IlmFeed Podcast Clips salaam alaikum. Instead of memorizing the last page of each juz and then progressing to the first by the end Of each month can I do it in the reverse order? That is, start from the first page of each juz then proceeding till I reach the last pages?

@@therandomguy1039 I believe it is because the Quran has a flow or melody to it and listening to music disrupts that flow. Have you ever noticed that sometimes your not even paying attention to a song and someone else is playing in the background and the brain memorizes it. Why , because of the beat or flow. Hope you understand.

I finished memorize An Naba (40 ayat) in 8 days (also during that, 1 time I read full surah AnNaba everyday) It took so long, but this is the most confortable way for me. I already memorized juz 30, al waqiah, al mulk. Now I want to memorize al insan, as sajad, ar rahman, al kahfi. May Allah make it easy for me and for us All ,,to memorize Quran.

Theres no rush in memorising the Quran, the most important part of memorisation is remembering what you have memorised. So if you are struggling at the 12th juz, the best course of action is to go back and go through each juz thoroughly until you are confident with each one.Only then should you proceed to next juz. Hope that makes sense.

I read translation while memorising everday lesson that way it's easier. Being consistent is the key, take it slow at start.

One way to memorize the Qur’an is to memorize 3 lines after each prayer, which means you will have memorized 15 lines by the end of the day, which equals 1 page, and you do this for 6 days, and in the 7th day you revise the 6 pages you have memorized.
This means that by the end of one month, you will have memorized a little bit more than one juz’.
This method needs about 2 years to memorize the Qur’an, In Sha’a Allah.
The beautiful thing is that you can adjust the number of lines you want to memorize according to what you see, and you get to focus on individual ayat.

I saw it described in the form of a poem written by a sheikh, on youtube.
It’s very beautiful and helpful, it also includes many more advices, like for example, to recite what you memorize in prayer.
I have been trying it for a few days, and alhamdulillah I have already memorized 1 surah.

There’s also a famous app for Qur’an called “ayat”, which has a feature in which you can revise what you’ve memorized.
It shows you a blank page, with one ayah revealed, and when you press on the spot of another ayah it appears.

MashAllah what amazing advice from the both of them.
From the Ottomon Guy, His method of Memorizing last page from each Juz is actually such a motivator in my opinion. Like, you basically get a taste of every Juz and thus are familiar with them alittle more.
As for the Host of Ilmfeed, His method is literally exactly like how I used to do it. Every night you simply read your lesson (A page or a few lines etc...) and then you just keep repeating, the next day InshAllah it'll become very solid and would only need to be revised a couple of times.
Note: When Memorizing Quran, it is strongly encouraged to stay away from technology for a good amount of time.
JazakumUllahukhairan, May Allah (S.W) Enable us all to Memorize his Glorious Book
    Ameen.

    5. Having a memorisation buddy

    8. Learn tawheed this should have been first
    9. Repetition
    10. Keep renewing intention
    11. Be sincere

    Key takeaways:
    1. Memorizing starts when you finished. This is important.
    2. Choose a method according to your preference. No one size fits all.
As for memorizing backward, I can relate. I got the same experience when memorizing backward. However, I personally prefer a mixed method. Sometimes it's forward, other times it's backward.
Since I don't enroll in any school, I have the liberty to choose the verses to memorize. Currently, I prioritized verses with the most personal impact for myself. I chose verses that relates the most to me, be it as a father, as a son, as a worker, or as a person in general. That keeps me motivated.

Lots of Surah we memorize in Madrasah like yaseen and of course the Friday Al Kahf Algamdolilah. With effort one can see how u grow to love reading the Quran eventually u also desire to memorize the wonderful Book of truth.
Insha Allah may Allah grant all our wishes. 🙏

But I don't prefer this method because the main purpose of The quran is guidance not just to memorize it without even knowing the meaning.... We must do it from the beginning if possible then with meaning plus pondering upon the verses, If we do it from backward, it will be difficult to ponder and to memorize with meaning
For example, Surah Yusuf... It is about the story of Yusuf As, Did you ever read a story from its last page and ending with the first page?? No.... Likewise the quran... If you want to memorize it, start from the beginning not from the last, I mean not backward as mentioned in this video....
Plus this is not the method of the three generations, whom we r supposed to follow... So who will u follow?? The three generations or the Ottomans?? Choice is yours 😊....

After maghrib you begin memorising a new lesson that is a new page or two of a juz and recite it to your teacher in fajr. Then begin revising the whole juz that you are currently memorising and recite it to the teacher before Zuhr. Then begin revising one of the juzs that you have already memorised and recite it to the teacher before Asr. Then after maghrib another new lesson and henceforth. In this way two simultaneous revisions also continue along with the new lesson. After finishing you again start with Daur(Revision) to make your memorization stronger.
This is the method usually followed here in India. But there may be some additional things also at different places and some other methods are also followed.
The method the brother explained also seems to be nice and effective.

It is called daur. At this stage one has to revise all day long and recite to the teacher as many juz as he can. It usually takes an year. Some specific madaris have set the standard of continuing daur with 1-1,2-2,3-3 juz and so on until one can recite the whole Quran in a majlis, not necessarily in one sitting but recite whole Quran without looking in mushaf even once.

Ma sha Allah. All methods are good. In my case if I recite a surah once daily for 20 to 30 days, it gets memorized. Alhamdulillah. For example, surah yasin, muzammil, waqiah etc I memorized like that. Thats another way of memorizing. The important thing is to read quran with a regular routine and also implement its teachings in your daily life.

safna Mariyam to summarise it easier for you my brother...we first start of with the heavy Surat in alternations, using the ten times Khatm is the initial technique first... here is a link for better elaborations ..eprints.um.edu.my/15685/1/BESSH_Othman_Method_of_Memorization1.pdf

And sometimes explaining method of memorization becomes much harder than memorizing the pages 😅

So simply, I am explaining inshaAllah for everyone to understand. The Quran has 30 juz. Each juz has 20 pages. You start with the last page of the first juz, and progress until you reach the last page of the last juz. This inshaAllah will be done in one month as there are 30 days for 30 pages. Than you start with the 19th page of the first juz to the 19th page of the last juz, also in one month. And then proceed with the rest of the pages 18, 17, 16...2,1. Now you have completed the hifz in 2 and a half years as one juz was memorized for one month. inshaAllah it was clear enough.

Sensiz Yol still didn’t get it.. and where is the advantage to just learning each juz one after the other ?

    • @sensizyol25
      @sensizyol25 5 років тому +7

@@Stuttgart1887 I don't know for sure but I think the advantage is at the fact that you will be always learnig the page before what you have already learned and can complete with the following pages everyday, so you don't just learn the new page and forget about the rest, but learn the new one and repeat the old ones as well. Hope I was clear enough. Also what you didn't understand in the previous explanation?

Honestly this makes so much sense?! Like whenever I memorize any surah, at the first few pages my memorization is very strong but as I continue my memorization becomes worse compared to the first pages because whenever I recite the Quran... I start from the beginning of the surah and most of the time I never finish reading it...
Thank you so much for this
    Trying this method inshaallah 💗

      Try the Second method !
      Recite(read) a surah almost 30 -50 times a day
Surely you will memorize the surah in a very clear manner
