I would love to find some documentation that mentions if the color variance is package-based or if this is simply a pre-production vs production issue. Thank you for your time!
Went yesterday to my local dealer in South Florida. Numbers were insane. A Trd Sport with the tech package sticker price at 49k. I have a credit score of 783. They told me the best interest rate they could do is 7.5% 63 months price lowered to 45k. The monthly payment was a little under 1k. I walked out and wished them all the best.
If you want an off-roader with all the axle, sway bar tech and crawl control, downhill descent, better ground clearance, etc., then get the TRD Off Road. If you want better highway ride and handling with minimal off road capability and a little better pricing get the TRD Sport.
I just today ordered a sport with all the options. Traded in my current ride and got 46 for it so the sport is only out of pocket about 9k. Since I had to order and build this truck delivery is about 6 weeks out.

I bought a Tacoma TRD Sport 4x4 back in 2007 and still have it with over 306,000 miles. I bought Sport trim just because the hood scoop looked great and never ever thought about going off pavement. BUT never again. My next one will be an Offroad trim with factory rear locker. Buy the trim with the rear locker even if it's for your work. You might be in a situation where you might need to drive over sketchy off pavement places. Extra fun and security when you go overlanding or off roading. Yes, you can install aftermarket lockers but more $ and maintenance, plus less reliable. Besides, Offroad trim comes with many more offroading features other than rear locker. Lastly, factory ride quality doesn't mean much if you are going to switch out the suspension and lift it in the future.

After seeing the price dealers are now charging i see a lot of buyers remorse with these new trucks. 55k+ is just too much for a mid size truck. The first couple years toyota will make out like a bandit and then the more financially smart folks will wait for the good deals bringing down the insane price is my prediction. Seems to happen like this across all brands.
Rubber maid…plasticky front ends and hoods are still way too high. Time will tell if the new drive train holds up. Toyota has seemed to go with a Tonka Truck theme on the interiors of their vehicles. Not in love with it ( I have owned many Tacos) I don’t hate it either. Indifferent tbh. I dont think quite measures up to the new Canyon though. Will be interesting to see how the new Ranger compares. Thanks for the content boys.
POS now! Ppl bought the Tacoma cause of reliability I guarantee you with the same maintenance V6 VS the inline 4-banger turbo 150k for the new truck before major repairs 300K or more on the V-6! Look up 300,000 mi Tacoma there's a guy with a 2018 manual transmission has had that truck loaded down, road hard put away wet & still running like a top!
Yeah, too much added here. The old non-turbo 4cyl even have gone 1 million miles in Tacomas and were made for over 20 years. I prefer the 3rd gen at this time, who knows, maybe in 2025 they will make them non-turbo again.

You can't fold down the rear sets anymore??????? This truck is not as good as the Gen 3's! That 4 cy turbo won't hold up like the V6 in the long run...Turbo engine's are well known for failing!
I had a corolla with a sunroof and it stopped working and rusting. and was getting water stains in my ceiling liner. I never used the sunroof for this reason.

This truck will make toyota a lot of $. 54k out the door as of today. 4 cylinder that isnt more efficient than the 3.5 liter gen 3. Remember this, toyota is saving 80% on labor building in mexico. They pay 2.50 an hour. Sweatshop builds.
Oh boy!! There are improvements that are nice but the 4 cyl turbo is a huge problem. You are killing the dependability and reliability. You can't add all those extra parts and all that extra heat and not kill the long term expense totals. The 2023's are now 10,000 cheaper for the same truck. I will break it down! 2023's are being discounted 3,500 - 6,000 and the new trucks are about 3800 - 4500 more plus some dealers are marking them up. I would rather have a 2023 without turbo and for 10,000 less. Have you seen the 2024 engine bay it's a HOT MESS. All this for 2MPG increase.

