This is really good. I have one from the 80s that I used to use and it was looking pretty awful. It’s sitting in the sink downstairs soaking and I’m going to scrub it up and condition it. Just ordered everything from Amazon. Thank you!
Those turned out looking so good! I refurbish bags too, not to resell, but to enjoy myself....but don't ask me how many I have. :) On tough worn spots like the bottom of the round bag and on corners especially, I like to use black dye before conditioning....then they look REALLY GOOD. I enjoyed watching the transformation.
I’m glad you enjoyed it. I have never tried using dye before. Maybe I will need to explore it next time 👍🏻
Thanks for watching 💕

You did a great job! I have the medium sized one and you have taught me how to clean it! It was an awesome $4 find at a garage sale years ago.

Vintage coach is my jam 😊
Oh wow I didn't know you could water-wash leather! Amazing!
Same here! I just cringed so hard as I dunked my vintage rough looking Coach bag in a water bath this morning! We’ll see how it goes!
All the best!@@katkerz70
Wonderful job. They look beautiful.
Thank you and thanks for watching 💕
Beautiful bags,great job!
Thank you and thanks for watching 💕
WOW!!!
Great demonstration. Any ideas for a color match dye or wax for a dark blue Coach with work corners? Thanks
You are great in making those bag like new..excellent.. you have an excellent idea..👌
Thank you for your kind words 💛
Wow! That’s time consuming, + towel laundry, I hope you make a lot of $ for them. I use mink oil for leather, & hand-wipes for inside & they look just as beautiful as yours!
Great video, thank you!
I have a fabric lined Coach book bag. Can I soak that bag as well?
Really nice
☺️ Thank you
Thanks for sharing. Is your second soak just water by itself or with the dish soap again? Thanks
Those look amazing! Thanks for the tutorial. Do you ever use Doc Martens Wonder Balsam? I’ll have to check into the products you used because those purses are beautiful!
Thank you Christi! I have never used Doc Martens Wonder Balsam. Thought about getting some because I know several others use it and rave about it. Thanks for watching 💕
🎉
I always seen in other videos to clean the brass first with Brasso. My sister turned a old Coach bag inside out and it pulled the stiches apart because they become brittle over time. Dont know if I would stuff them and leave to air dry I seen a Creator say mildew and mold would be a factor but instead blow dry on low heat while using leather lotion
Thank you for your tips. I love learning new information. Thanks for watching 💕
😮
Can you please list out the products you used. Thank you!
😍
Can you use this process on pebbled leather too? I am assuming these bags are glove tanned leather. Excellent video.
Thank you for your kind words and for watching my video. I would still use saddle soap and water but I wouldn’t submerge pebbled leather.
I'd like to know where you get the healing balm. I have owned 2 leather purses for about 55 - 60 years and they are not dirty but they do have scratches, so I'd like to treat them.
I’m so sorry for just now responding…. I just noticed your comment. I order Chamberlain’s products though Amazon. Thanks for commenting and for watching 💕
Do you clean coach bags that have two colors of leather the same way? I have a white bag with brown trim-
I would test an area to see if any bleeding would occur first 👍🏻 Thank you for watching 😊
Use braso product for the hardware .
How long do these amendments last? Leather that has flattened tends to reflatten....
I agree with you. I touch my leather up as time passes. Thanks for watching 💕
Do you do the brass parts with a cleaner.
If the brass needs additional cleaning I just use a cloth or Q-tips, thanks for watching💕
Do you have a video showing cleaning up a leather bag that is tan in color?
No, sorry I don’t.
Do you wash canvas body coach purses the same way?
No saddle soap needed but I would soak canvas body purses the same way if it needed it.
Did you delinerateky cut your vouce out towards the end there?
Thank
Do you know any product that gets pen ink off leather bags??
No. I wish I did! Ink is the worst! Thanks for watching 💕
I’ve heard Sally Hansen cuticle remover will remove, or at least finish, pen marks.
I haven’t tried it yet myself
Hi Tuesday. Would you offer these purses to your subscribers first before posting on Ebay?
Great question Elaine! I’m so glad you asked 😉 These purses along with other Coach purses and accessories will be part of a THRIFTED PURSE SALE tomorrow at 7:30pm 👍🏻
@@tuesdaysfunfinds thanks. I work 2nd shift tomorrow. Hopefully I can watch it right away. ❤️
What is the buffing pad? If I wanted to order one what would I search
The pad came with the Chamberlains products when I purchased them 👍🏻 I believe they are called restoration pads 💛
@@tuesdaysfunfinds thank you! Are these the diy boxes or the rescue boxes. I saw they only had rescue boxes right now and it’s 4 purses plus and accessory. Just was wondering your thoughts on if that leaves room for much profit with all the work involved? Can I ask what you sold these ones for approx?
I wish I could remember. This video was from over a year or so ago. I don’t typically source purses this way anymore. I prefer to source purses from thrift stores and yard sales now. These boxes are always a gamble. Some are good and some are bad.
@@tuesdaysfunfinds thank you
Hi, i'd be glad to authenticate your vintage coach bags if your interested. Dave
Thanks Dave! Do you charge anything for authentication?
did the large black purse look like it had a bit of mold measles on the front of it?
Why don't you just spray the insides out with Lysol instead of washing them, after you have brushed or vacuumed them out. Then let it dry out.
