I started my current journeyman with Elva in the second division of Estonia, got them promoted in the second season. Took Differdange in Luxembourg, won the double in the second season, and a few months later made it to the Europa League group stage, or whatever it's called now. Got smashed there, predictably, but the $8M prize money was life-changing for the semi-pro club, they still have secure finances two years later, after being insecure for most of my tenure there. After the EL exit, I got offered a job at Warta Poznan in Poland, where I'm still managing currently. One of the oldest Polish teams, a powerhouse in the 1920's and 30's, they've been in obscurity ever since, only recently getting promoted back to the top division. They were 10th when I joined half way through the season, but we ended up surging to take 2nd place, with the 3rd lowest payroll in the league. Barely squeaked into the Conference League, on penalties past IFK Goteborg, and that's where we stand now. Love the journeyman saves, they are the the best!
Great video! As an AIK supporter, Saletros has an extra special place in our hearts. He came back to the club at our worst to help us get back. A year later, we are still trash but Saletros is our best player by far! And yes, JKA did sign for Munich.
Guess what local team I support here in Stockholm, Sweden. ;) Nice to see my team mentioned and that you enjoyed coaching a club legend in the making (Salétros). Framåt stolta AIK!
I started at FC Arzignano Valchiampo in Serie C bringing from bottom of the table to Serie A. I leveraged the back to back promotions to move to Union Berlin, then to Toulouse where I turned them into a top 10 European club winning the Champions League, then to Inter for a new challenge (won everything), and now I am at Aston Villa trying to resurrect them after they've become a firmly mid-table team
Absolutely love a journeyman save. I was falling out of love with the game and then saw Loki's youtube channel and his journeyman series and it got me hooked into the game all over again I always do a brief save with Leeds United to get to grips with the game and also right a few wrongs and then jump into a journeyman. I prefer the lower league management, or less stronger nation management and tend to quite the journeyman when big teams start knocking on the door or the next game comes out FM20 - Llanefli (Wales - cymru north and cymru premier winners), Akranes (Iceland - league champions x3), Granada (Spain - 2nd division and la liga winner and europa league) FM21 - Holyhead Hotspur (Wales - cymru north champions), Nafta (Slovenia - 2nd division champions), Gdansk (Poland - league champions x3), Luzern (Switzerland - league champions) FM22 - started as a journeyman, ended up at Angers SCO as my second team and then became enveloped in trying to beat PSG to the title which I eventually did in my 8th year with them Trying to do things differently in FM24 and set some rules for myself. If i get promoted, i can either stay with the team to keep them up for 1 season only or leave. If I go back to back promotions, the selection resets. If I move clubs, I can only move to a club with the same star reputation or half a star more. So far taken the only part time time in the Slovakian 2nd division (Hummenne) to promotion in my second season with them, chose to resign and move to FC Osaka in the Japanese 3rd division. Currently top in my second season with them
my favorite moment of my journeyman save so far was when i finally won J1 with the team that gave me my first job in J3. I was about to agree terms with AGF in denmark to save them from the relegation zone but since Japan is a summer league i still had the Emperors cup to play on new years day. took the boys out and completely dismantled Urawa to win the cup 5-1 and then boarded the plane to Denmark
Really enjoyed this style of video tbh! I had a great journeyman save in fm23 last year. Started with Bukovyna Chernivtsi in Ukraine and went on to manage the following teams: Chrobry (Poland) Bekescsaba (Hungary) Doncaster Rovers (England) Vitesse (Netherlands) Watford (England) Borussia M'Gladbach (Germany) Barcelona (Spain)
I remember my Journeyman when I went to M'Gladbach in year 2029. Lost the UCL Final Year 2 to PSG and came back that next year and beat them 4-0 in the final. Crazy times.
Love a journeyman save. My journey was: Season 1. EIF in Finnish 2nd division - promoted Season 2. EIF- won league and cup double Season 3. Goteborg in Sweden. Finished the season 2nd (started halfway through) Season 4. Goteborg won the double Season 5. PSV won the league Season 6. PSV won champions league and league title Some of the seasons overlap a bit because of wonky season start times
I love you starting in the greek second tier, I started a save (albeit with good choacing quals and reputation) there as well with Apollon Pontou and it was very fun
Hello from sunny Uzbekistan) if you really love hard and interesting challenges in FM, take that: Easy challenge: take two clubs from League One and promote to the Premier League, but your first club HAVE TO stay in PL while you in second team. Medium challenge: Three clubs from League One, first two clubs HAVE TO stay in PL. Hard challenge: Three clubs from League Two, first two clubs HAVE TO stay in PL. Impossible challenge: TEN clubs from Championship, other conditions you know) For EVERY challenge: a single relegation with any former team, you’re lost.
not video related but the cut back to the beginning of the save really highlighted the effort you've made in your fitness/weightloss after the knee injury. massive congrats, seriously impressive stuff
I did a Journeyman challenge and it was so much fun i started at Dukla praha in the 2nd division and worked my way up i also created multiple tactics instead of downloading one. I want to start fm25 with a Journeyman save
Really nice one Clayts! I loved the video and I love the Journeyman type saves. Only 1 single issue that I have with your save, is clear for all to see that that CL final was rigged. I mean, it was your dog, what was he supposed to do? Beat you and risk on sleeping outside and starve.. :))) All jokes aside, great save and great video.
My latest Journeyman, wasn’t supposed to be a journeyman, it started at a RTG with IFK Malmo, but unfortunately a strange glitch happened where I couldn’t offer wages to staff once we went professional, literally even the worst staff you could think of wanted more money than we could offer, so I left them before the start of the first season back in the second tier. Went to IFK Goteborg, after 2 games we went from 6th to 2nd in the top flight, and finished second after hammerby had the most rediculous season in Swedish history, I dropped 4 points all season and finished 7 points behind Hammerby who overperformed their xPoint by 12! Second season, walked the league and before we could finish the europa league league phase that we had managed to get to, Leeds came calling, got them from 18th to 5th and back to the CL. That’s as far as I’ve got so far
Very good video my friend....Just a small information NOTIOS OMILOS is the SOUTH GROUP and the VOREIOS OMILOS is the NORTH GROUP! Keep up the good work!!!
in my journeyman i started at rapid bucharest winning the double in the first season, then i moved to charleroi in belgium securing european football, moved to lazio where i won the league in my second season and now i’m currently at aston villa who i picked up after they won the europa league and i won the supercup against barcelona
Gutted I missed most of this. Busy busy. I did a really short journeyman - 1 season unemployed (applied for everything), went to Livingston, won Scottish championship, finished 5th then 3rd in Prem. Won a couple of cups on the way, went to Leeds, got into Europe, won Europa league and league next season, won super cup, champions league, both cups and league season after, same again next season. Then went to Liverpool and have won it all. Think I'll stay at them for a while then look for a move to Madrid. Tempted to start again though to do something like this.
My first journeyman save ever, started midseason with fukushima in the japanese 3rd league. They were 17th. Made 2 or 3 signings and ended up getting promotion through the playoffs and im so proud of it, on course for another promotion in my 3rd season to get into the first league and want to win double to move onto my next team. Bar the passion ive got for the lads but any recommendations for my 2nd team :)
😂😂 Car Parks are massive! Everywhere go! Car Parks are MASSIVE! Everywhere WE GO!! EVERYWHERE WE GOOOOO!!!!! I was on every stream and it was BRILLIANT!
I had a JM save in fm23 and tried to win it by training as few clubs as possible. I stopt at 4 when i won CL. Landsvetter IS, AIK, Villareal and Liverpool
barbados -> gatehead as of 2028 dec. currently on a double promotion streak seeing us in the championship and am currently.... doing well is all i will say.
I did a good journeyman save Folland in the English county leagues to vanarama league south then to Iilaria in Slovenia then to Olimpija still in Slovenia then a bigger move to RB Slazburg in Austria then to Bayer Leverkusen in like 2030 they had just sacked Alonso with them for a few seasons now with Liverpool my manager speaks 7 different languages just from all the traveling 😂
As an FM content creator who has been doing it a long time and who defo knows all the tips n tricks to succeed in the game, do you not at this stage find it easy to play the game. I’ve watched a lot of creators and they never ever fail in their saves and seem to do the same things each time. Not meaning sign the same players but do the same things decisional things. Surely succeeding in different rebuild saves gets a little repetitive and boring. Is there a save there that creators like yourself can’t complete anymore? I love your stuff by the way. This is just a wonderment rather than a complaint.
FM creators always feel the Pep Guardiola’s of UA-cam. No matter what save ye do ye either always end up at a club good enough to complete your saves or do a challenge in a league where no matter what team you pick you’ll always complete the challenge. Why not load up the US Virgin Islands league and try win the CONCACAF Gold Cup and then win the club World Cup. Now that’s a bloody challenge 😅
Bijlow and cijntje arent supposed to be pronounced like that 😅 more like bi-low and not cinch but sain-tye. Dont know if that sounds it out wel but should be better then it was now. Other then that great video 😁👍🏻.
Justice for Nikos 😢
Νικοοοο
New save/video, give Nikos his Champions leauge gold medal