Where are the cup holders??
Amazing video guys.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Does that TV come off?
Perfect I’m going get one
Toyota: it’s more than 40k to buy but we will take 60k for it.
We need a Tacoma\Ranger head to head
What engine option gives the best mpg?
The hybrid should. Once it comes out, we will confirm
I force max hybrid just 2 more miles per gallon
After seeing the price dealers are now charging i see a lot of buyers remorse with these new trucks. 55k+ is just too much for a mid size truck. The first couple years toyota will make out like a bandit and then the more financially smart folks will wait for the good deals bringing down the insane price is my prediction. Seems to happen like this across all brands.
Does toyota have remote start in any of their car?
Yes
$55k for a Tacoma off-road blows my mind. Ridiculous prices.
How could I afford one 😮 $52k I would just get a used 2023 tundra , and they still don’t add a rear vents for the passengers, come on Tacoma ????
Love the truck, the color, hate the price.......
@@rrrttt1112yeah that 2.7L was a 🐢💨 but would run forever reliable AF... & after nobody buys this new trash 🗑️& 10K more they (Toyota) bumped their head hella hard 😂
Me gusta la caja Manual , 6 velocidades👍
Hey toyota, learn from Ford , Dodge, any Gm. If you over price your vehicles. Your gonna miss 60% of your buyers. Trust me, not everyone has a 6 figure job. And can't afford $ 1,200 a month payment.
Yeah, that air dam is coming off as soon as i bring it home. It is hideous and looks like it will snap off in snow and trails.
Prices are way too much for a midsize truck. I’ll wait 4 years for a used one after the depreciation.
That stupid handle on the right of the shifter makes absolutely no sense.
Should have placed that handle to the driver side to assist getting in 😏
anyone coming down that road??
Don't fret, it was completely closed haha
You can't fold down the rear sets anymore??????? This truck is not as good as the Gen 3's! That 4 cy turbo won't hold up like the V6 in the long run...Turbo engine's are well known for failing!
It’s not full LED headlamps if the turn signals are incandescent
Yeah,.......no. What a ridiculous statement, you should be a politician!
Holy shit Its a manual! Please send to NZ to replace dinosaur Hilux.
40k you taking g about cup holders.
Toyota needs to stop building their trucks with cheap plastics.
I hate sun roofs
I had a corolla with a sunroof and it stopped working and rusting. and was getting water stains in my ceiling liner. I never used the sunroof for this reason.
The Tacoma to buy is a 3rd Generation with a V-6 engine.
Goofy price. Please stop buying new trucks until manufacturers get a clue.
I got nothing to say about this truck except it’s too expensive and I hate that big handle by the shifter!!!! Us chocolate queens with the bootylicious cakes ain’t got no time for trucks like this!!!!
next time can you please also include a child seat on your review to this truck..
Not the sport, but the off road 😅😊
This thing isn’t ever going to come out! I’ve got a ‘23 Tacoma and I can’t wait to get rid of it. Ford is the only maker that is coming out with a 6 cylinder so that’s probably where I’ll go next. It most assuredly WON’T be any more Toyotas. 👍
Actually the Nissan ProX4 has a V6. Much better price and has a rear locker. Very off road capable. Ford has had more recalls than any other brand, even Stellantis, for the past two years.
@@lc7192 true. I forgot about Nissan, I tested them before I bought this Tacoma, just got a better deal on the Toyota and I thought I would like it better than I did.
@@danav3387 Having a tried and true Nissan Frontier with proper 310 hp 6 cyl, 9 speed transmission, electronic locker, impeccable road manners and quietness, is a true truck in my opinion.
Good luck with those transmissions
Buh bye. 👋
Price too damn high bro
Only the REPO fans are buying the new Tacoma 😂
“Looks phenomenal”?? I would say that’s a phenomenal stretch of a description.
This guy doesn't know his left from his right. He showed a standard transmission and then test drove the automatic.
It’s called having a different vehicle to test drive, we had to switch. We can drive manual by the way
I really hate that bottom front bib! I will take the hit on the 0.5 percent in fuel per tank. Because it is ugly having there. The TRD off road has it too! Ugliest air dam ever!
This truck will make toyota a lot of $. 54k out the door as of today. 4 cylinder that isnt more efficient than the 3.5 liter gen 3. Remember this, toyota is saving 80% on labor building in mexico. They pay 2.50 an hour. Sweatshop builds.
Why does toyota give every reviewer a manual truck lol kinda weird
It needs a supercharged V8
The old truck looks nicer then this one
Key fob looks too cheap
It looks like a chevy
All this for 2MPG increase.
way too much $$$ ill keep my 15 sport
Save some money son! 😂
