Pick best time for memorizing, the early morning time is the best time. It's time of blessings. Prophet صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم used to make dua at that time. 4. Revise to someone else. Ma shaa Allah...barakallah fiikum.. One more tip I want to add is to memorize based on the outlook or the layout of the page 📄 for long surahs...you can choose whether you want to do a half page or the whole page and stay consistent with the same Qur-an page layout type throughout the way...it helps to snap photographic memories... Jazaakumullah khairan
Assalam alaikum..jazakallahu khairan jazaa brother,, I have a few more tips to memorise THE QURAN,, as being a non arab..1. Try to know ABOUT the surah that you want to learn, as it creates a connection to the past, to our messenger (saws) and his companions, 2. Divide the surah into chunks that give the same idea or the verses that are related the immediate idea, though the Whole surah gives us a LESSON TO PONDER UPON, memorise each chunk separately and then the Whole surah. 3. To find the meanings of the words, that may somehow be the same in our own language, especially if we know Urdu, or any language that has the same origin as Urdu, this makes memorising easier.4. LOVE FOR THE QURAN IS A MUST, as Dr. Allama Iqbal, the Great poet said, that everytime you read the Quran, you have to imagine that it is being descended upon you NOW, by Gibriel (as).. Plz remember us all in your supplications, and all the best for everyone who have decided to memorise the Quran. Allah Hafiz
Salam. My 7 year old son is becoming a Hafiz inshaAllah, he started age 5. He has memorised almost 2 Juzz. He was very passionate about it but recently he has started saying he doesn't want to do Hifz. He is very capable and very bright Allahumma baarik. I'm not sure if I should keep at it or should I give him a choice. I don't know if this will become forcing. Any advice would be much appreciated. Jazakallah
I have memorized the whole quran few months ago.. but I still cant recite a parah without revising it first. I can not recite any parah without reading it twice or thrice times. I am trying very hard but still can not remember any parah for a longer period of time. Why is that so. I am really depressed right now. Please someone guide me
Give your self another one year, this time repeating it more rigorously @ least 100 times each page, taking 5 hizb per month, 2 pages per day. Doing this will help transfer the hifz from short term memory to long term in shaa Allah
@@abdulmuminiyusuf3750 JazakAllah I am reciting regularly but the thing is i have my exam for the whole quran coming up this march to receive my hifz certificate this is a big pressure already I don't know how to cover the whole quran in 3 months only. If you can guide me for a routine to follow specially for these coming 3 months I ll be honestly very grateful
Subhanallah, 3 months in not enough time but in order to prepare for your exam, I will suggest that you find those pages, hizb or juz that are less stronger, focus on them for the exam. But if you want to go over the entire Qur'an in the 3 months span, you can do 20 hizb per month, taking 7 pages daily. 4 in the morning and 3 at night or vise versa repeating each page at least 50 times and you will be good in shaa Allah. If you start now, you can even finish before time. Don't forget to recite the pages you have memorised each day to someone who will listen. I hope this will help. Wishing you the best in your exam
@@abdulmuminiyusuf3750 okay I will do that from today InshaAllah. JazakAllah jazakAllah Please remember me in your prayers. I really need that JazakAllah
Are you a hafidh/a. Maybe while they memorise, you could memorise too so as to motivate one another. Another tip would to let them enjoy the process of memorisation and not put too much pressure for them to complete in a time span, so they can love and understand the Qur’n better, Jazaak Allahu Khayran . Wa alaykumu salam wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuhu
I think memorizing 5 to 10 ayats a day is great for me. I listen and repeat in the morning while I'm doing morning routine. It's amazing how much my brain takes in. Hey what do u think about refreshing what you memorize, that is, going back over what you previously memorized. How do u maintain what you memorized? If my goal is 5 to 10 ayat, should I go back over the memorized ayat from days ago?
Yes you should revise the memorized portion every day. There is a quran memorization planner on the internet. Just go and check it out. Memorization is easy. Without revision it will not get into your long term memory. So revision is must.
