I took my coach bag to the car wash. Covered it in woolight, and sprayed it clean. I did not want to brush it. I just layed a towel down, and washed it with the car wash sprayer. Its beautiful!

I have a pretty nice collection 2nd hand. I always use pencil cases in my bags. It is amazing what you can save with some saddle soap and shoe polish etc.
@@Kiki-uk9rgleather can get wet, it just needs to be conditioned so it doesn’t crack as it dries. Cowboy boots and hats are leather and and are meant for all conditions. But they are habitually taken care of by the owners.

Thank you I also sell vintage coach I use acetone with a toothbrush to remove ink spots. But I'm definitely gonna get that cleaner. And yes you have to be very careful using acetone on leather.
Timing is everything. I took out an old purse today, vintage Lodis, and I cleaned the liner due to a "perfume" smell inside and noticed an ink stain in the bottom corner. Tomorrow out comes the alcohol. Nice video.

Hi there, I use resolve carpet cleaner plus a variety of other and it works great! I rinse mine under water prior to hanging outside though. Looks nice! I cannot believe how dirty some of the purses were that I cleaned. It’s like they were dragged in the mud after Ink and everything else was thrown inside… 😅

Thank you for watching! The purses from thredup were much more dirtier then this one. I decided they needed a deeper cleaning. I would use this method for a purse that just needs a good wipe down and soaking depending on how dirty they are.

i got a coach purse online but its made of cloth, it was in good condition though its got a spotty metallic leather already . so anyway, one of the the stitched on C's started to fray a bit and i didnt even use it yet. im afraid brushing it would make the threads fray even more. is there a way to prevent that from happening while cleaning. sorry for my english, its not my first language. thank you.

Idea for removing ink stain: use pink soap (that miracle soap in a tub,) gently rub it into stain, let it sit overnight, then use dish detergent in water, using a scrubby, to coax nasty ink stain out. This method works for me. Hope comment helps.🙃
Hi, I've watched your videos and I've learned quite a bit about cleaning purses. I did run into one that totally stumps me. It's a small Coach purse with some sort of ink transfer on it. I think it's saffiano leather and I have tried EVERYTHING from hairspray to baby wipes and nothing has worked so far. I even tried Amodex, which is usually great to no avail. I'm not afraid to try anything on it as it's no good as it is. Any thoughts? Ideas? HELP!! TY in advance!!
I cleaned my white ocelot print coach purse with your methods and it worked fantastic except around the leather trim. It looks great when I clean it but when it dries the underside of the leather bleeds orange onto the purse. Any ideas? Thanks!
Apply masking tape to the leather around the edges to avoid getting it wet and it bleeding onto the fabric again. In order of most gentle to most aggressive: Try a Tide to-go pen. If that doesn’t work, try rubbing alcohol on a q-tip. I’ve had good luck using alcohol based gel hand sanitizer, as it doesn’t dry as quickly as plain isopropyl. If neither of those work, try acetone. It’s important to not get the acetone on the leather, as it will remove the dye. Good luck ❤
If you ship via USPS, you can use their boxes and schedule a pick up at your home. I started selling my bags over the past two years and USPS was the best shipping method. I also ordered and printed my shipping labels from USPS.
These types of coach bags(fabric), I put 8 of them in the washing machine and they came out perfectly. I purchased them for 10.00 a piece and sold them for $89.00 a piece . They were spotless when they came out of the machine and they smell fresh and were free of chemical residue. I Air dried them and they came out perfect! I took that chance since I got them from Goodwill and they were very dusty. It paid off!!! The leather was not compromised in any way.
I’ve got comments that this one is fake. I wouldn’t sell it because of that. But I have sold Coach purses on eBay and Poshmark and I always look up comps and list depending on those
You can immerse it in water, dawn and warm water and let it drip dry because it really isn't worth anything and it won't ruin the leather. Now that product youre spraying on is stuck in the fibres. It really isn't clean...
I got a pink Coach Poppy purse that I LOVE but the bottom is getting so dirty that I stopped using it because I don't know how to clean it 😭 But its also not this same material. It's a softer canvas-y type. Is this spray safe for that?

I dabble in purses mainly because I'm good at spotting quality craftsmanship and Coach fits the bill. Dish detergent and water is what I use on every bag and ive never had any issues

I got a vintage jacquard tote and I put mine in the washer. It came out fine. I bought it from a seller.

I’m not sure how to repair it but Dr Martens Wonder Balsam is great to condition leather. Maybe conditioning would help

I’ve got comments that this one is fake. I wouldn’t sell it because of that. But I have sold Coach purses on eBay and Poshmark and I always look up comps and list depending on those
You can immerse it in water, dawn and warm water and let it drip dry because it really isn't worth anything and it won't ruin the leather. Now that product youre spraying on is stuck in the fibres. It really isn't clean...
All you do folks is throw the Coach purse in the washer on delicate and hang to dry. It comes out brand new!

It would have been easier if you soaked the whole bag in soapy lukewarm water and brushed it .
ok I knew this had to be a few years old. Goodwill thinks those bags are now worth $40-$50 dirty and in bad condition
I got a pink Coach Poppy purse that I LOVE but the bottom is getting so dirty that I stopped using it because I don't know how to clean it 😭
But its also not this same material. It's a softer canvas-y type. Is this spray safe for that?

Coach bags don't always have 'C'in the lining. Great info. I just subscribed. I'm an atypical reseller, 54 yr old male retired electrician, shhhh! It's a great way to make a few extra bucks and stay up to date in the world of what's hot and what's not! Helps pay for my hobbies and vices. I dabble in purses mainly because I'm good at spotting quality craftsmanship and Coach fits the bill. For years I complained to my Ex about the price of her purses until I took the time to really examine them..I was converted. Thanks again, I'll be checking all your other videos

yes. if the bag has C's on the exterior, their lining will always have( i think) just one solid color.
