their hands for the scanner anymore! 😜
They should have made the spiderman ride a cool dark ride sort of like Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway but more intense.
Weather is very cold outside rain and snow

Sorry if its ben mentioned but the time stamps are for Disneyland, not DCA.
wonderfull rainy day.
This park felt like you could rope drop the entire park as long as you didnt start with Radiator Springs
What rides at Disneyland & DCA get shut down by the rain, besides clearly luigi, radiator springs?
mad tea party and alice in wonderland as well. surprisingly astro and dumbo stay open. I think they close mark twain and columbia due to slip and fall fears.

Next test I would like to see is out of 30 attempts that someone attempts to rope drop RSR, how many times is the ride actually open?
Have fun at Disneyland
That looks miserable. Rain is one thing but cold and rain, no thanks
I seen you Friday at toon town fresh baked !!
Rainy quiet empty day wud be perfect if they didn’t close rides
So if you have early entry, would you go to radiator springs?
Of its a priority. The ride isn't actually open. You're just allowed to queue ahead of the others.
Pretty interesting I learned something new
"I'd give my right arm for a pair of warm gloves." What would you need a PAIR for then? 😀
What time did you park at Toy Story?
Do you know if Disney Ducks are owned by Disney on purpose or is it just a happy accident that the ducks live there? Same question about the cats.
Omg I hope it doesn't rain for me and family upcoming trip the 3 wk of Feb/2024
Hey Fresh Baked!!
DCA seems like a terrible park for a rainy day. It’s got a lack of rides on a good day and the big rides arent available on rainy days.
Dude! You have to rope drop Ariel. Lol
Fresh Baked!
Wait… wasn’t Toy Story refurbished? Did you cover that? It seems like the screens were clearer and there were some new animations. What do you think?
Not a bad score on TSMM, considering you had a handicap, David.
Holy S that woman in green walking down RS does not care about being wet :)
Trucker hat please 🙏
timestamps are wrong.
Congrats u experienced england for the day loll
Web slingers is probably one of the worst Disney attractions I have ever been on 😂
I did my research cause I went when that ride grand opened and it was a 3 hour wait I rode incredicoastsr and guardians fast cause everyone wad watching spider man when tianas bayou opens go on big thunder space mt all those first
@@CALIFORNIAsGAMER yeah def man! Although at least with Tiana we know it will have a thrill aspect with the drops. Also, I like your profile pic 😛
YAAYAAYYYYYYYY
How is this new? It's always been 30 minutes prior but now it's just one park.. you must be rich staying on property
Not a big fan on dca
Is it me or is DCA getting extremely boring??? 🤔