Winning an Olympic Gold for a fan favourite 3rd string keeper is the kinda stuff i live for in FM. beautiful story mate
If you gave Lenny more treats this could have been avoided

The awkward moment you realized your dog had a better journey than you xD Just kidding, keep up the good content Clayts!

I’m now subscribed Cus you seem like a nice lad, could say no to you asking 😂
hahahaha I cracked up at your dog being Liverpool manager 😂
This save shows us all that it is a more successful strategy to be a really good boy rather than a good FM player.

I had a JM save in fm23 and tried to win it by training as few clubs as possible. I stopt at 4 when i won CL. Landsvetter IS, AIK, Villareal and Liverpool
As an AFC Ajax supporter, it's painful to see how well you did with Feyenoord. That aside, what a journeyman, truly a zero to hero journey.
Didn't knew you played sorare😄
What is the tactic preset u use? 10:47 (gegenpress, tiki-taka, etc)
Cinch..... beautiful man
Love the save. 8th.
Thinking of starting one any tips
Vi är överallt💛🖤
nice video idea!
I'm in January 2055 in my journeyman. 12 clubs and 5 national teams.

barbados -> gatehead as of 2028 dec. currently on a double promotion streak seeing us in the championship and am currently.... doing well is all i will say.
barbados post was a slog
Gutted you didn't shoutout for the legendary nameless player
why do you have Eddie Howe with picture of Jason Tindall?

If I would ask ChatGPT to produce 100 random noices, all of those noices would come closer to 'Bijlow' than the way you're pronouncing it.
Ok
Schould´ve named the Video something like "I played a save against my dog to see who is the better Coach"
I’m just not sure the UA-cam algorithm would like that as much 😂
