I've added another Omega to my collection. In this video, I share the journey of my watch collecting and how it led me to this piece. I've been moving from "quantity" to "quality" in terms of my collection, and the Aqua Terra certainly adds quality. So the first half of the video is my watch journey. The second half is the unboxing. In a few weeks, I'll do a full review with some up-close macro shots. - Розваги
This is the best video on this particular model on UA-cam. You really captured the colour and beauty of the dial.
This is pretty much what I did. I started off my watch journey out buying an orient, a movado and a micro brand in the span of like three weeks. I was thinking about joining watchgang, but I looked at it long term and figured that by doing that, I’d be spending enough to get one nice watch vs a bunch of junk watches I’d never wear, as there were already watches in my trio that weren’t getting worn. So I took the plunge and bought my first nice watch, a Breitling Colt, and the first three never got worn again. Now I’m at that five premium watch collection and I’m much happier than I would have been with 30-50 lower end pieces.
I loved that you told the story of your watch journey. Normally, I would find such an extensive background super boring but it was extremely informative and helpful for me. I think it would be great if you could add in a button or timestamp for people who maybe wouldnt find the long intro interesting so they can easily skip to the actual unboxing. Cheers!
Hi Dave, thanks for sharing your voyage towards the Aqua Terra. Highly relatable and informative. Enjoy that beauty!
Great video. I like the thought process you go through deciding on a watch. Your Aqua Terra is absolutely stunning!
Great pick. Congrats.
Dave huge thumbs up, congratulations on the new watch and to see you used a great place like jomashop is so great, enjoy that beautiful Aqua😁👍👍👍
Love it. I’d trade 50m of water resistance for 2mm of thickness in a nanosecond though
Looking good Dave
congratulations
I own the same AT same size. Am i the only one still watching this. Nice choice ! ..congrats !
Awesome...congrats
Great video. I have the same watch and the Speedy and they're both excellent. Enjoy your small, quality collection.
Have the same watch and this was my grail watch as well. The blue dial is stunning! Omega's most beautiful watch in my opinion.. Better looking than the new Aqua Terra models.
Stunning
Great review of a beautiful watch, prefer this model over the latest AT least resented last Baselworld, do have the 38,5 mm silver dial version of it and item the dress watch piece in my collection. Wear it in good health. 👍🏻
It screams quality.
Very Nice. Lume Shot would've been nice also. These watches are the perfect balance of Dress and sports. The perfect do it all dressy, sports watch, or sporty dress watch there is. A watch with class.
Congrats on getting this grail. I just purchased this, but in 38.5 mm a few weeks ago as well. I couldn't stand the thought of not being able to find a vertical teak dial with the new models coming out!
loxxrider - The vertical dial is perfect. The vertical dial with a date window at six would make this a perfect watch.
Dave's Watch Love I don't disagree at all!
Really debating between buying this or a Ball Engineer II Chronometer Red Label. I too fell in love with watches after I purchased the Christopher Ward C60 Trident Chronograph. BTW, the bracelet reminds me of the ChrWard C60 Trident bracelet. Speedmaster was also my first "grail watch" that I purchased. If Omega put the 8500+ co-axial movement in the Seamaster professional, then it would be my next-next watch.
Congratulations .. I just picked up a Speedmaster Moonphase. Looking to get the Seamaster planet ocean this summer.
AliSalim - Nice! The Speedmaster Moonphase is one of the best Speedmasters out there, I think. What a great watch to own. Congratulations!
Considering your distance with the authorized dealer, any relationship with them would be a long distance relationship which doesn't usually work! :-)
Beautiful watch I really enjoyed the video thank you , I’m thinking of getting one but I was thinking if I’m spending that much money on the watch should I get the small seconds instead ? What you think buddy ?
did you get any of the omega cards with this? like the ones with the hologram and numbers so you could look at it on the Omega website?
Do you know the reference number for this watch, Dave?
Andre Domingues - Hello Andre! It's 231.10.42.21.03.003.
I would say don’t but anything off the gray market that it is above $1000-1500 unless you really trust the dealer.
